Chapter 551: Chapter 551: Mr. Walyon’s Taste is Really Strong
Was he out having fun?
Summer Sutton was quite shocked by what she just saw, veins popping on her forehead. She held her forehead and stiffly sat on the sofa, tossing her phone aside with a snap.
After sitting for a while, she still felt unsettled, so she poured herself several cups of tea, gulping them down. She paced back and forth in the living room, and every time the image she saw crossed her mind, her anger flared up.
All men are indeed the same!
Adrian Walyon returned half an hour later, driving his car with a roar, speeding all the way back.
When he pushed open the garden gate and walked in, Summer Sutton was in the kitchen making herself dinner.
She was chopping vegetables, her anger palpable, and the sound of the knife hitting the cutting board was loud and sharp.
Adrian Walyon stood at the kitchen entrance, silently watching her. He explained, "I was discussing business with a client tonight, the location was chosen by them."
Summer Sutton ignored him, still chopping her vegetables.
If someone decides, does he just go?
"I really didn’t do anything," Adrian Walyon reassured her earnestly, fearing she wouldn’t believe him.
Summer Sutton scoffed coldly.
Was it that he didn’t do anything or that he didn’t have the chance to?
"I mean it." Adrian Walyon walked over to her, pressing down on her hand that was chopping vegetables, turning her face to look at him.
His preferred style had always been someone like Summer Sutton, and those women from the red-light district could never catch his eye.
Summer Sutton looked up at him, taking several deep breaths. She asked back, "Then why didn’t you leave?"
Adrian Walyon, "..."
Wasn’t it just when he was about to leave that she called?
Adrian Walyon suddenly felt tongue-tied, a bit frustrated. He habitually tugged at his tie, not defending himself against that point.
After all, he had indeed spent some time there when discussing business earlier.
His silence only fueled Summer Sutton’s existing anger.
"Uniforms? Two of them? Mr. Walyon, your tastes are truly interesting!" she sneered, her anger got the best of her, and she smashed the knife down forcefully onto the chopping board with a snap.
The angrier she was, the harder she chopped, creating loud, continuous sounds that echoed throughout the kitchen.
Adrian Walyon glanced in her direction, staring at the deeply marked chopping board for a moment. He was stunned, as if he hadn’t expected Summer Sutton to become so aggressive when provoked.
"All men are really the same, eating from one bowl while eyeing the pot, flying flags outside while hoping the one at home doesn’t fall!" Summer Sutton didn’t pay much attention to him, turning back to continue making her dinner.
While chopping vegetables, she muttered a string of complaints, and with each sentence, her grip on the knife tightened.
"I’ve told you, it was all nothing!" Adrian Walyon suddenly felt being in the kitchen might be dangerous, watching Summer Sutton carefully. He was suddenly worried she might get so angry the knife would swing his way.
Having known Summer Sutton for so long, today was the first time Adrian Walyon truly realized how frightening a woman can be when upset.
He stared at Summer Sutton for quite a while, dumbfounded.
"Then tell me, did you go or not? When discussing business, isn’t there a better place to go, why must it be such places?" Summer Sutton turned her head, coldly looking at him and asked.
Adrian Walyon was left speechless.
Actually, going to such entertainment venues, in his social class, was considered very, very normal.
