Chapter 210 - 195: All Debts Must Be Paid; The Body Is Power and Authority

After watching the entire video, Kondo Yasushi stared blankly for a moment as a chill crept into his heart.

He knew full well the massive uproar this video would cause if it were spread across Japan’s internet.

Yi Beidou’s actions had already plunged all of Japan into a storm of public opinion. However, since the government had yet to release an official statement, all discourse was mere speculation, mired in intense debate.

Some claimed Yi Beidou intended to challenge the entire Japan Martial Arts Realm, while others argued the Changqi incident was a terrorist attack, believing it impossible for a single man to dare challenge the whole nation.

But this video from Yi Beidou made his true intentions clear to everyone, leaving no room for further debate. At the same time, it would undoubtedly ignite the flames of their nation’s pride.

Valor, a fighting spirit, and reverence for the strong hold an extremely important place in a nation’s cultural self-esteem.

It would be a raging inferno. To defend their honor, countless Martial Artists from Japan would charge forward, one after another, even if it meant sacrificing their lives.

"Can you fulfill this request for me? Oh, and by the way, add Japanese subtitles to the video for me."

Yi Beidou said.

"Please rest assured, Sir. I guarantee it can be done."

Hearing Yi Beidou, Kondo Yasushi took a deep breath, reined in his thoughts, and hastily replied.

’How the country will react isn’t my concern right now,’ he thought. ’What I need to worry about is how to get this plague god out of here so my family can survive.’

"Then let’s go. Take me to the dining hall and prepare a meal for at least fifty people. After I’ve finished eating, you can have someone send the video."

"Of course, I’m not one to bully others with my power. If you do a good job, I don’t mind giving you some compensation."

Yi Beidou said, then the Demon Flame around him receded. He strode toward the study door.

"Sir, please, allow me to lead the way."

Kondo Yasushi hurried forward to walk in front of Yi Beidou and opened the door for him.

He was worried Yi Beidou would just walk out and startle the old butler. If the butler called the police, his family would be finished.

As he passed his son and daughter, who were still slumped on the floor, Kondo Yasushi shot them a severe look. Having been raised in a prominent family, the two understood immediately. They scrambled to their feet and followed behind their father with their heads bowed, not daring to even glance at Yi Beidou.

"Master, you..."

The old butler, who had been waiting by the door, saw Kondo Yasushi emerge and was about to ask if he needed anything. But then he saw his master respectfully leading a tall, plainly dressed young stranger out of the study, and his expression went slack with confusion.

’When did a stranger get into the master’s room? How did I not notice?!’

"Immediately have the kitchen prepare a meal for fifty—no, make it more than that. It must be fast. Once it’s ready, deliver it to the dining hall. Also, you are to personally oversee the entire process. Don’t let any outsiders near, and don’t leak a single word of this to anyone. Do you understand?"

Kondo Yasushi told the old butler in an exceptionally grave tone.

He had no intention of letting any information leak. In fact, he was even more worried about it than Yi Beidou. In the presence of a man like this, he wouldn’t dare gamble with his own life on a slim hope.

The only wise choice was to satisfy the man’s demands and let him leave on his own terms.

Hearing Kondo Yasushi’s words and seeing his unprecedentedly serious expression, the old butler simply agreed. He asked no questions. Keeping his head bowed, he didn’t spare Yi Beidou another glance before respectfully excusing himself to carry out his orders.

He had served the Kintos family for nearly twenty years and become Kondo Yasushi’s most trusted confidant. He understood perfectly well that one shouldn’t pry into matters that weren’t one’s business.

Otherwise, he never would have lived this long.

「The Manor’s Dining Hall」

The dining hall was immense and lavishly decorated. Various works of art hung on the walls, and a large-scale ukiyo-e mural adorned the ceiling. A Crystal chandelier sparkled with a gem-like brilliance.

Though called a dining hall, the Kintos family often used it to host private receptions, as it had more than enough space for guests to mingle and chat.

The kitchen staff wasn’t particularly fast. After all, it was the middle of the night, and the chefs and employees had already gone to bed. Thus, it was about an hour and a half before dishes began to arrive at the table.

Prime beef, organic vegetables, and fresh fruit. The culinary skill was quite high, and the food tasted excellent.

Yi Beidou showed no signs of impatience. He sat at the head of the table, waiting quietly, completely devoid of anxiety or panic. He didn’t look at all like a man being hunted by the entire city.

He savored the food with deliberate care. Yet, despite his seemingly unhurried movements, platters of food vanished at a rate visible to the naked eye.

By now, Kondo Ayaka had changed into a proper set of clothes and applied light makeup. She was already strikingly beautiful, and at only sixteen, she was in the prime of her youth. Her skin was so delicate it looked like it would break with a touch, and she exuded a natural, subtle fragrance without any need for perfume.

She stood respectfully by Yi Beidou’s side, personally serving his food and pouring his water.

RUMBLE RUMBLE!!

As Yi Beidou continued to eat, his internal organs began to work at an accelerated rate, and a rumbling sound, like the workings of a great machine, echoed throughout the dining hall.
