Chapter 503: Versus ‘Gaia’ and ‘Poseidon’ (2) Part IV
“Master!!”
Jinnie shouted aloud as those amber eyes widened. Certainly, the tall man moved aside to dodge the attack of Poseidon’s tentacles turbulently. Some of those tentacles missed him by just a few inches, and some left scratch wounds on him.
Compared to the earlier. Poseidon’s attack right now was a lot scarier. Clearly, the enemy had just taken the fight seriously for the first time. Moreover, when he looked at the blue-haired man’s face, Wisana just knew right away that the guy was messing around!!
“HAHAHAHA your movements are even better than I expected. But what are you going to do now, Vincent? Keep running like a cockroach?”
The provoking made those amber eyes narrow down a little.
“I don’t know who you are, but don’t underestimate me too much!”
The tall man dodged another attack to the side. Then he decided to go straight at the enemies. His mouth was moving like he was casting a spell.
“Please don’t, Master. Those two aren’t a match for us.”
“Quiet. I got this!”
The Symbol of Thunder
I call for all 200 lightning spirits. Please be my spear’s blade, piercing my wicked enemy through!
Spirit Carnival!
After the spell was cast, a magic circle appeared behind Wisana right away. A second later. Many light beams flew out of the circle intensely. They were green beams with flashes of lightning blasting around violently.
“Whoa, the ability to summon lightning spirits, huh? Not bad, not bad at all.” The pointing-haired man said with a big smile. “But it’s such a shame. Magic doesn’t work on us.”
After his words, those magic spirits that were flying at Poseidon suddenly turned away from the target in a way that made Wisana widen his eyes. He had ordered the lightning spirits that he summoned to attack Poseidon, but somehow, they just did not.
“... That’s crazy.”
Because Gaia was the one who was sucking the magic energy to herself. So, those lightning spirits decided to launch themselves at Gaia instead. However, when they hit the goddess of earth, they just disappeared like they did not even exist before, without any damage done.
“She absorbed the attack?” Wisana whispered with a shocked face.
“I’m sorry, Vincent.” The pointing-haired man spoke. “But every kind of magic attack in Gaia’s vision range will get absorbed in, because Gaia is a goddess with the best armor for both physical and magical attacks. So, this will be a bit tough, Mister Hero.”
Hearing these words, Wisana widened his eyes. He looked over to Gaia and really saw that the goddess with a body made of stone stood still, while she was sucking his lightning spirits in her mouth!
“This is not funny at all.” Wisana smiled wryly.
“Also, Vincent,” The man with blue hair smiled softly. “It seems like a game-over now.”
Before realizing it, his amber eyes were looking around in panic, because those trident tentacles of Poseidon had multiplied to hundreds of them already. Plus, each one of them was pointing at him in every direction, blocking his escape totally.
“Disappointing. Allen and Nero never stopped praising how good your skills were. But actually, you can’t even control your Signetic fluently.” He sighed after speaking. “Alright then, we’re just going to claim the key of the Forbidden now, Vincent.”
WHOOSH!!
After his words, the tentacles flew at the tall man who was surrounded in the air instantly. Wisana did not think about flying away. He knew well enough that it would be just useless. In a situation like this, he needed to rely on his instinct as much as possible.
Just a few movements could help him make it out alive!!
Wisana managed to dodge the attack from every direction by bending away a little. Hundreds of tentacles were rushing at him like sharp spears. Attack after attack made Wisana grind his teeth, because the more it hit, the faster Poseidon’s attack got.
Wounds started showing on his body. Even though he only got scratched, so no serious damage was done to him, that was still enough to slow him down anyway.
“Master!!” Jinnie shouted resoundingly.
“Damn it. I can’t handle it! There’re too many!!”
The man clenched his jaws. The attacks around him were pulling him to the checkmate point. It was right there where three tentacles with trident blades flew in front of him, leaving him no space to move anymore!
“Goodbye for good now, Vincent.”
“Are you sure about that, Aaron!!!?”
BOOM!!!
1,568,788!!
The immense damage popped up with an extreme explosion that blew Poseidon’s tentacles into pieces. An unidentified red-black beam was flying in out of nowhere. But there was something that was for sure, its attack could knock the god of the sea back down on the sea!
“What’s that?” Wisana yelled.
“Did you wait here for so long? Your master has come to save you now!”
The cheerful voice shouted with a large black dragon spreading its wings and roaring out resoundingly. Wisana glanced over and curled up a happy smile when he saw the master of magic warrior class riding the black dragon with bright red eyes.
Sarquros
“Father!”
Shortly after that, a little girl flew to Wisana. Mona Lisa had a panicked face when she saw her father’s condition. She hurriedly checked up on the wound which was a big hole in his stomach.
“You’re hurt. Why didn’t Sister heal you?”
She glanced over to Jinnie, who was floating beside Wisana with an exhausted face.
“I’ve got paralyzed. I’m sorry.”
“Even Sister got beaten, too?” Mona Lisa shouted in shock.
“Hey, kid, try carrying some HP generation items next time, will you?”
Sander flew on Sarquros to Wisana’s beaten-up body, then tossed him a golden seed. And Wisana knew right away that it was a ‘Seed of Eden,’ an item that could restore HP for the user in full.
“What took you so long? And what’s happening over there, Master?” Wisana asked.
“Let’s talk about that later. But right now, you can’t fight them by yourself. So let this pretty dragon help you with that, too.”
After his words, Sarquros leaned her head closer to snuggle Wisana’s arm, making the man gasp as he could not make head or tail of it. He reached to touch the dragon’s face, before turning to frown his brows at the master.
“Anyway, Master, what are those things exactly?” He asked.
“I’ll explain later. Let’s just say that they are one of our worst enemies.” Sander smiled a little. “I’m gonna send those two’s ability details to you. What you should focus on is how to kill them. First, we need to get out of here, and another thing you should know, their target is your AI girl.”
Sander pointed to Jinnie who was clinging to Wisana’s shoulder to the back. She did not say anything, while her eyes were staring at Sander as if she was implying something to him. Meanwhile, Wisana could only widen his eyes confusedly, looking back and forth between these two in confusion.
“What do you mean by that? Why do they want Jinnie? I’m so confused right now, Master.”
“I’ll tell you later.” Sander cut him right off. “Alice.”
The last word was someone’s name that Sander called out like he was about to make a command.
“Alice?”
