Chapter 312: Dragon’s Blood Ceremony (1) Part IV

“Let me warn you something, Mister Vincent.”

It was not often for Lex to speak with a serious voice, and the tone he was using right now was the stiffest tone that Wisana had ever heard from this chill guy.

“I don’t mind you talking casually, or teasingly at all, but the woman we’re about to go meet isn’t the same.” Then he looked at Wisana with a serious look in his eyes. "With her, you don’t say something disrespectful or rude ever, or you can’t say that I didn’t warn you about this.”

“...”

Wisana did not say anything in reply, only staring back into Lex’s eyes steadily. Even an annoying guy like him changed his expression when he talked about the woman that they were about to meet, it seemed like they were about to meet one of the game’s celebrities today.

And it did not take long before there was a slight vibration on the ground, followed by a strange-looking object piercing out of the dirt, making Wisana jump. The object came in a square shape, and the more he looked at it, the more it looked like something familiar in daily life somehow.

“An elevator?” Wisana said with a surprised face.

“That’s right.” Lex’s face had been back to smiley like usual now. “It’s a shortcut for the dragon master class only. Normally, it’s not easy for other players to visit her. So, today is your lucky day, Mister Vincent.”

Hearing that, he knowingly looked Angie in the eyes.

“It seems like I’m about to meet another top-tier person probably,” Wisana said with a complete wry smile.

“I think so.” Angie agreed.

“So, don’t waste the time, you two. It’ll be rude to keep her waiting.”

And then Lex pressed the elevator button right away, before leading them in with the twins. Seeing that, Wisana followed them inside grudgingly as his brain started to think that this class was getting more and more mysterious.

The elevator’s door opened again after a moment passed. Five of them slowly and cautiously walked out. ...It was not that they were wary that something might come out, but they were minding their steps because where they were right now was so dark that they barely saw the surroundings. The only light they had was from the elevator which was slowly fading as the door shut close.

“Hey, Lex, did you forget to pay your electric bill or what? Why is it so dark here?”

“No, it’s not because of that.” The irritating one said with a delighted voice, before leading them forward. “It’s not like there’s no light here, but it’s just that she likes being in the dark. When there’s no visitor down here, she always keeps the light off.”

“Okay, but the thing is, I can’t see.”

Wisana said in an annoyed voice. One of his hands had to hold onto Angie because he was afraid that this sassy girl would clumsily trip over. And he was about to hold the other hand up to summon his magic marble out to create some source of light for them.

“Please don’t do that.”

But one of the twins who was supposed to be Thong Yip walked up to him and held his hand down.

“I wasn’t going to fire magic or anything, just wanted to create some light.” Wisana tried to explain, but Thong Yod shook her head at him.

“That would be even more inappropriate. Our mother doesn’t like any light to bother her when she’s sleeping. You also should not displease her, Mister Vincent.”

“Your mother?”

Wisana raised his eyebrows as he looked at the twins with shock.

“So, the one you’re taking me to see is actually the twins’ mother?”

Hearing the question, Lex, who was leading the way, slowed his pace and turned around to smile, which showed his white teeth glowing in the dark.

“Not just to Thong Yip and Thong Yod, but she’s also the mother of all the maids in my office. No, the mother of every dragon in the game, too. They’re all her children.”

“What is that supposed to mean?”

The listener even stopped walking as he did not catch up with any word Lex said. Unlike Angie, her eyebrows were knitting together.

But then, there were bright golden lights flashing up in the darkness in front of Wisana. He knew from the first glimpse that it was a pair of eyes, the eyes of some creature that was the biggest one that he had ever seen before!

“What’s that?!”

Wisana shouted aloud. He even let go of Angie’s hand and yanked his hand off Thong Yip’s to get ready to fight.

“Who’s come to interrupt my sleep?”

Before that was followed by a drawling voice of a woman that was echoing through the area. Those glowing eyes blinked a few times, before moving fast and straightly towards where Wisana’s group was standing.

He did not feel shocked or panicked.

But his brain told him that the creature in front of him was extremely dangerous. So, Wisana’s instinct fully kicked in, in a way that he had never felt before.

PROOOF!!

In the blink of an eye, the mad had summoned dozens of magic marbles out, causing the light to shine all over the area. Moreover, his other hand had already had a weapon in it, ready to attack completely!

“Don’t, Mister Vincent. She’s not an enemy!!”

Lex shouted aloud as he was shocked. He never thought that Wisana would be able to react this fast. And now it was too late to stop him, because the man who was known as Berserker, was about to turn himself into a full combat mode out of instinct!

“How dare you?!!!”

But he could not move any further when there was the sound of a woman growling out loud. Wisana’s weapon was knocked out of his hand easily, without anything even touching his hand. He could not be surprised for so long, and there was like a foot of something stepping on his back with a sound like,

THUD!!!

“Wisana!”

Angie shouted at the top of her lungs, but she could not help him, because she just survived getting stepped on like him in the nick of time. Meanwhile, the rest of them jumped away to evade that attack in different directions.

“Texela, stop!” Lex shouted resoundingly.

Hearing Lex’s shout, those gold, yellow eyes stopped moving for a moment. The dragon turned its eyes away from the human who dared interrupt its sleep and even dared turn a weapon against it as well.

“Who’s there, is that Lexiera?” The deep voice asked.

"Yes, it’s me, Lex. And that guy isn’t an enemy. He’s our class’s candidate.”

“A candidate...?”

That voice repeated with a raised voice before a ‘tch’ sound came up like it was displeased.

“If he’s a candidate, then I have to admit that this man’s so brave to draw a sword out in front of me like this.” It spoke as those golden yellow eyes moved closer to Wisana suddenly. “But that was not a smart move, boy. If I didn’t hear Lexiera’s voice, you would have been torn into pieces by now.”

“W ...what’s going on?”

The one who was being stepped on whined out with a soft voice. Even though he did not get injured by that at all, the weight of it still made him unable to move a muscle. Right after that, those amber-yellow eyes moved close enough for the light from the marble to shine upon it clearly.

And that was when the man’s eyes widened out of shock.

“You’ve got some guts, boy. The brave and crazy one like you is suitable to become a dragon warrior.”

The owner of the gentle voice was not a slim woman like he thought. She was a dragon, the one with a body around 20 meters long, he guessed. Her skin was shiny like gems and her long dragon face. She was a dragon that was beautiful for both her voice and look.

“A ...talking dragon?” Wisana spoke softly.

But that was all to make the white dragon burst out laughing echoingly like she was satisfied by the words and the manners of this male human in front of her quite a lot!

“You still haven’t lost your crap after you saw me like this, you’re so interesting, boy.” After speaking, the dragon leaned her face even closer. “And I’m not just a talking dragon, you little wet-ears brat. I’m the mother of all dragons in the world, I’m Texela, the white dragon, the great empress of dragons. So, you should be more careful about your words, little human.”
