Chapter 462: Eating Together

She calmly set down her bag and sat behind her desk to turn on the computer. Under Fu Shihan’s gaze, she planned to start her day’s work.

Fu Shihan’s eyes were gloomy, and after about ten minutes of silence in the room, Su Wanxin finally couldn’t help but sigh.

"What are you doing?" she looked up at the person on the sofa. "Who are you trying to scare so early in the morning?"

His face was clearly etched with anger, which Su Wanxin could see plainly.

She guessed a possibility, but wasn’t quite sure if he was really here because of that.

"Isn’t your company busy? There must be a lot to handle right after you’ve returned. You..."

Her voice trailed off as he got up, and Su Wanxin watched as he approached and yanked her up by the wrist, causing her to stagger.

"You know I’m very busy?" Fu Shihan spoke coldly: "Too busy to watch you go out for lunch with that blond guy, aren’t I?"

Su Wanxin: ...

Sure enough, it was because of that.

The truth was both amusing and exasperating. If it were someone else, questioning her about eating with a friend, she probably would have scolded them.

Even if it was Fu Shihan, she actually wanted to retort a bit.

But seeing him full of anger, waiting for her explanation, those harsh words seemed to suddenly become hard to say.

He really seemed to care about this matter.

"I’m really just friends with Keith," Su Wanxin said softly, sighing. "Maybe the first meal started as a blind date, but the second time, it definitely ended as friends."

She told Keith that they were better off as friends.

This message had been made clear, and the other party also understood her, smiling and saying it was fine, and then she happily sent him off.

"I won’t have meals alone with him in the future. Are you satisfied with this result?" Su Wanxin smoothed over his anger with a few words, "President Fu, do you realize you are quite frightening like this?"

"I didn’t notice you were scared."

Su Wanxin lowered her eyelids, concealing a fleeting smile.

He guessed right. She really wasn’t afraid; she just felt that he couldn’t actually do anything to her.

"Let’s have dinner together tonight."

Fu Shihan’s voice was faint. Su Wanxin thought about it, agreed, and managed to send this formidable person on his way.

She thought that Fu Shihan inviting her to dinner surely meant it would be just the two of them. But when she arrived at the place in the evening, she realized how naive she was.

Eating alone is lonely, a meal for two could be a date, so what the heck is dinner for three?

Su Wanxin felt awkward, and the other woman was both embarrassed and frightened.

She had won the opportunity to dine with Fu Shihan at the annual gathering. Thanks to Su Wanxin, thirty female employees had the chance to interact closely with Fu Shihan.

But when she arrived at the restaurant, while she was nervously trying to figure out what to say to strike up a conversation with Fu Shihan, she overheard him say.

"I still think it’s more interesting to dine with President Su. I didn’t expect she would give up her turn."
