Chapter 956: Almost at the Breaking Point

Chapter 956: Almost at the Breaking Point

His gaze was bone-chillingly cold, like an icy blade in the heart of winter, sweeping across one’s body and leaving the blood vessels feeling frigid.

"Darling, he even said he’s not bad looking, that I wouldn’t be losing out if I went with him." Summer Sutton’s voice echoed again in the corridor.

Her voice was always pleasing to the ear, but due to the drugs, it was now soft and sweet, almost enough to melt one’s bones just by hearing it.

Watt Bennet’s expression froze, his face beneath the mask turning into an iceberg.

Summer Sutton had called him "darling" several times, yet he never corrected her even once.

One arm hooked around her slender waist, his voice was faint, "Baby, he’s blind, we shouldn’t follow him blindly."

His sharp tongue, much like Adrian Walyon’s, was tough for most people to endure.

He was attacking the man’s appearance.

"Who are you talking about?" The young man, provoked by him, wanted to rush over and punch him.

But as he already approached Summer and Watt, with his fist clenched, he didn’t strike.

"I’m talking about you!" Watt Bennet lifted his face coldly, without any intention to dodge.

The young man met his gaze, feeling somewhat intimidated.

Despite living for over twenty years, he had never seen a man’s gaze as piercing as Watt Bennet’s.

He didn’t even need to do anything; just one look was enough to intimidate the opponent.

The young man, unaware of Watt Bennet’s identity, feared offending the wrong person. As he mulled it over, he reluctantly swallowed his anger.

"Who messed with her?" Watt shifted his gaze from the man’s face to Summer Sutton’s.

He was referring to Summer Sutton being drugged.

Summer Sutton was bewildered.

Watt Bennet shifted his gaze back to the young man.

The young man, under his gaze, turned pale and hurriedly denied, "It has nothing to do with me! She was already like that when I bumped into her."

Watt Bennet squinted, observing his reaction without a word.

The young man seemed eager to clear his name, insisting repeatedly.

He didn’t look like he was lying.

Watt was about to say something when Summer Sutton beside him couldn’t hold it any longer.

Her hand gripped his arm tightly, and she rubbed against his body.

They were still in the corridor, a place where people could come and go at any time, but she couldn’t care about that, her body pressed uncontrollably against his.

Her hand clutched the thin fabric of his shirt, seemingly wanting to take it off.

After a few attempts and failing to remove it, her soft hand slipped through the gap of his buttons, reaching inside his shirt.

Her head buried in Watt’s chest, she bit her lip, letting out a low, painful whimper.

Her sweet, tender voice was enough to almost turn the bones of the young man standing by into mush, filling his heart with more anger.

Damn, it was bad enough that he had his prize snatched away.

Now these two were about to put on a passionate display right in front of him?

He felt a bitter sourness, but there was nothing he could do against Watt.

The young man stood aside, his face looking rather sour.

Summer Sutton, her consciousness blurred, continued to press closer to Watt, her hand slowly exploring his chest, and suddenly hooked her arm around his neck.

Reaching out, her face slowly leaned toward him, Summer Sutton wanted to kiss him.

Watt Bennet’s cold, handsome face froze for a moment. Grabbing her wrist, not wanting any other man to see her like this, he held her as he moved toward the ship’s lounge.
