Chapter 378: Her New Identity

Some things are beyond one’s control.

Even though Fu Shihan may be powerful, he can’t possibly go around silencing everybody.

There’s no end to keyboard warriors, so all he can do is reach out a helping hand when Su Wanxin is tirelessly climbing to the top of the pyramid.

When one day she becomes strong enough to not care about all the noise from the outside world, he will rest assured that she won’t be wronged.

"Okay, I’ll attend on time tomorrow. Congratulations to President Zhang for finally taking down that hard nut to crack, ST."

Hearing her words, Zhang Hanyu politely responded with a laugh, "I have to thank both President Su and President Fu for the assistance. Last time I mentioned to President Fu about having a meal together some day, and he agreed. How about it, President Su, when do you have time?"

Su Wanxin: "..."

She hadn’t heard Fu Shihan mention this before; it was probably a spur-of-the-moment agreement.

Su Wanxin rolled her eyes and pondered for a moment before replying, "Alright, I will arrange it once I’m done with the current busyness. I will inform President Zhang and President Fu in advance."

With that casual response, Su Wanxin hung up the phone and reviewed today’s market again. Competing with Fu Shihan meant she couldn’t afford any negligence.

The entire circle was now watching their moves, and Su Wanxin was serious, while Fu Shihan was not holding back either, which made the competition exhausting.

She stayed in her study until nearly one o’clock at night, utterly exhausted, and then went to rest. The next day, she appeared at the ST merger and acquisition meeting.

Before they had agreed on terms with ST, Bai Ran Group had already established a collaboration with the Su Family. The Su Family was taking on the financial advisory role for this project and would continue to monitor, forecasting asset performance and so on.

Thus, when Shen Wenguang and his daughter saw Su Wanxin, they subconsciously thought she was just there to observe.

Su Wanxin hadn’t seen these two for a while, and seeing them now, she couldn’t help but think they were really not in good shape, especially Shen Wenguang, whose hair had turned mostly white.

It was undeniable that Su Wanxin played a significant role in Zhang Hanyu’s acquisition of ST. Seeing them chatting and laughing, Shen Xiaochen snorted secretly. However, thinking about the recent confrontations between Fu Shihan and Su Wanxin made her feel slightly better.

When almost everyone had arrived, they all gathered around the table.

As Su Wanxin took her seat at the very center of the table, it inevitably attracted many questioning and sarcastic glances.

Isn’t there a limit to being rude? Regardless of being a president of a company, isn’t it embarrassing to behave like this?

Su Wanxin felt the unusual gazes from others, but simply sat down with no intention of getting up again.

She slightly tilted her head, her gaze meeting Shen Xiaochen’s across the space. The conference room was very quiet at the moment, with several people still standing, waiting for her to switch seats.

Zhang Hanyu also sensed the atmosphere wasn’t right and tried to smooth things over with a smile.

"President Su has become our director with the largest shareholding by investing capital and purchasing equity from other shareholders."
