Chapter 352: Viola and Winter Part IV

Chapter 352: Viola and Winter Part IV

“But like I said, ‘only’ Taekwondo that I can’t beat you.”

“Huh?”

His mother knitted her eyebrows together, surprised that he was still smiling in a situation like that. It was a smile that did not look like Wisana’s at all, but it looked like one of those berserkers.

Those who were obsessed with battles.

How long had he been like this?

“But with something else, I might have a chance, right?”

After his words, the tall one launched himself at his mother at the fastest speed she had ever seen he did. Wimon gasped her lips a little with surprise as she barely got back in a ready-to-fight position in time. She did not even think that her son would be able to approach her that fast.

In the blink of an eye, he got into attack range. Wisana stretched his leg backward quickly, getting ready to kick her in the ribs without hesitation. However, his mother saw that coming, so she held her guard up in defense.

“Too soon.”

The young man curled up a smile. He drew that foot back to his body, changing the kicking into the position of shoving it out to his front. That made his mother widen her eyes.

“A trick?!”

She shouted when her son who was going to kick her ribs suddenly changed the attack into a side kick instead just like that!

That was not bad at all. A smile came across her face, even though this attack was still one of Taekwondo moves. And it was still too weak since she could read his whole movements in the first place!

“Amateur.”

She spoke up softly, changing her guard position from where her foot was pointed at him to turning the side of it to him instead. And if Wisana kicked her now, it would be the end of him instantly, because she could lock his ankle in her hands and blend it to make him give up in the blink of an eye!

“Are you sure?”

But instead of side kicking her, he used that leg to support himself on the floor, before using the other leg to attack her in an unusual move where he drew that leg up above her head and cast it down. It was a harsh and the most accurate kick in the head!

“Double tricks?!”

BOOM!

The kick did not miss. Wimon took her son’s attack so well that it knocked her down to the ground. Luckily for her, she could hold her hands up to defend against the attack in time before she was directly hit, or she would have been unconscious by now!

Wisana was standing still. He just looked down at his mother. There was not the slightest thought of attacking her more. Maybe that was because the most dangerous time was when Ms. Wimon was down. If he made a little mistake while getting closer to her, he probably would be pulled to the ground with arms or ankles being held to make him lose again.

Obviously, he could never defeat her with Taekwondo techniques. But with speed and strength was a whole new thing!

It did not take long before the smaller one started standing up slowly.

She held her slender hand up to wipe those plumped lips that were curling up into a satisfied smile.

“TUD!” She spat some blood out. “That’s not bad, Wisana. Your movements have become sharper while you are gone. Especially how you make decisions in the blink of an eye, that’s remarkably improved as well.”

Her son just smiled back at her, before exhaling to reduce the pressure.

“Well, I’ve kind of got a place to practice that.”

He said, sounding unbothered. Meanwhile, his mother was smiling widely, holding her two hands out in front of her to stretch her muscles.

“Is that so?”

She just gave him a smile in reply, before tilting her head down. Her two arms were back to the side of her body like she was gathering her focus as much as she could.

“I wasn’t expecting you to improve this much, Wisana. A part of me feels glad that the training I’ve been giving you since you were a little kid, can be this effective, but the other part...”

She stopped her sentence there, before becoming quiet.

“Mom?”

But there was no word coming from her. Wimon just took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Her eyes shut close afterward, and her lips did not have a smile on anymore.

Her son was really grown up.

The sign was truly clear that she could not help but feel appalled.

Finally, it was time that he had to...

“Mom?” Wisana called her again with concern. “Is your head still feeling dizzy? If you’re not okay, I think we should stop here. I was getting too into it and got carried away earlier.”

Wimon was still standing quietly. However, those amber eyes were slowly opening again. They looked tense in a way that Wisana had never seen before.

“Oops!”

Suddenly, his head hurt as something in his brain was rushing harshly, making every sense in his body alert like he got electric shocks. The feeling was like in the Pride world, when he met Shin or Lavi, no, ...this time was even two or three times more intense than that!

“What were you saying again?” Finally, she spoke up in an icy cold voice. “You got carried away earlier, so you attacked me a little bit too hard?”

Then she started laughing aloud, making Wisana flinch backward as his head stingingly hurt even more.

“You could attack me a couple of times and that makes you think you’re so good already, huh, kiddo.” She said, smiling widely. “You believe that just a fluke punch that hit the target for the first time in the past 20 years of yours could hurt me that bad? I think you’re being narcissistic here, Son.”

After speaking, she started hopping her foot work on the spot. Her two hands were flicking harshly like she was gathering all her strength back to her body.

“Brace yourself.”

Wimon spoke up again. The look in her eyes made it clear that the next attack from her would absolutely be the real one.

“Wait, Mom, hold on. Are you sure you’re okay now? I think you should...”

“Shut up.” She cut him off sharply. “Stop looking around. Get yourself together. Because if you’re too distracted, ...that could be your death, you know.”

WHUP!

The smaller one finished speaking, she approached Wisana so fast like she blinked in, making him widen his eyes.

Was this really the speed a person could do? It was as fast as one could in the Pride world!

“First off, a kick in the leg.”

“Huh?”

THUD!!

Right after her words, Wimon kicked her son’s leg with full strength. That made him crease his face out of pain, as he barely leaped back away from her.

However...

WHUP!

“Too slow.”

That was once again, Wimon followed him with the same speed. And that was a confirmation for Wisana that this speed was the fastest of her limit!

How was it possible?!

He might be able to go at the same speed if this were in the Pride.

But in the real world, it was just impossible.

“Don’t space out. This one is the chest.”

THUD!

She said as her pure fist was thrown at the center of her son’s chest, making him curl up like a shrimp.

What the heck was that punch? It was heavy like a log!

“Next is the back of your head.”
