Rebuilding the Immortal Cultivator Clan

Chapter 2043 1490: All-Encompassing_2

As he walked out of the formation, an aura of the Earth Immortal Realm faintly emanated around him, proclaiming to everyone his cultivation.

He looked around in all directions, as if observing and searching for something.

At this moment, within several feet of him, apart from a few cultivators responsible for guarding, protecting, and activating the formation, not a single cultivator could be seen.

Even though he was inside the Immortal City, under the protection of the Li Clan's rules, those loose cultivators were still worried they might inadvertently offend him, so simply chose to keep their distance.

"There's nothing special here, why would the sect value this place so much?"

This person's name was Wan Qingxuan; he was not from the Cave Abyss Sect, but from the venerable Sky Sword Sect, which lay even further away, a long-established Heavenly Immortal Sect.

This was a power far stronger than the Cave Abyss Sect; its most formidable and most proudly inherited technique was the Void Sword Dao, which involved the Laws of Space!

Not only was it peerlessly powerful in combat, it could also wield the power of Space Laws, and if it encountered an opponent it could not match, it could instantly escape using space techniques.

The reason Wan Qingxuan came to Shanhai State was that, in recent years, he'd constantly heard the Sect Leader and Elders praise the Li Clan's excellence, which sparked deep curiosity about them.

So, once the Teleportation Array became available, Wan Qingxuan prepared briefly, then arrived at the Li Clan domain via the teleportation array, eager to witness for himself the family so highly praised by his sect elders.

Yet, when he actually arrived at Shanhai State, he felt disappointed, for there was nothing remarkable—in fact, it was rather desolate.

"Maybe it's just because the Li Clan is so remote and a bit isolated?"

Thinking so, Wan Qingxuan decided to continue eastward, patiently observing along the way.

Traveling eastward, from the furthest corners of desolate land to the vibrant Immortal City, he had seen quite a bit.

But even after reaching the Immortal City outside Mount Wanxian, the largest, busiest city within Shanhai State, he didn't find anything that set it apart from other Heavenly Immortal powers, or anything truly special.

The only slight difference from the Sky Sword Sect was the Li Clan's friendliness toward loose cultivators; many Outer World domains and Demon Beast Mountain Ranges were open to them for training.

The cause of this lay in that Wan Qingxuan's perspective was not aligned with the Sect Leader and Elders.

He believed the Li Clan's excellence was in their tremendous strength, or potent potential.

But the Sect Leader and Elders praised the Li Clan for their willingness to share some interests with loose cultivators, then extract other benefits from them by different means.

It seemed a simple concept, and many powers understood its merits, but because they couldn't bear to part with their interests, very few powers would actually do so.

Precisely due to these differing perspectives, the misunderstanding arose, and Wan Qingxuan failed to realize the real issue.

However, when he heard a particular piece of news, he suddenly felt the Li Clan was not as lacking as he'd imagined.

That was: the Li Clan was opening an Outer World domain from a Middle Thousand Worlds, allowing all cultivators to enter!

For the battle-loving Wan Qingxuan, this was huge news; during his time in the Sky Sword Sect, he had only entered one Middle Thousand World.

Now, with a chance to enter another Middle Thousand World, how could he not be delighted?

And the Li Clan was prepared, officially launching an invasion of this Outer World, known as the Primordial Beast Realm!

Actually, the Primordial Beast Realm wasn't recently discovered by the Li Clan; many years prior, they stumbled upon it by chance, but only carried out tentative development and exploration, to study the Otherworld situation.

After paying a certain price, the Li Clan was astonished to learn that in the Primordial Beast Realm, the human race was not dominant—in fact, their status was extremely low, as slaves and food for the Devil Race!

Strictly speaking, the humans of the Otherworld are also considered an alien race, but to see beings resembling themselves so abused by Devil Beasts, how could they not feel rage?

Yet, for lack of enough strength, and fearing for their own safety and that of their tribe, they couldn't rashly risk rescuing those humans.

Still, they didn't do nothing. After lengthy discussion, they devised a plan that might accelerate their conquest of the Primordial Beast Realm!

"The hatred between humans and the Devil Race of this realm has surely reached an astonishing level—we can absolutely leverage the human race's power, join forces inside and out, strike the Devil Race from all sides, and weaken them!"

With this proposal, everyone's eyes lit up; it truly was an excellent plan.

"But there's a problem we must address first: the human race is too weak, asking them to attack the Devil Race is no different from sending them to their deaths."

So, to solve this issue, after discussion, they decided to impart cultivation methods to the humans of this realm!

As for whether, after acquiring these cultivation methods and overthrowing the Devil Race, they would betray the Li Clan, attack them, and expel them from the Primordial Beast Realm—

The Li Clan had of course prepared a safeguard: they embedded a fatal flaw directly into the cultivation methods!

Once someone struck this vital spot, their mana would immediately descend into chaos, rendering them incapable of using mana again.

Besides, having just acquired the cultivation methods, they couldn't ascend to high realms in a short time—unless there truly was someone destined, favored by the Heavenly Dao.

But in that case, the Li Clan wouldn't worry much, since the cultivation technique only reached the Realm of Human Immortality.

After the Li family members finished their deliberations and prepared thoroughly, and the sated Devil Beasts had departed, they waited until the coast was clear, then quietly made contact with the Primordial Beast Realm's human race.

"Who are you?" A group of primitive-looking savages, their eyes alert, stared at the suddenly appearing beings who resembled themselves.

Despite the physical similarities, they instantly recognized the Li family members as outsiders.

"We are not natives of this realm, but come from another world. We are also of the human race. Seeing you oppressed by the Devil Race, we feel deep anger, yet our numbers and power are insufficient to save you. All we can do is teach you the means to save yourselves."

Li Xiuting did not hide his identity, and stated his purpose outright.

Now it depended on how these humans of this realm would deliberate.

"Do you have any requests, or purpose?"

"The Devil Race is too powerful, preventing us from acquiring cultivation resources." This time, Li Xiuting didn't speak the whole truth, but neither did he lie, merely concealing their real intentions.

"Thank you kindly!"

The leading few humans of this realm pondered briefly, then decided to accept this 'goodwill' after all.

It was clear these realm humans did not trust them, but were still very concerned about the cultivation methods delivered.

They understood well that whether their race continued to decline, or gained a new and bright future, might all hinge upon this one opportunity!

The Li family left behind several cultivation techniques; though their own practice was of the "Wanling Scripture" or the "Earth Spirit Dao Record," the family's scripture hall contained many techniques which they had once studied.

From these, they chose several ordinary Human Immortal-grade techniques, and to help them begin their cultivation swiftly, attached some insights as well.

Additionally, there were some attack, defense, and support type spells, plus over a dozen jade slips, which they handed to the realm humans.

"Hope you act cautiously—without sufficient strength, don't act recklessly, lest the Devil Race discovers your movements too early and endangers the whole race." Li Xiuting warned them, then took his clansmen and quietly departed.

They did not plan to continue exploring the Primordial Beast Realm, but intended to return to the clan and report their decisions and measures.

Though they'd acted before seeking approval, thus bending clan rules, but there were solid reasons, and the clan would surely understand.

And so it was: upon hearing their report, Li Debo not only didn't get angry, he loudly praised them for their actions.
