Chapter 535: Chapter 535: Did your teeth get knocked?
Summer Sutton was angry enough to want to throw him tens and thousands of miles away.
If she could throw him...
Adrian Walyon didn’t meet her gaze, he shut the door behind him and went downstairs.
He called his assistant, ordered breakfast, and brought over some company documents, planning to work from home today.
Once breakfast arrived, Adrian had someone go to Summer Sutton’s apartment to move her things.
Not knowing what she needed, he simply had everything brought over, eliminating the possibility for her to return to that place.
Carrying the breakfast upstairs, he walked into the bedroom and approached her, sitting down next to her.
He scooped a spoonful of porridge, bringing it to her lips, "Eat it!"
Summer Sutton had been forcibly brought here by him and was now trapped in the room, not being able to leave the villa.
She was practically under house arrest now!
Summer Sutton was annoyed with him, turned her face away, not even looking at the food he offered.
Adrian Walyon never feared her refusal to eat.
He always had ways to deal with her.
Gripping her sharp chin with his fingertips, he forced her to raise her face, and Adrian forced the porridge into her mouth.
His movements were domineering, and Summer Sutton refused to eat, so he forced the porridge down her throat.
Summer Sutton was infuriated, glaring at him. In Adrian Walyon’s unexpected gaze, she suddenly grabbed his wrist and fiercely bit down on one of his fingertips.
She bit viciously, as if she wished to bite off a piece of his flesh.
Adrian Walyon’s eyebrow furrowed, it actually hurt, but he didn’t get angry nor did he push her away.
He just let her be, waiting for her to vent sufficiently before withdrawing his hand, "Did your teeth hurt?"
Raising her face to look, Adrian Walyon checked her teeth.
Since the night Adrian had forcefully arrived, Summer Sutton had been furious with him.
Even more so after the arranged date incident.
But Adrian Walyon’s single remark caused all her inflated anger to collapse like a punctured balloon, instantly deflating.
Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon arguing essentially never amounted to much.
Each time felt like punching a cushion.
Not wanting to irritate herself further, she took the bowl from his hand and started drinking the porridge herself.
Adrian Walyon understood her breakfast preferences well, knowing she didn’t like the exotic delicacies like shark fin and abalone from the Walyon Family, so he ordered the simplest fried dough sticks and porridge.
"Do you like the taste? Supposedly, this restaurant is from River City, a taste you enjoy." Adrian Walyon tested by accompanying her with a bite of porridge and fried dough stick.
Summer Sutton ignored him.
She didn’t say anything directly, but seeing the steadily decreasing fried dough sticks, Adrian Walyon actually knew the answer.
She liked it.
So long as it was River City’s flavor, she liked many things.
Thinking she probably hadn’t returned to River City for a while and had little chance to eat foods from there, he accompanied her all morning in the room, and by noon, he had someone pack a River City specialty restaurant’s lunch.
Summer Sutton ate her lunch quietly, but she finished everything he bought.
"You like the taste of home?" Adrian Walyon watched her for a moment, seemingly pondering something.
Summer Sutton was still annoyed by his actions these past few days and didn’t respond.
Adrian Walyon didn’t press further, once lunch was dealt with, he carried on with his work as usual.
However, in the evening, something happened that Summer Sutton hadn’t anticipated.
Adrian Walyon had prepared many dishes for dinner.
Every dish was a local River City flavor.
He had even invited chefs directly from River City!
