Chapter 456: Dad, why do you always stare at mom?

"Leave the stuff and go."

Su Wanxin blocked his path and spoke softly, then turned her head to glance towards the kitchen.

Looking at how naturally he walked towards it, one could mistakenly think it was his own home.

Fu Shihan followed her gaze and faintly heard voices from the kitchen, a smile flashed across his eyes: "Are you afraid I’ll get hit if I go in?"

"...Mind your own business, don’t flatter yourself."

Su Wanxin tried to take the items from his hand, but he dodged her.

"Really not planning to invite me in? After all, we’re neighbors." Fu Shihan noticed that she dared not meet his eyes and raised an eyebrow. "Not even for a meal?"

"Can you stop causing trouble on purpose?" Su Wanxin sighed helplessly.

This morning he had irritated Su Yao so much, did he really think Su Yao would let him eat her cooking? Seeing him, she would probably come at him with a spatula and scold him.

Su Wanxin didn’t want him to have too tense relations with Su Yao; his mood was unpredictable and Su Yao wasn’t easy to deal with, and she felt uncomfortable being caught in the middle.

"Give me the stuff, I’ll take good care of Yangyang."

Fu Shihan guessed her concerns and stared at her for a long moment.

Su Wanxin didn’t know what he found so interesting about her, feeling awkward and at a loss for a moment. Meanwhile, Yangyang, looking up, watched the two of them back and forth before curiously asking, "Daddy, why do you always stare at Mommy?"

Hearing this, Fu Shihan slowly withdrew his gaze, looking down at him and replied, "Because she’s beautiful."

After he spoke, he handed the items to Su Wanxin, warned Yangyang to behave, and then turned to leave.

Yangyang followed him out of the door, watching as he entered the neighboring villa, then ran back inside, muttering softly, "Why does Daddy always live next to Mommy."

It was like this before, and it’s still like this now.

Hearing his muttering, Su Wanxin paused for a moment. She took him upstairs to pack up clothes and then went downstairs for dinner.

Having an extra little one at home, Su Yao felt a bit out of her element.

That night, she moved out of Su Wanxin’s room and lay in bed, thinking about the child and Fu Shihan, unable to sleep.

She remembered this morning how Fu Shihan took advantage of her sister right in front of her, thinking this man was complicated.

About Su Wanxin and Fu Shihan having a child, Su Yao knew a year ago, and so did the rest of the Su Family.

Why they didn’t mention it to Su Wanxin or discuss the child with the Fu Family this past year certainly had its reasons.
