"Mrs. Qi, you’re being shameless," Li Yuan said, staring at her smug expression. He hated that he couldn’t just grab her by the head and push it right back down.
"You can’t just stop halfway through something," Li Yuan lectured. "You have to see it through to the end."
"Hmph! Who the hell knows how long it would take for you to ’spit out’ your inspiration. No, thank you," Qi Siyu scoffed, her legs aching from crouching.
The position was uncomfortable. Just as she was about to stand, a sudden, loud knocking echoed from the door.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
Qi Siyu flinched, her flushed face instantly turning pale with fright. "Li Yuan, hurry! Fix your clothes! Someone’s here!" she urged in a panic.
The sudden knock had startled Li Yuan as well. He abruptly remembered that he hadn’t locked the door. This is an office, not my home. I came here on business, so there was no reason to lock it. Panicked, Li Yuan yanked up his pants, shoving the mighty Great Sage Equalling Heaven back into its crystal palace.
Just then, the office door swung open. A smiling, medium-height man walked in. He wore a light blue Chen Sha shirt, and his hair was slicked back to a perfect shine. "Siyu, it’s almost time to get off work. I found a new Japanese restaurant—"
His voice cut off abruptly when he saw Li Yuan sitting brazenly in the office.
Peng Cheng’s brow furrowed. "And you are?"
Interrupted and startled, Li Yuan was already fed up with the slick-haired man who had just appeared. He had no intention of speaking to him. Seeing Li Yuan’s sullen mood, Qi Siyu—her cheeks still flushed with an afterglow—quickly changed the subject. "Director Peng, this is one of my students. Is there something you need?"
Peng Cheng stared intently at Li Yuan and asked again, "Siyu, this is your student?"
"Yes," she replied, her expression a little bashful. This first-year university student just gave me quite a lesson.
Peng Cheng heard this and studied Li Yuan for a moment. He looked vaguely familiar, but Peng Cheng couldn’t quite place him. As the youngest associate professor in Daxia University’s Physics Department, he rarely browsed online forums, followed celebrities, or read gossip news. When he saw her flash a flirtatious smile at Li Yuan, a surge of distaste and hostility toward the student rose within him.
Qi Siyu looked back at Peng Cheng and said coolly, "I’m fine, Director Peng. Did you need something?"
Peng Cheng shot Li Yuan an annoyed look, finding him to be an absolute eyesore. Does this kid have no situational awareness? Why hasn’t he excused himself and left yet? He glared at Li Yuan, pointedly trying to signal him to leave, but Li Yuan acted as if he didn’t understand. He just sat there with a faint smile, not moving a muscle.
Li Yuan cursed the slick-haired man inwardly. Where did this son of a bitch come from, ruining my good time? And he wants me to leave? How the hell am I supposed to walk out of here in this state? The Great Sage Equalling Heaven, with his full Six God Armament, was just about to display his divine might, and now I have to sheathe the weapon before it’s even begun? This is beyond frustrating!

His constant, daily inquiries about her well-being, and the way he’d even started acting like her "boyfriend," were incredibly aggravating to her.
Annoyed as she was, Qi Siyu still replied politely, "I’m sorry, Director Peng, but I already have plans tonight. Perhaps another time."
