"What do you want?" Jiang Xue coldly looked at the women in front of her, her gaze icy. She hated trouble, but she wasn’t afraid of it. Moreover, this was the kind of trouble that came to her voluntarily. If it wasn’t resolved properly, it would only become more troublesome in the future.

"Drink these few glasses of wine, and we’ll forgive you. Otherwise, don’t blame us for being rude," one of the women spoke, pointing to the drinks on the bar beside her.

Jiang Xue glanced at the bar following the woman’s gesture, a faint look on her face. The drinks were stacked layer upon layer into a small mountain. These women actually expected her to finish all those drinks; they really had a high opinion of her.

However, if they thought their numbers could bully her, they were underestimating her. Jiang Xue would take anything except for a loss.

If these people intended to bully her, then they shouldn’t blame her for returning the favor.

"And if I refuse?" Jiang Xue’s expression darkened slightly, her gaze was icy as she looked at the women. She didn’t know if what they just said was true, but she could see they were deliberately causing trouble for her.

She just didn’t know whether these people were sent by Ming Lan or if they were indeed Ouyang Yi’s fanatical followers.

If they were merely Ouyang Yi’s fans, it would be one thing, but if Ming Lan had arranged this, then they were enemies. She wouldn’t show mercy to enemies.

The women looked at Jiang Xue’s stubbornness, their expressions turning sour. They exchanged glances, then stepped forward and surrounded Jiang Xue.

"What, you’re planning to make a move here?" Jiang Xue said with amusement, looking at these women disdainfully.

She didn’t mind a confrontation here; after all, most people around didn’t know her. However, these women obviously often mingled in such venues and knew many people. Once they embarrassed themselves, they’d become a laughingstock.

Sure enough, upon hearing Jiang Xue’s words, the women’s expressions changed. The one more familiar with the location said, "This isn’t a good place to fight; I know a small garden behind the hotel."

She then looked at Jiang Xue and asked, "Do you dare come along with us?"

"Why wouldn’t I?" Jiang Xue casually replied. Although the other side had strength in numbers, and this was unfamiliar territory to her, she still wanted to know what they intended to do to her.

If it came to a brawl, who hit who wasn’t certain. The concerning matter was if Ming Lan was secretly scheming something. However, if she didn’t try, how would she uncover any of Ming Lan’s tricks?

To say the least, Jiang Xue’s courage was considerable. Knowing this was Ming Lan’s territory, knowing she was likely being plotted against, she still followed those women out.

Seeing Jiang Xue’s fearless demeanor, the women regarded her more highly. However, remembering their instructions, they had to put on stern faces again.

The group left the hall and headed towards the small garden.

After a short time, the leader stopped and said, "This is the place."

Jiang Xue looked at the small garden in front of her, the lighting dim, the shadows of trees swaying. If one wasn’t careful, they might not notice several people hiding. This was indeed a great place for an ambush.

Jiang Xue was aware of this, but she feigned a frightened expression on her face, asking, "Why did you bring me here? What do you want to do?"

"Weren’t you quite brave just now? How come you’re scared now?" Seeing Jiang Xue showing fear, one of the women started taunting.
