"HEHE. You are quite interesting. Are you really twenty years old? I feel like the person on the Jade Token doesn’t quite match you," the man in white chuckled, his words making Shangguan You’s smile grow even brighter.

"Really? Is it because I’m even better-looking, prettier, and more charming in person than on the token?"

Shangguan You’s words once again made Ye Ershao spit out the apple in his mouth, and the smile on the man in white’s face successfully stiffened.

"Not bad. You are indeed cuter than the one on the Jade Token," the man in white said, recovering and nodding at Shangguan You with a smile.

"I’ve told you not to talk to strangers, or you won’t even know how you died," Ye Ershao transmitted his voice again. His heart was filled with regret; he should have briefed her about the Hidden World Village beforehand.

Ye Ershao was already regretting it. They tried not to provoke others, but that didn’t mean others wouldn’t provoke them. Now, Shangguan You had given them away with just a few sentences.

"Who asked you not to explain things clearly before we came?" Shangguan You rolled her eyes. Being discovered was no big deal. At worst, she could turn this handsome man in white into another Elder Shi.

"This man is much more formidable than Elder Shi. Since my little brother isn’t here, I’m not confident I can silence him. If you don’t want to be killed the moment you enter, you’d better establish a good relationship with him."

Her words were followed by sharp intakes of breath from the crowd. Even the middle-aged man sitting behind them, who had just been handling registrations and checks, turned pale.

"HEHE. It seems I’ve been negligent. My name is Bai Muxue." Bai Muxue’s pleasant voice reached Shangguan You’s ears. He politely extended his hand to shake hers, following the customs of the secular world.

"Uncle Bai, my name is Youyou, and this is my cousin." Shangguan You’s eyes flashed as she spoke with a smile, her small hand gently meeting Bai Muxue’s. The moment their hands touched, an icy chill emanated from his. Shangguan You gave a light squeeze and quickly let go.

"Youyou, that’s a nice name," Bai Muxue said with a smile, his tea-colored eyes nodding towards Ye Ershao. Though these two seemed ordinary, Bai Muxue sensed something different about them.

"Youyou, what do you think of the outside world?" Bai Muxue asked, the corner of his eye crinkling slightly as he smiled, gazing at Shangguan You’s utterly plain face. If not for her captivating eyes, she would often be overlooked.

"If you don’t want to die, keep your mouth shut," Ye Ershao’s icy voice once again rang in her ear. Though he kept his eyes closed, he had been closely following the conversation between Shangguan You and Bai Muxue. Hearing Bai Muxue’s clearly interested question, he couldn’t help but issue a cold warning.

"Why? Shouldn’t you find some time to tell me about the Hidden World Village?" Shangguan You raised an eyebrow and retorted coldly.

"When we get there, seeing it with your own eyes will be more effective than any words. This Bai Muxue is from the Bai Family."
