Chapter 593: Such a Miserable Man
Chapter 593: Such a Miserable Man
Fu Yu’an immediately ran downstairs upon hearing this and threw himself into Su Wanxin’s arms, hugging her tightly with both arms and legs, as if to say wherever Mom is, I’ll be there.
Su Wanxin gently patted his head, and shot Fu Shihan a glare, warning him to shut up and not speak anymore.
Fu Shihan stayed with her the entire time until Su Yao returned and drove them to the airport.
It was obvious that Su Yao had a favorable outcome from lawyer Zhang Xinjie, and she was in a very good mood. She even smiled and waved at Fu Shihan when she saw him.
The car slowly approached the airport. Although Fu Shihan was driving slowly, it still felt too fast.
"Okay, no need to send us off. There are many reporters at the airport; it wouldn’t be good to be photographed."
Su Wanxin got off the car and took her luggage. Seeing that Fu Shihan still wanted to follow, she softly declined and then saw his displeased expression, she could only give a wry smile helplessly.
Fu Shihan looked around subtly, and seizing the moment Su Yao was distracted with the luggage, he leaned down and kissed Su Wanxin on the corner of her mouth, whispering softly, "Come back soon."
Su Wanxin pursed her lips, nodded, and with Su Yao and Yangyang, entered the airport. After completing the check-in process, they sat in the lounge playing with their smartphones.
Since birth, little Fu Yu’an had already taken many flights, but this was indeed his first time flying with his mom, which understandably made him a bit excited.
"Mom, can we bring Dad along next time?"
He was indeed her own son, even if he was disdained all day long.
"What benefits did your Dad give you?" Su Yao asked with a smile, "How about I find you a new dad?"
"...No!!!"
Yangyang pouted unhappily, huffed, and burrowed into Su Wanxin’s embrace, closing off in displeasure.
After waiting for a few minutes, it was time to board. Su Wanxin sent a message to Fu Shihan and then tossed her phone into her bag. She helped Yangyang take off his shoes and coat and coaxed him to sleep.
Outside the airport, Fu Shihan sat in his car until the plane took off; he then sighed deeply and drove home.
Although Su Wanxin had not been living with him during this time, fortunately, she was just next door, which was comforting as he could see her place as soon as he turned his head.
But now...
Fu Shihan got out of the car and looked at the pitch-dark house, deciding to move back to the old mansion the next day, to save himself from the torment of feeling nostalgic in this place.
After a flight of more than ten hours, having slept and eaten a bit, they almost arrived.
Su Bai picked them up from the airport, and Yangyang, hugging his uncle’s leg, called him "Uncle," feeling incredibly content.
The group returned to Su Mansion, and Yangyang, a bit shy with strangers, especially after seeing Grandpa and his big uncle whom he had never met before, stuck very close to Su Wanxin, clinging to her arm and being very well-behaved.
"Dad, brother." Su Wanxin smiled, pinching Yangyang’s cheeks, "Isn’t my son adorable? Yangyang, say hello."
"Grandpa! Uncle!"
The little guy crisply responded. Although young, his handsome features hinted at a future air of nobility, as if one could already envision what he would look like when he grew up.
After eating dinner, it was dark again, and jet lag was indeed a problem.
Yangyang, unable to sleep after his bath and rolling around in bed, took out a smartphone and sent a video to Fu Shihan.
Downstairs, Su Wanxin was chatting with her family. Upstairs, student Fu Yu’an was earnestly reporting the situation while also taking a jab at Fu Shihan.
"Dad, I think not only Grandma and Aunt don’t like you, but even Grandpa and Uncle don’t like you, you’re so pitiful!"
