If he was not overconfident that he would be able to evade attacks from enemies every time, he probably had some delusion that he could heal himself like the Wolverine!

“I think you should take some HP restoring items as well. For example, the seed of Eden restores both HP and MP in full. It increases every stat by 10% for 10 minutes as well.”

“Is that so...”

The one who got interrupted made a little regretful face because his plan about carrying the attack points potion only got rejected. He was reminded that he should care about his HP as well.

“Now, everyone, please proceed to choose your stats items from more than 200 types that we’ve prepared over there.”

He tried looking at the items with his arm crossed on his chest. He even tried to pick them up to read and study the properties on the back of the bottles. But with this air brain of his, Wisana started to feel like there was some smoke going out of his ears because his tiny little brain was burning from overworking.

The longer he looked at them, the more confused he became. And the more confused he became, the more stressed out he was!!

He glanced at Shin and saw him putting this and that in his inventory window fluently. Then Wisana made a snorting sound right away.

Using his brain was not his strong point, just like May said. ...It was better for a player like him to just counter enemies directly!

Thinking about it like this, the owner of the attractive face curled up a big smile instantly.

“I’d have 9 Magtiria potions and 1 seed of Eden, please.”

It was Rattana who was asking him from behind, making him turn and smile at her.

“Yes, Miss Anne.” He replied smilingly. “My motto is to kill them all before they can even get near me. And if I use that motto with any enemies, there’s no need to use those HP-restoring items at all.”

“Woah, you’re so cool, Mister Wisana. Just like how my prince should be!”

GM June yelled delightedly, before rushing to cling onto Wisana’s arm in the most unexpected way. And all he could do was just force a smile at her just to be polite, making Rattana shake her head and laugh amusedly.

“You never change, Mister Wisana. I feel like you’ll never try to control your crazy impulsiveness at all.”

Hearing that, the man gave her a bright smile, even though his arm was still hugged so tightly by June.

“If that’s a compliment, I’ll just accept it then.”

Rattana grinned sweetly at those words.

“I’m going to wait and see if whatever you’re planning to do is really that good. Come on, June, let’s not cling to him too much. We’ve got a lot of work to do.”

Then Rattana nodded at June, implying that she should hurry up and follow her now. And the junior GM could not help but frown a little, before looking up to catch Wisana’s eyes again.

“Do your best, Mister Wisana. I’ll be rooting for you. If you win the first place, I’m going to give you another special reward.”

And Wisana paused right after he heard that.

The same mess she had caused was not even cleaned up yet, and now she wanted to bring him another one?!!

“No, Miss June, I’m fine!” He hurriedly replied. “Don’t put too high expectations on me. I’m just a common player with nothing to be interested in.”

June grinned at that right away. She managed to cling to his arm tighter, and Wisana could now feel something ‘extremely soft’ pressing on his elbow fully, making his attractive face vividly blush!

“You’re so strong and cool. You don’t like bragging. And you’re so polite towards women. This is too much. I’ve fallen head over heels for you already.”

After her voice ended, she tiptoed to press a kiss on his cheek again, making the man with too much pheromone blush so hard as he drew a few steps away instantly.

“Miss June, well, I haven’t won first place yet. Why did you...”

“Oh, that was just an advance.” She said and winked at him. “After you win, come get the rest of it. I’ll give it to you right here.”

Then she placed a finger on her lips, before running off happily, leaving the one who was sneakily kissed on the cheek twice in one day blushing. Then he exhaled a long sigh.

After he could get himself back together again, he turned to pay attention to the competition. Then he realized that he was now the center of attention of other players. Even Shin who was standing beside him was gazing at him as well, ...even though he looked so fed up with him.

“What did I do now?” the troublemaker asked, snorting.

“Congratulations,” Shin said wearily. “You’ve just become an attraction. You know the GM and even talked to her so familiarly. And you just requested the items in the craziest way as well. I don’t need to tell you why people are staring at you now right?”

That was when Wisana was stunned, before making a nervous laugh as he scratched his head. He swore that he did not do all that to be the center of attention!!

Not long after that, Rattana shouted as a signal for everyone to get ready for the competition.

“After you finish choosing your items, you may proceed to find a good spot for yourself in the competition. And don’t worry, the staff is going to release the monsters everywhere in the town surely. ...Players please get ready. We’re going to release the monsters’ wave in the next 5 minutes.”

Not very far away from the center of the town, two men were standing on the top of a building. One was a man with glasses and long brown hair that was let down to his waist. The other had short blond hair and a pair of eyes that were red like blood.

“It’s like his reflexes are faster somehow. Do you think so, Allen?”

A voice rang up with a joking tone. The one with long hair and a face that looked quite cunning chuckled, before pushing his glasses softly.

“This guy’s figured out how to control his Signetic now, I guess.”

The owner of the name Allen replied, while his bloody red eyes were staring at Wisana.

“But it also seems that his Signetic’s a bit hard to control. So, it will take a while before he can control it freely like us.” Nero said smilingly.

“Not really.” Allen objected. “This guy doesn’t even think about controlling it at all. Because one of his abilities is the Impulse. His animal instinct is the one that awakens and triggers the other abilities to activate anytime he wants.”

“Having two Signetics like this, except for our boss, I’ve never seen someone who can control them before. I’m so shocked that there’s someone so savage in the world.”

Allen slipped out a laugh at those words. He managed to have a knowing smile on his face instantly.

“But I really want to know what his other ability is.”

Hearing that, Nero paused, before letting out a long sigh.

“Me too.” Then he smiled wryly. “And I hope that it’s not the Whisper or the Rate Time. Because if so, that guy will totally become the most dangerous monster for sure.”

Allen started laughing at his words. “If so, it’ll be fun.”

Then the two stared at Wisana at the same time. And it did not take long before Allen pointed at Wisana with a smile.

“And this will be that last test for you, Vincent. As soon as you touch the crystal, that will be the time that your true battlefield appears.”
