Chapter 130: Roguish to a New Level
Chapter 130: Roguish to a New Level
Someone attempted to ambush Yu Minglang, but Yu Minglang kicked them down, and Qian breathed a sigh of relief.
Things got physical outside, so there was no time to explain too much to her grandma.
"Qian’er, what’s really going on?"
"That woman is not right in the head; she’s a nutjob!" Qian finally found a perfectly good excuse.
"Huh?"
"Did you see that big oaf fighting outside? That’s my boyfriend. And that woman, not right in the head, mentally ill, took a fancy to my boyfriend and chased after him." Qian said as she watched Yu Minglang brawling with the crowd.
Poor oaf, not only did he have to fight on Qian’s behalf, but he was also labeled by her as being liked by a lunatic.
Grandma wanted to say something else, but Qian got out of the car, locked her grandma inside, and with the sunroof open, there was no worry about the old lady suffocating.
Yu Minglang blocked Qu Xue’s brother’s punch with his left hand and kicked away one of Qu Xue’s uncles with his right foot.
The small minivan with three rows was crammed with nine people inside, plus Qu Xue and the driver, making it eleven in total, definitely overloaded.
Yu Minglang’s skills were such that he could fight a bunch without issue, but the problem was, there were women in there.
It’s unclear whether it was Qu Xue’s mother or aunt, a particularly fat old woman, who stretched out her dark sharp nails to scratch Yu Minglang. While Yu Minglang was enjoying the fight, he noticed someone attacking him from behind. He was about to swing his fist but, seeing it was a hefty woman, he pulled his punch back.
As a result, the fat woman got the upper hand, scratching his neck.
Qian arrived, just in time to see Yu Minglang being scratched.
The passengers on the minibus formed a circle to watch the excitement, not one stepping in to help.
Qian only saw him being bullied and didn’t see the ones he had kicked down, unable to get up. Furious, she rushed over and shoved the fat woman away, the sensation of pushing flesh quite disgusting, squishy, the woman’s undershirt soaked with sweat, feeling very damp to the touch.
The feeling was just like grabbing pig fat, slimy and nauseating.
Qian pushed the woman aside, stood in front of Yu Minglang, and pointed at the fatty and Qu Xue, saying.
"Speak up if you have something to say, don’t embarrass yourself."
"Oh, you finally dared to come out. I thought you were hiding like a turtle, scared to face us," Qu Xue said sarcastically.
Qian sneered and looked her up and down, "I’m not like you, entangled with a married man, you’re a woman pointed at by thousands yet still have the courage to live and waste air, how am I any worse?"
Qu Xue’s entourage was angered by Qian, wanting to step forward, but as Yu Minglang stood beside Qian, cracking his knuckles and looking around, they all piped down.
"I’m not talking to you, bring the old lady here, I’ll talk to her!" Qu Xue demanded arrogantly.
"My grandma has nothing to say to you, what do you count as, what relation do you have to our family, we have no obligation to listen to your nonsense."
After Qian finished, she turned to look at Yu Minglang, seeing the scratch on his neck, then looked back at these people, saying with a cold glint in her eyes.
"You chased us down like mad dogs and beat one of us up like this, I can completely sue you for intentional harm."
Qu Xue’s family was nearly infuriated to death by Qian’s inversion of black and white.
"He also beat our people!"
Qian turned and looked at Yu Minglang, "Did you hit them?"
Yu Minglang reached a new level of defiance, spreading his hands, "Who saw, any evidence?"
He kicked and punched but didn’t leave any marks.
"All of us saw it, you think we’re blind?" Qu Xue raged.
"Co-defendants in the same criminal case can’t be witnesses for each other, your testimony doesn’t count." Yu Minglang applied his knowledge, a law master’s not to be trifled with.
"Hurry and bring down the old lady, I have something to say to her! Your family bullied someone and can’t avoid giving me an explanation," Qu Xue, unable to out-talk Yu Minglang, demanded directly to see grandma.
At this time, grandma was anxiously leaning against the car window, looking over. There was a road between them, and with music playing in the car, the elderly woman, hard of hearing, couldn’t hear clearly, only seeing a bunch of people facing off, the atmosphere seemingly tense.
Qian was tearing and watching the reaction in the car, seeing grandma still looking, she was relieved, turned back to continue her confrontation.
"How did our family bully you? Take your house, occupy your land, steal your man? It seems these are all things you did to my mom, we haven’t even come after you, you dare come to us?"
Qu Xue, a woman well seasoned in battles, didn’t feel ashamed at all despite Qian saying that. Most women would feel embarrassed and humiliated already, but she didn’t feel an ounce of shame.
Believing that villains always have face, and villains feel guilty for doing bad things, these are all wishful thinking. People like Qu Xue never feel wrong about what they did, nor guilty towards anyone, so facing Qian’s accusations, she was unfazed.
"I can’t say anything to you, little brat, let me see your grandma, I’ll talk to her face to face."
Just as Qu Xue finished, someone behind her attempted to rush towards the car.
Seeing what kind of person someone is can reflect on the family environment they’re from. Jerks seldom appear alone, and often behind a scoundrel stands a family that raised them into one.
Therefore, when Qian treated people psychologically, especially in treating teenagers, she usually treated their family along with them, otherwise it would only be treating the symptoms, not the root cause.
Qu Xue’s extremely selfish values were definitely related to these people behind her.
As long as they could gain benefits, they didn’t care about others’ lives, in front of benefits, face is worth nothing.
When someone tried to pass Qian, Yu Minglang suddenly moved beside her, pointing with his shoe tip at the crack on the ground.
"If anyone crosses this line, don’t say I didn’t warn you."
The person intending to go over sillily asked.
"What do you mean?"
Yu Minglang smiled slightly, retracted his leg and kneed the opponent’s stomach, "If you don’t behave, prepare a coffin."
The opponent was kicked back several steps by Yu Minglang, feeling as if his stomach was about to burst open, his intestines about to spill out and wreak havoc.
"I didn’t... cross the line." The one kicked, about to faint from the pain, suddenly blurted out this sentence.
Pfft, Qian laughed.
Yu Minglang retracted his leg, looking particularly innocent, saying.
"Maybe my leg slipped, anyone who isn’t afraid of preparing a coffin, just come over."
Qu Xue’s entourage had come in full force, only to be easily blocked by Yu Minglang.
In the distance, a few cars drove over with great momentum, led by a Land Rover Discovery 2, followed by a flashy Mercedes, and at the back, an Iveco minibus filled with people in black, looking closely, you could see those people holding something in their hands.
Sitting in the Mercedes, Zheng Xu saw a small minibus parked by the road, the license plate just matching what Qian had mentioned. He was about to use the radio to tell the guys in the car behind to get ready to get out.
But seeing Yu Minglang confronting a group of people, Zheng Xu changed his mind again.
"Tell the brothers to park by the road, nobody gets off."
