Chapter 989: Such a Deeply Affectionate Gaze

Summer Sutton’s gaze stiffened as she looked in the direction of the bathroom, stunned for quite a while. She hid her face under the sheets and gently curled her lips into a smile.

She got ready early, prepared breakfast, and waited for him.

After pushing Watt inside, her sense of direction was so accurate that she found his office directly without needing any guidance.

During Watt Bennet’s time at the company, everyone knew he was single.

Everyone in Shining Sky also knew the Winslow Family Old Master intended for him to marry Lily Winslow.

Watt Bennet had not appeared in the company with Lily Winslow more than a few times. Now, he was here with an unfamiliar woman.

Many company employees looked in their direction, full of curiosity about Summer Sutton.

While looking at Watt Bennet, her eyes, with their natural glow, even appeared somewhat affectionate.

As she kept looking, Summer Sutton’s lips curled into a smile.

She might not even realize it herself, but she looked very much like a naive schoolgirl from student days, infatuated with the campus star upperclassman.

Watt Bennet at work, his efficiency without Summer Sutton there, was such that he could accomplish three days’ worth of tasks in one day.

However, after Summer Sutton arrived, sitting beside him and watching him with such affectionate eyes, Watt tried multiple times to read the contract but couldn’t focus on it even once.

After a few such attempts, he set the document aside, called out to her in a steady voice, "Miss Sutton!"

Summer Sutton snapped back to reality, somewhat surprised by the look in his eyes.

"Put your gaze away," Watt Bennet seemed quite helpless toward her, tossing her a remark, and continued to gaze at the contract.
