Chapter 979: Chapter 979: Is There Any Part I Haven’t Seen? Summer Sutton has a natural advantage in her figure, looking beautiful no matter what she wears.
Standing in front of him, her legs were slim and long, fair and glowing, as if they could light up the room.
Just looking at her like this made Watt Bennet’s abdomen feel a bit heated.
He knew it was right not to let her stay; with Summer Sutton here for just one night, it was torture for him.
Watt’s gaze lingered on her for a long moment, his dark eyes shadowed as he looked at her.
Under his gaze, Summer’s heart thumped faster, suddenly feeling a bit nervous.
Watt stared at her for a while, reluctantly withdrawing his gaze, "Weren’t you going to take a shower?"
"Yes." Summer turned awkwardly and headed toward the bathroom.
After Watt moved his bedroom to the first floor, it was very close to the living room, and while Summer showered, all the sounds from the bathroom could be heard in the living room.
In the villa that only housed the two of them, the night seemed extraordinarily quiet.
Apart from the sound of running water from the bathroom, there was no other noise in the entire villa.
Listening quietly to her movements, Watt was somewhat distracted tonight, unable to focus on the work in his hands.
Moreover, Summer stayed in the bathroom for quite some time, taking at least an hour to bathe without coming out.
Every minute she spent inside was a form of torment for Watt.
Time passed by, second by second.
At eleven o’clock, Summer finished her shower and came out, her slightly damp long hair left loose, and she glanced at him still sitting in the living room, "Do you need a wash? I can help you!"
Her words were quite natural, tied by marriage, Summer only wanted to be a helping hand for him whenever it was inconvenient for him.
"No need." Watt threw her the words indifferently, bypassing her and wheeling himself toward the bathroom.
Summer stood outside the bathroom, not insisting on going in, but quietly waited for him.
She had just finished washing and hadn’t wiped the bathroom floor dry, and as Watt went in, whether he slipped or the pain in his injured leg flared up, a loud "thud" echoed from the bathroom, loud enough for the entire villa to hear.
Startled by him, Summer rushed in, pushing open the bathroom door, "What happened?"
As the door opened, Watt was sitting on the floor, pressing down on his injured leg, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
His expression was visibly painful, appearing just like the previous night when Summer saw him fall in the dining room.
Seeing him like this made Summer feel incredibly distressed, wanting to approach him, but he coldly reprimanded her, "Out!"
He probably didn’t want this side of him shown in front of her, his voice taking on a sternness it never had before.
Summer was stunned for a few seconds by his roar, foolishly frozen on the spot, forgetting to react.
"Out!" The man inside the room, seeing her not reacting, reprimanded her once more.
Summer stood there dumbly for quite a while, not obeying him, and instead, walked in.
Calming herself, she feigned a casual demeanor, "What’s the big deal? It’s just an injured leg, there’s nothing on you I haven’t seen anyway."
Ignoring his icy glare, she pulled him up from the floor.
Pressing him into a sitting position by the bathtub, indifferent to whether he was willing or not, Summer turned on the shower and efficiently started helping him bathe.
