Chapter 485: Chapter 485: It’s Not Like We Haven’t Slept Together
"Adrian Walyon, go put some clothes on!" Summer Sutton was extremely embarrassed, scolding him with her back turned.
"Where would I get clothes from?" Adrian Walyon didn’t take her words seriously.
Summer Sutton, "..."
He really didn’t have any clothes here...
"Towel!" Adrian commanded her again with a cold face.
Summer Sutton never won when she clashed with him.
Out of options, Summer Sutton turned to the balcony, took a freshly washed towel, and walked back in.
Her apartment overlooked other tenants in the complex across the way.
Afraid Adrian would be seen inappropriately, she was extra careful to draw the curtains tightly when moving in and out.
Back inside, avoiding looking at him, Summer Sutton handed over the towel, "Quickly, wrap it!"
However, Adrian didn’t take it immediately, just stared at her face, flushed like a boiled shrimp.
"We slept together for a year, what haven’t you seen yet?" he said with faint sarcasm, seemingly disdainful of her reaction.
Summer Sutton’s face turned even redder, her chin lifted high as she rebutted, "Six months!"
"Oh." Adrian dragged out his reply, paused, and then slowly spat out, "So, was the time spent together too short, Miss Sutton still avoiding certain parts?"
Summer Sutton was speechless, unsure if she should argue or not.
Adrian snorted lightly, took the towel from her hand, and tied it up right in front of her.
He casually tossed it around his waist, tied a knot, then sat down on the sofa to the side, picking up his phone to handle his business.
Summer Sutton looked over at him incredulously.
Was he not planning to leave tonight?
"Adrian, go back home!" She issued an eviction order with a cold face.
"The clothes are wet." Adrian replied nonchalantly.
"Just wear them back home!" Summer Sutton persisted.
"You’re a bit noisy." Adrian didn’t heed her words, his fingers rapidly tapping the screen as if dealing with company affairs.
"Go back home!" Summer Sutton raised her voice, growing anxious.
This time, Adrian acted as if he didn’t hear her and continued doing his own thing.
Frustrated with him, Summer Sutton lowly shouted at him, "Adrian!"
Her voice was loud, drawing the attention of Unity and Adrian’s face from the sofa.
With ocean-like blue eyes, Unity stared at her vacantly, looking both confused and innocent.
Summer Sutton didn’t have the heart to be stern with it, rubbing its head, "Sweetheart, I wasn’t yelling at you."
Unity, unaware if it understood her, continued to look at her.
Its eyes appeared extremely aggrieved, clear as the azure sea, as if tears were still hanging on.
Adrian turned his head to glance at it, suddenly feeling it might have potential for acting.
So theatrical, even he felt outdone!
Yet, Summer Sutton seemed to buy into it completely.
Unable to keep wanting him out, she picked up Unity and began to coax softly, "Alright, alright, we’re staying here tonight with mama, alright?"
Her attitude towards Unity was entirely different from how she treated Adrian.
Isn’t this just a classic case of people being less favored than cats?
Adrian suddenly felt a bit sour inside.
What made Adrian feel even sourer was that she spent all the time afterward with Unity.
No intention of asking Adrian to leave, she simply treated him like air and ignored him!
Adrian felt particularly uncomfortable.
Feeling very annoyed, he glanced at Unity being held by her and even had the impulse to snatch Unity up and toss it out.
