Chapter 578 - 573: Detention

Fang Pingying handed Captain Huang a business card from the supermarket, with her position listed as General Manager. Anyone with a bit of knowledge could tell that the General Manager is actually the boss, or at least it shows she has a stake in that supermarket.

Captain Huang looked at it, and gave Fang Pingying an incredulous glance before breaking into a smile. "So it turns out Sister Fang is the owner of the newly opened supermarket in the city, my apologies for the oversight."

Fang Pingying glanced at this young man who addressed her as Sister, also smiling, "Then thank you, Xiao Huang, for today’s help. If you have time, feel free to come visit."

"Of course, definitely, definitely," agreed Captain Huang, then immediately added with a smile, "Sister Fang, just call me Xiaohu from now on; Captain sounds too awkward."

Having settled things with Huang Xiaohu, Fang Pingying shouted for Fang Xiu to leave with her.

Zhou Yunmei and Xu He, who were in the inner room, initially thought that Fang Pingying wouldn’t actually let someone take Zhou Yunmei away; it was just a scare tactic, perhaps even a ploy to plead on Zhou Yunmei’s behalf with the police behind the scenes.

"I won’t go to jail." Zhou Yunmei, realizing that she might indeed be facing imprisonment, tried to run again, but was stopped. She reached out to grab Xu He, pleading, "Xu He, go find Zhiyong, have Zhiyong save me, I can’t go to jail."
