Just before the call was about to be automatically disconnected by the system, Lily Turner answered the phone. But before she could speak, Alice Turner on the other end had already started talking, "Is it inconvenient for you to talk right now?"
Lily Turner’s state when answering the phone wasn’t very normal. Unable to see her, Alice Turner assumed that it might not be convenient for her to speak right then.
"It’s fine, I’m at home alone right now."
Lily Turner truthfully informed her about her situation here. As soon as Alice Turner spoke, Lily knew that her sister had something to say to her.
"You’re home alone? Which home? Your apartment?" Upon learning that Lily Turner was home alone, Alice Turner’s emotions suddenly became agitated, her voice thick with worry and tension.
Although separated by the phone, Lily Turner deeply sensed Alice Turner’s tension and worry. At first, she didn’t understand what was going on, but upon hearing the words "which home," she suddenly realized.

"His mother just has some misunderstandings about me, given time, she’ll understand me."
