Chapter 1064: Marry Her and Take a Good Look at Her at Home
Old Master merely responded with an indifferent "Hmm," shifted his gaze, and walked away with his hands behind his back.
The first thing Summer Sutton did after returning was to rush to the room Manuel Ink arranged for her to check if the herbs she worked hard to get were still there.
Seeing the herbs drying nicely on the balcony, she let out a long sigh of relief.
These herbs were not only Old Master’s lifeline but hers as well!
Manuel Ink passed by outside the room, and seeing her like this, he was momentarily lost in thought.
Just then, Old Master happened to be walking upstairs. Seeing Manuel like that, he snorted lightly.
"Still not had enough after looking for ten days?" He sneered, lifting the corners of his lips sarcastically.
His voice wasn’t quiet, and both Summer Sutton and Manuel Ink heard it clearly.
Summer turned her face to glance at Manuel Ink, who she didn’t know when he started standing at the doorway, and felt a bit awkward.
"Grandpa’s vision is getting worse as he ages." Manuel Ink retracted his gaze, lightly countering Old Master’s remark, and went downstairs past him.
Old Master took a moment to react to Manuel Ink’s slow response, his face instantly stiffening.
Is he calling him old and blind?
That brat!
Manuel Ink had already gone downstairs.
Feeling bored, Old Master followed him, walked into the living room, circled around Manuel Ink, looking at him, before he mumbled, "Like staring at people, do you?"
Manuel Ink’s slender fingers fiddled casually with the white jade teapot, ignoring him.
Old Master glanced at him and breathtakingly said, "Like looking but not marrying her home to look enough?"
Manuel Ink paused his tea-making motion, slowly lifted his face, stared at him for a few seconds, and retorted coldly, "Is the Ink Family a bunch of bandits?"
The words lacked tone, but they hit the nail on the head.
Old Master was at a loss for words due to his retort.
But how does that equate to being bandits?
Among the Ink Family, who isn’t outstanding?
Even leaving aside Manuel’s background, just his looks alone, how many women are fighting to get close to him?
It’s just one woman; why the need to snatch?
"Forget it, talking to you is asking for nothing but annoyance." Old Master huffed and walked away with his hands behind his back.
Manuel Ink continued making tea in the living room.
Meanwhile, Old Master leisurely drove around the expansive garden of the Ink Family.
He genuinely had nothing much to do every day; his only pleasures were the flowers and plants he planted in the garden and the numerous cars and a few planes at home.
Manuel Ink hardly ever touched the family’s planes; essentially, all the planes were Old Master’s to play with alone.
As Old Master strolled around the garden, a small plane suddenly appeared overhead.
It was a bit distant and didn’t appear to have entered the Ink Family’s airspace yet.
Since Manuel Ink was in the living room, the person in the plane couldn’t be him.
If it wasn’t him, who else dared to circle near the Ink Family’s airspace?
Old Master stared at the plane in the sky, his eyes wide open.
The plane in the sky was flying toward his direction, hovering not too high.
What Old Master didn’t expect was that after flying over, the person in the plane did something even bolder.
The plane merely nearing the Ink Family’s airspace had already made Old Master displeased, and who knew after flying over, that plane even flew directly into the Ink Family’s garden airspace.
This was already flying into the home; simply too audacious!
Old Master was so furious his face turned green.
If this could be tolerated, he’d be embarrassed to say his surname is Ink when he goes out!
