Chapter 702: Viola (End) Part IV

Chapter 702: Viola (End) Part IV

“Focus, dummy! Wake up! You still have a mission to complete, right? How can this little thing stop you? You’re Vincent! Wake up! Wake up! WAKE UP!”

A slap after a slap and Wisana did not seem to be responding.

His face was so red and bruised. Nuchjaree’s hands started to hurt. She panted heavily. Her face did not look well. No matter how hard she hit him, there was no reaction from him at all.

“Let me try it, Nuch.”

Tunwa was not giving up. He had Nuchjaree replace him.

He crouched in front of Wisana before he cracked his finger knuckles with an evil smile.

“Auntie, it’s better for you to close your eyes since I don’t think you’ll like it,” Tunwa said. “You, too, Na. Grit your teeth.”

Pow!!

This time, it was not a palm, but a fist that punched Wisana in his face. The redness on his cheek was even clearer now.

“Wake up, Na! This isn’t your bed. When do you plan on slacking off? Don’t you see everyone’s doing his best?!”

Pow!!

And another punch was thrown at him. Viola could only cover her face.

“I thought you promised that you’ll come to me when you have problems? You promised that we’ll never hide anything from each other. What are you worrying about now? Why don’t you talk to me?!”

Pow!!

“Stop being so sly and wake up, you idiot! Wake up to us! Your mom, me, Nuch, Nam, May, everyone needs you. You can’t just take a nap now, bastard!!!”

Pow!!

The last punch was so hard that Tunwa dropped onto Wisana’s chest. He panted heavily. It was useless no matter how many punches he threw. The two teenagers looked at each other hopelessly.

“How is it, Alice?” Viola asked.

“The Signetic has gone down significantly, but it seems like the brain refuses to wake up. We must hurry. The organization wouldn’t want to wait any longer and would make him go offline soon.”

“..Damn it!”

Viola swore.

Crash!!!

The explosion was so loud that everyone had to turn their head.

It was clear that even Sven and Sander together could not withstand Lucius’s true potential. They could only stall time.

“Wait, Nuch... That’s...?”

Tunwa cried out and pointed at the battle.

Other than Sander and Sven, there were two other small figures doing their best to take down Lucius.

“That’s... Kong?” Nuch raised her eyebrow.

“And that kid...” Tunwa recalled that the other kid was the one who charged at Kong when he was fighting Miguel. “...I think his name’s Akkee.”

Seeing that, Tunwa was happy that the youngest member of the guild was still alive. Yet, the problem was that even though there were two more fighters, Lucius still fought like they were nothing. He even sped everything up as if to end the battle as fast as he could.

“It’s no use. Lucius now... I don’t even think I can’t take him.”

Viola shook her head hopelessly.

She looked at her son, who was still irresponsive as if his heart had been fractured. It was a kind of pain that a mother like her could only cover her mouth and cry in silence.

“...Auntie...”

“Don’t give up just yet, auntie. Na will definitely wake up.”

The two kids tried to encourage her. Even so, Viola could only realize her desperation and weakness. Not only Wisana who was confused, but she was also the same.

If everything crumbled down now, everything she had done would be in vain.

But if she did not do anything, her son would be gone forever.

...No.

A little voice of refusal echoed in her mind along with flashes of memories...

Her little son grew up strongly and called her mom for the past twenty years, even though she had created so many mental wounds for him since when he could not even learn to talk...

No. She did not want to lose him like how she lost Winter.

She would not let anyone she loved leave her anymore!!

“Alice... M... Make him go offline.”

Viola said with a serious facial expression. Tunwa and Nuchjaree were worried. They knew what being offline would do to him and nothing was good.

“...So, you’ve decided to go that path.”

Alice said. Viola halted.

...Yes, this was the best option. If he was not dead, there must be another way after this.

“Mhmm... I confirm my order. Put Wisana on offline...”

“Wait.”

Before Viola could finish her sentence, a familiar sweet voice interfered. They glanced at the back and saw two women standing not so far away from them.

One was the chief of staff of Pandora, Emwika. She was without any injury. Yet, who she was carrying was the opposite. She was covered with wounds. Her cheerful face had gone from her.

“May?” Tunwa was shocked. “W... Why are you like that? Are you okay? And Why are you with Pandora’s chief of staff?”

Emwika sighed softly.

“I revived her,” Emwika said. “As for Ms. Waree and Mr. Shindanai, Angela, the genius sorcerer, is trying to revive them right now.”

They leaned out and saw that Angie was busy searching for reviving items in the midst of the aerial battle. She looked like she was a soldier in training.

“From the look of it, Lucius’s so strong that we don’t even know that we can’t take him. If we lose Mr. Vincent...”

Emwika struggled to speak since she was also in shock to know that her guild leader was dead. And that it was Lucius who killed him.

“Don’t put him on offline, auntie...”

Maysa slowly sat down wearily. She glanced at Viola and did not say anything anymore. She was not even surprised that Baron had been Viola all along.

“Tun.”

Tunwa made way for her to move closer to Wisana. She looked so nonchalant unlike the others, yet her hands were shaking so much. She put her hands on Wisana’s cheeks gently.

Slap!!

Suddenly, she slapped him, startling everyone. It looked like it was even harder than Tunwa’s punch!

“Who gave you permission to run away, huh, Wisana?!” Maysa yelled at him. “Just this little problem and you can’t take it already?! If yes, I’m very disappointed in you, Wisana. You... You’re stronger than this. S... So, please...”

Then, she buried her face in Wisana’s chest. What she had been holding in was released.

She cried so loudly while hitting him in the chest.

“..P... Please wake up. Come back to me, please, Wisana. You promised that you’ll protect me, right? You promised that no matter what happens, you’ll fight it, right?”

Maysa was trembling. No one knew what to say. They all looked awkward. Viola closed her eyes.

“Alice, do what I said.”

“W... Wait, there’s a reaction.”

“What?”

Viola narrowed her eyes. She looked at her son again and saw that his eyes were moving. The pupils started to dilate.

“The brain wave is back to normal. The dead cells start to fix themselves.”

Viola smiled again.

Then, the man’s arms which had been by his sides the whole time started to react. They were raised up. Only Maysa was unaware of them.

Before she cried more, his arms were wrapped around her. His lips parted and let out a harsh sigh. His amber eyes blinked several times.

“Why are you crying, beautiful?”
