Chapter 524 - 520: Find a Way to Take Everything
Chapter 524 - 520: Find a Way to Take Everything
The young girl on the opposite side choked again and then looked around at the broken space, her expression becoming agitated.
"Ah, it’s all your fault. You’ve messed up this space so much. How am I going to live here in the future?"
Xia Feng noticed her attempt to change the subject and didn’t expose her, instead following along with her words: "Then just go out and live."
"The God Burial Valley is such a large space, and this Divine Hall is so dilapidated that it doesn’t even have oil lamps. Find another place to live then."
The young girl rolled her eyes and kicked him: "Do you think everything is as simple as you say?"
"You have no idea about the rules inside the God Burial Valley. You just barged into this Divine Hall recklessly."
Xia Feng paused, not explaining that it was the Jiu Wu Dragon who opened a backdoor for him and admitted it along with her words.
"So, do you know what’s in this Divine Hall, behind these three portals?"
Xia Feng looked toward the three portals across from him. The surrounding space already showed signs of complete collapse, yet the three portals remained unaffected, with no indication of what lay behind them.
Xia Feng scratched his chin and then shifted his gaze to the young girl beside him.
"Since you said you can’t leave this Divine Hall, you’ve been here for quite a while, right?"
"Do you know what’s behind these doors? How can you get all three things?"
The young girl scrutinized Xia Feng for a moment, then scratched her hair in puzzlement: "Ew, the energy on you seems really mixed."
"So many Daos, and I can even feel some annoying demonic qi mixed in. Why does the door to the Divine Hall open for you?"
Hearing her assessment, Xia Feng’s face twitched slightly, his expression a bit speechless: "What exactly do you know?"
The young girl furrowed her brows, thinking for a long while without answering, and Xia Feng lost his patience, stepping forward and placing one hand on the door, as if trying to sense what was behind it.
The girl’s eyes twirled around for a bit before she snorted, "Don’t bother wasting your time. There’s no way you can get all three inheritances."
Xia Feng raised an eyebrow, adding a bit of the Great Dao of Space onto his Heaven-Burying Sword, which made the girl tremble and quickly explain.
"You... "
"No, no, I’ll say it! Behind the three doors are an ancient divine artifact, an attack technique, and some insight inheritance of ancient gods."
Xia Feng paused, his eyes naturally drifting to the last portal, with an inexplicable feeling telling him that behind that portal was the insight inheritance of the ancient gods.
He had the Heaven-Burying Sword in his hand and several attack techniques. What he needed most now was insight inheritance to enhance his understanding of several other Daos.
So Xia Feng didn’t think twice and pressed his hand against the last portal, attempting to push it open.
A laugh from the girl couldn’t be suppressed from behind: "Pfft, hahaha, you don’t really think you can push this door open, do you?"
"Haven’t you noticed? Although the three doors look the same, the knocking sounds differ. This is the inheritance of a great power of the Sound Dao."
Xia Feng was momentarily stunned; although he also cultivated the Great Dao of Demon Sound, he hadn’t thought along those lines at all.
He hesitated for a moment, then turned to ask the girl: "How do you open this door?"
The girl gave a particularly idealistic answer: "Use your Sound Dao to move this portal."
Xia Feng’s face twitched again, momentarily questioning what was wrong with his mind to ask such a question to a young girl.
He didn’t say anything and turned to continue studying the portal, the Great Dao of Demon Sound already emerging in his hand.
The girl leaned her head over: "Hmm, such a shallow layer of Sound Dao. You can’t even open the weakest door in this situation..."
Before her confident words were finished, a light layer of frost had appeared on the portal, directly connecting to Xia Feng’s palm.
The girl’s mouth dropped open, and she instinctively said, "That’s impossible. This hasn’t even reached the minimum standard of assessment..."
Mid-sentence, it seemed she thought of something, looking at Xia Feng with a subtle expression, as if recalling an ancient legend.
The comprehension from the portal was exceptionally vast; Xia Feng, wary of the girl behind him, didn’t dare to delve deeply, withdrawing his mind after a shallow understanding.
Xia Feng frowned at the young girl behind him, unsure of how to handle her.
Although she initially caused him some trouble, she had been quite obedient since showing up, even helping him solve a bit of doubt. Calling her a contributor wouldn’t be an exaggeration.
But even so, Xia Feng didn’t dare to trust this cunning little girl and could only think of a way to deal with her.
The young girl raised an elegant eyebrow, seemingly aware of his thoughts, and spoke first: "I already said I have no way to leave this Divine Hall."
She licked her lips, her face suddenly showing a bit of a cunning typically found in adults: "I know you don’t trust me and want to comprehend the Dao here alone."
"Why don’t we make a deal?"
Xia Feng’s expression showed some confusion as he asked, "What deal?"
When the girl heard Xia Feng respond, her face grew more expectant: "I’ll tell you how to take all the things inside these three doorways, and how about you take me out?"
"Just take me out of the range of this Divine Hall."
Xia Feng, pretending not to be tempted, was lying; he very much wanted the new ancient divine artifact and attack technique too.
But he didn’t know if he could trust this young girl.
The girl seemed aware of Xia Feng’s concerns, her expression growing slightly anxious. If he was truly the legendary child of the Celestial Mandate, even if she didn’t remind him, he would soon realize the key to it.
If that happened, she would have no reason to have Xia Feng take her out.
Thinking this, the girl gritted her teeth and explained the method to Xia Feng first to show her sincerity.
"Do you happen to have an immense space that can bring others into it?"
Xia Feng’s eyes suddenly grew wary; the existence of the Dream Realm Pearl was only known to those closest to him. How could a stray soul suddenly reveal the biggest secret within his body?
The young girl’s face showed some urgency: "Don’t worry about how I know; that space can take this Divine Hall out."
Xia Feng’s expression remained somewhat skeptical: "If you truly know about that thing, then you should know that what you’re suggesting is impossible."
