Chapter 1088: The Restless Young Master Walyon
Summer Sutton was clearly drunk like this, yet she could remember all of Watt Bennet’s recent actions.
She had opened up the topic, but then held her aching forehead and blurted out, "Why am I telling you all this?"
After a pause, she added, "You wouldn’t understand even if I told you."
Watt Bennet’s face had already looked bad tonight, and her words undoubtedly darkened it further.
"By the way, I’m having my graduation ceremony soon, will you come then?" At this moment, Summer Sutton’s logic was purely whatever came to mind.
Sometimes her speech was so orderly that Watt Bennet wondered if she was truly drunk.
Without answering her question, he lowered his head and glanced at her in his arms, then asked back, "Do you want me to come?"
"Of course." Summer Sutton answered without a hint of hesitation, as if it was obvious.
"Don’t mind letting everyone know your boyfriend is a disabled person in a wheelchair?" Watt Bennet reminded her.
Summer Sutton chuckled at his words, as if finding them amusing.
"You’re so shallow. Only shallow people care about such superficial things!"
Her words made Watt Bennet a little stunned, making his steps slow.
"Besides, it’s just an injury, who hasn’t been hurt? Even sitting in a wheelchair, you can outshine a crowd of nobodies." Summer Sutton seemed never to have considered how others might view her and him by bringing Watt Bennet into her world.
From the moment she saw him appear before her with his new identity, she seemed to never have paid excessive attention to his legs.
She spoke indifferently, causing Watt Bennet to lose himself for a moment, while a gentle look spread in his eyes.
"Are you coming?" Summer Sutton urged him.
Watt Bennet continued quietly carrying her inside without giving her a promise or refusal.
She took his silence as consent automatically.
She tugged at the corners of her mouth and smiled, comfortably snuggling into him and fell asleep.
Watt Bennet thought her sleep was just a temporary nap due to alcohol, but who knew, once Summer Sutton closed her eyes, she never opened them again.
Watt Bennet carried her to the room, helped wipe her face and body, turning her over and over a few times, but Summer Sutton never once opened her eyes to look at him.
Such behavior caused Watt Bennet’s expression to stiffen.
He gazed at her soundly asleep face for a while, then covered her with the quilt and lay down beside her with a poker face.
Honestly speaking, going to pick her up, sending her back, staying busy for so long without doing anything together in the end, Watt Bennet felt disappointed inside.
Was he a laborer for the night?
In the room, the gentle sound of Summer Sutton’s even breathing wove around Watt Bennet’s ears like a soft breeze, teasing his every itch.
Turning his head to look at Summer Sutton beside him, he intentionally nudged her.
He wanted to wake her up, so it’d be convenient for them to do anything.
However, Summer Sutton remained deeply asleep, back facing him the entire time.
Feeling agitated, Watt Bennet nudged her again.
His action was never gentle, and one shove pushed Summer Sutton directly from the bed’s edge to the bed’s center.
Such a significant move, yet Summer Sutton only let out an uncomfortable hum, still without any intention of waking.
Watt Bennet took a deep breath, then proceeded with a more excessive act.
He blocked Summer Sutton’s breath by covering her nose with his forefinger.
