Chapter 489 - 406: Unfortunately, the Son Woke Up

Li Si and Leng Mochen returned home and finally managed to coax Buding to sleep in his crib.

Leng Mochen gazed at his beautiful wife with eyes full of fire. Her flawless skin under the light was extraordinarily exquisite, and the tender emotion in her sparkling eyes almost made him instantly transform into a certain wolf and pounce on her.

With his immense self-control, he restrained himself. If he calculated it, the two hadn’t been intimate in almost half a year.

Both his body and soul intensely craved that harmonious union, but he wanted to give her a gentle and beautiful night.

Too rushed or too rough would hurt her fragile self.

The two stared deeply into each other’s eyes for a long time, then suddenly he moved, pressing a kiss to the corner of her lips. Like a spark igniting a prairie fire, Li Si immediately felt her body weaken and her breath scatter.

After a whirlwind of passion, the two entered into the blissful release they had longed for...

Afterward, Li Si was so exhausted that she didn’t even have the strength to speak. This guy was really like a hungry wolf—he finally got hold of a piece of meat and refused to let go no matter what!

When she finally managed to clean up, she closed her eyes, wanting nothing more than to sleep.

But certain people wouldn’t let it rest, still brimming with excitement and refusing to sleep—acting as a manual breast pump one moment, poking here and there the next.

She was unbearably tired, knowing she’d need to get up in the middle of the night for another feeding. She couldn’t handle his antics!

"I beg of you, please? Let me sleep for a while!" Her voice, slightly hoarse from earlier yelling, sounded even more alluring to his ears.

He lovingly yet forcefully took her already swollen lips into his mouth again, and only after kissing his fill did he finally relent, saying generously, "Alright, little one! I’ll spare you this time!"

He knew he had been a bit relentless, but after abstaining for so long, how could a mere handful of moments suffice?

He had been holding back his "rationed goods" for half a year! No way could it end here—he couldn’t restrain himself in the end!

Li Si lamented, completely drained: "I’m so tired! My back hurts so much! My lips are so swollen!"

She just wanted sleep! She just wanted sleep! She just wanted sleep! She emphasized it three times to make her point.

He pulled her head into his arms, holding her firmly, and kissed her forehead, whispering gently, "Alright! Alright! Don’t move! I won’t bother you anymore, okay? Sleep tight, my darling!"

"Mm!" Li Si finally drifted into a satisfied slumber afterward.

Leng Mochen, however, didn’t sleep. He softly caressed her cheek with his fingers, his inner fires still not completely extinguished, forcing himself to slowly calm down.

When Li Si opened her eyes again, the daylight poured from the window, and miraculously, Buding hadn’t woken all night!

She sat up in delight and looked toward the crib where her son lay sleeping soundly in a sprawling "starfish" pose. She was absolutely ecstatic.

Counting on her fingers, from last night until now, the little one had slept for a full nine hours without waking!

Leng Mochen, groggy from sleep, watched her grin like a little miser and couldn’t help chuckling at how radiant she looked.

"Why are you chuckling so early in the morning, sweetheart?"

Li Si shot him a sharp glare. The moment she got up, she felt achy all over, thanks to him!

"Our son didn’t wake all night! Isn’t it okay for me to be happy about that?"

"Of course it’s okay! Absolutely okay! The little one really cooperated with us! Since he hasn’t woken, shouldn’t we use this morning to do some exercise? Hmm!" Leng Mochen figured a morning round could do them both some good.

Morning exercise keeps the energy flowing!

Li Si bravely swatted away his hand. "Get away! Do you want to wear me out completely? Haven’t you heard of restraint?"

Just as Leng Mochen attempted to plead for more, Buding woke up, probably feeling discomfort from his soaked diaper, and cried loudly, wailing at the top of his lungs.

Li Si playfully poked him on the nose: "Too bad—our son woke up!"

Buding, still unaware that he’d interrupted his father’s plans, beamed widely with his baby gums after having his diaper changed clean, giggling innocently at his dad.

Leng Mochen couldn’t stay annoyed with him at all! Now what could he do? This was his dear firstborn, after all. But if now wasn’t the right time, it didn’t mean tonight wasn’t...

Li Si felt that the intense gaze following her was absolutely scorching.

"Hurry up and take a shower! Don’t you have a meeting later?" Li Si quickly tried to change the subject to remind him.

They had just returned to the country, and there were piles of things waiting for him to handle. How could he have so much leisure to dawdle here?

After the wedding, they had planned to take Buding to Bali for their honeymoon, so all the work needed to be finished ahead of time.

Mo Si International Furniture was set to open in mid-August, and there wasn’t just a little to be done; there was a massive workload.

The other day, she overheard Su Meng mentioning that he and Brother Wu were planning to set up an Antique Street, adding even more tasks to his plate.

Leng Mochen intentionally kissed the corner of her lips. "I don’t want to go to the company! I just want to hold you close and sleep until we lose track of time!"

"Is that kind of ’sleeping’ just about sleeping?" She couldn’t help but tease him—did he think she hadn’t noticed certain unmistakable changes in him?

Clearly, he had mischief brewing in his mind! Ah, even her aching lower back was a testimony to that.

"You understand me well! After eating vegetarian for so long, how can I settle for just one serving of meat?" He leaned close to her ear deliberately. "Were you satisfied last night?"

Feeling flushed from the heat at her ear, she gently pushed him away. "Quit it!"

"Come on, tell me! Were you satisfied or not?" He pressed incessantly, body language suggesting he wouldn’t let go until she admitted it.

"Satisfied! Very satisfied! Okay now?" She reluctantly shouted this in her attempts to escape his persistence, and then blushed deeply at her own declaration.

"Alright, I’ll let you go! I’ll try to return sooner tonight!"

"Mm! Now stop talking—look, our son’s watching us!"

Buding giggled from his crib, staring at his parents joking and laughing above him. Feeling awkward under her son’s innocent gaze, Li Si quickly handed over the rattle to Buding to distract him while he played on his own.

After finishing breakfast, Li Si saw Leng Mochen off at the door. Once she tidied herself up briefly, she got busy with Sister Ding organizing Buding’s things—for today was their scheduled visit to the early education center.

A female teacher there was particularly fond of Buding, always greeting him enthusiastically after his swim and trying to make him laugh.

Buding, too, loved that teacher. He grinned non-stop whenever he interacted with her!

To her surprise, Li Si bumped into Zhang Shan, who had brought Mo Mo along to the same early education center today.

Zhang Shan’s expression grew very awkward upon seeing Li Si.

After receiving Li Si’s hint that day, she truly had gone searching with her uncle and aunt, but trying to find anyone near Beijing wasn’t an easy task.

Ultimately, they had come up empty-handed and made no progress.

Zhang Shan had wanted to ask a few more questions, but she hesitated, especially thinking about her husband Qiao An—she dismissed the idea entirely.

Why should she risk offending Li Si and her husband over someone like Zhang Yao and start unnecessary quarrels with her own spouse?

Initially, Qiao An had no idea about the many complexities involved until Zhang Shan’s uncle and aunt visited him, tearfully laying out their grievances, giving him a fragmented understanding of the situation.

Being a businessman, Qiao An had a keen sense of what should and shouldn’t be pursued. (To be continued.
