Chapter 518: Chapter 518: Drunk

She drank several glasses in a row, not being good at drinking in the first place, and with each sip she took, she disliked the taste, always frowning slightly.

Her tone made it sound like after three glasses, the past would never be seen again, and she and he would each go their separate ways.

Adrian Walyon’s already indifferent face slowly turned cold as frost.

Summer Sutton toasted him four times in a row, considering her drinking capacity, she finally stopped.

She plopped back onto her chair and did not speak again afterward.

Adrian’s face was very stern, his handsome face tense; not a single glass was returned to Summer Sutton.

The atmosphere at the dining table suddenly became a bit awkward.

"Our Summer’s a bit drunk tonight." Ariella Sawyer feared the silence and pulled Summer aside, giving her shoulder a pat, "What are you talking about?"

"Nothing." Summer replied softly and quietly started eating.

She needed to fill her stomach, otherwise, she’d end up with a stomach ache like last time from the alcohol.

Adrian’s gaze swept over her direction, giving her an icy glance.

Summer Sutton ignored it, continuing to eat quietly.

She ate quite a lot, probably fearing her stomach ailment might flare up.

Adrian watched her for a while, then shifted his gaze and continued chatting with the others present.

The table was surrounded by people from the film industry, and the topics discussed were all about the new play.

Summer Sutton felt somewhat dizzy and didn’t really listen to what they were talking about.

After filling her stomach, she put her chopsticks down and quietly watched the people at the table.

She really didn’t want to deliberately look at Adrian, but her gaze always involuntarily drifted toward him, staring at him for quite a long time.

Adrian drank a lot tonight too. Although his face showed no expression, Summer Sutton could always feel the chill emanating from him from time to time.

It seeped into her heart, causing panic.

As Summer watched Adrian, she counted; he had drunk more than twenty glasses.

More than twenty glasses, what kind of concept is that?

Summer, not good at drinking, could never imagine.

She thought he must be feeling uncomfortable, not to mention whether he’s drunk or not, his stomach filled with so much liquid must be unbearable, right?

As Summer watched Adrian, her brows furrowed tightly.

Adrian kept drinking; although he didn’t show anything on his face, Summer felt his anger.

He drank, not seeming like he was drinking for socializing, but rather for venting some emotion.

As he drank more, Summer was too lazy to count.

She only knew he drank so much that she couldn’t bear to watch anymore.

No matter the situation between them, Summer couldn’t completely ignore him.

"Mr. Walyon has drunk too much, I’ll send him back first!" She quickly helped Adrian up, told the others at the table, and walked him out of the restaurant.

As she walked, she fumbled for the car keys on him.

Her small hands searched his thin coat several times, and she finally found the car keys and pushed him onto the car.

Adrian must have been somewhat drunk; all the way out, his body leaned heavily against Summer.

After getting into the car, he collapsed backward into the back seat, and it was Summer who helped tuck his long legs, hanging outside the car, inside.

Summer sat in the driver’s seat in front, started the car, and left the restaurant.

Once the car was on the road, at the intersection, she paused a little.

She was torn about where to send Adrian.

Previously, Adrian lived with the Walyon Family, but she couldn’t go to Walyon Family.
