Chapter 992: Pinning Him Down

Chapter 992: Pinning Him Down

Shining Sky’s farm is incredibly beautiful, and standing outside, you can see an endless sea of flowers inside.

In the breeze, there is a faint scent of Blue Bell and a strong fragrance of Julia Owens’ roses.

The entire farm is planted like a garden, and as far as the eye can see, there are gardens of all colors.

The early summer sunlight is warm, and even the wind carries the scent of flowers.

Summer Sutton had never seen such a beautiful place before. Once inside, she started exploring with curiosity.

Today, because she wasn’t working, she dressed casually.

A breezy summer dress, a casually worn hat on her head, her skin so fair it seemed to glow in the sunlight. Here at the farm, she looked as if she was on a holiday.

Watt Bennet turned his head, his gaze uncontrollably drifting in her direction, quietly staring at her.

Summer had her back to him, bending down to smell a Julia Owens rose.

She picked the flower, tucked it into her hair, turned her head, and playfully moved closer to him, "Does it look good?"

Her beauty was unquestionable, needing no embellishment.

The flower was beautiful, but she was even more so.

This sight of her made Watt momentarily lose his senses.

He stared in a daze for a few seconds, while a satisfied curve appeared on Summer’s lips. She turned away and continued to pick flowers.

Watt snapped back to reality and began inspecting the blooming flowers on the farm.

At this hour, the sun had not set yet, and walking among the flower paths, the sunlight shone directly on his face, making it a bit hot.

Summer followed behind him and noticed sweat on his forehead, naturally raising her hand to wipe it off for him.

The back of her hand was slightly cool, and when it touched his face, it was like a small stream of water flowing by, indescribably soothing.

However, Watt caught hold of her wrist.

"I can do it myself." He gently put her hand down and awkwardly wiped his forehead.

Summer hummed in a defiant tone, not caring much for his words.

"It’s not like I haven’t done it before." She didn’t finish her sentence.

What she actually meant was that she had done this sort of thing for him before.

But, having said just half of it, what would have been a normal sentence suddenly took on a flirtatious tone.

What kind of person was Adrian Walyon?

Ever since they got married, no matter how ordinary Summer’s words were, Adrian could twist them a million miles away, especially with a word like "do" that inherently carried flirtatious connotations.

Summer straightened his body, adamantly helping him wipe the sweat.

She got very close, her whole body almost leaning on his.

Watt was seated, and Summer was bending over. Her dress was slightly loose today, and from this angle, Watt could enjoy the view of her chest without any hindrance.

Summer didn’t notice at all and continued helping him wipe.

As she wiped, her thoughts turned to his mask again.

She stared intently at his masked face for a moment, and suddenly lunged towards his embrace, trying to remove the mask with lightning speed. Watt, probably trying to avoid her, leaned back.

The flower path where they were at had a ridge beside it, and as Watt leaned back, his wheelchair overturned, causing him to fall backward into the flower bushes.

In the process, he also brought Summer’s body along with him.

Behind them was a dense cluster of flowers, and as they fell, there wasn’t much impact, nor was there any injury.

Summer didn’t even feel any pain.
