Chapter 196: Versus “Ouroboros” Part XI

Ouroboros screamed out painfully. Its important arm was under attack so badly that it did not know what to do now. Moreover, getting attacked from both sides without any magic to defend itself made it get even more confused!

“Nuch, take over from here. My MP is all out!” Maysa yelled out loudly the moment she was on her feet on the ground again. “Leonard, toss me some MP potion, too.”

Even though she said that she was out of MP and had to trouble that big NPC for help, the special units that she told Al to take care of were still firing at the enemy nonstop. They were not doing that strong damage, but their continuous attacks would be added up to the illusion combo charge anyway.

When the chief of staff had performed her skills so brilliantly like that, how would the others who had been watching let her have the scene for herself only?!

“Let’s join in, too, shall we, Angie?”

“Sure!”

After the agreement, Nuchjaree held her bow up in front of her before her mouth muttered a spell quietly. Then the black bow of hers started floating up in the air before a pair of white wings spread out from the bow.

The bow was floating in the air, pointing at the enemy without Nuchjaree having to utter any commands. At the same time, many golden magic arrows were fired out from the bow like machine gun bullets.

The damage points were popping up continuously as the light magic arrows of Nuchjaree hit the target. And the combos were up to 200 hits so fast within only 10 seconds. So, the young magic archery had been causing damage to Ouroboros up to more than 4 hundred thousand points now!

“Get it, Angie!” Nuchjaree shouted in a high-pitched voice.

But there was not any command needed when the little mage was about to do that anyway. The kid’s scepter was pointed out at the target like she wanted to mark its head. And a blink later, she bent herself back a little, before swinging the scepter out in front of her!

An enormous number of damage points that just popped up from Angie’s firebomb made the little one start smiling. Because at least she could finally attack this tricky boss this time!

However, everyone had not yet gone to another state of attack, because Ouroboros started making a move again. Its ugly, wide mouth started to open with the light white swirling inside of it as an obvious sign that,

Its ultimate, the Final Flash was about to go off now!

“Nam, it’s about to release the ultimate. Now, it’s your turn!”

The chief of staff who just got her MP restored shouted out loudly.

But there was no need for someone to remind her, the slender figure of the guild’s deputy leader had already made a fast move. Her emerald, green eyes had been following every move of the enemy for a while. So, right now, she held a finger up to touch her pretty lips softly, while she was muttering them like she was casting a spell out.

Without hesitation, the slender figure rushed forward to confront the enemy directly. And at the moment that Ouroboros was about to shoot the destroyer light beam out, Waree whipped her hand out harshly, releasing the spell she was holding at once!

The second that Ouroboros was about to release the ultimate skill, suddenly there was a black magic circle appearing. Moreover, there were glowing magic straps tied around its body tightly. And the Final Flash got sealed, unable to shoot out just like that.

“That’s not going to work, Nam. This kind of magic can’t hold it down. It broke Wisana’s spell once earlier, you already saw that, too!”

Maysa shouted out resoundingly. However, Waree was still smiling away.

“Yeah, I know that.”

What happened next was exactly like what the chief of staff said. Even though its mouth was sealed up by the magic spell, Ouroboros still managed to open its mouth wider to shout the destructive beam out anyway. The sealer spell was strong, but it could only reduce some of the attack points of the Final Flash. And that was all.

Waree was aware of that, but she chose to use the spell anyway!

Because that was not all her plan.

“I pray to the door of Solomon to summon the ally from the bond of mine. The moonlight shall be the body, the night wind shall be the blood...”

Then Waree pointed her finger out in front of her, to where a magic circle appeared!

“Shine the light upon clouds, demon of the moon. I demand you to be by my side, sheltering my body from the disaster. You shall come out now, fairy of the moon, Lunarias!”

After Waree yelled, there was a dazzling light coming from the magic circle. And a blink later, there was a slim figure of someone flying out of there as well. The figure was floating in the air for a moment before it fell to be floating a little above the ground right beside its master, Waree!

The fairy of the moon had light blue skin and sparkling golden hair. It looked like a beautiful woman with a slim, fragile body, looking cherished...

Every eye was looking at the fairy that had just been summoned out intensely. And of course, Maysa seemed to be the most shocked as she muttered something out softly, saying, “...An S-ranked demon.”

“Give me a command, Master.”

It asked with a soft voice, making Waree curl up a smile.

“Can you stop that attack over there, Luna? ...Well, I’ve reduced some of its attack points quite a lot, but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to resist it or not, because I don’t have any items to support you right now.”

Hearing the command, the beautiful demon chuckled from its throat, holding up a hand in front of it as it curled up a smile that did not look any less cute than its master. Its golden eyes were staring at Ouroboros before it shook its head slightly.

“No need to worry about that, Master,” Lunarias said with a smile. “Even though you did not reduce the attack points, I would be able to take the damage not so difficult anyway.”

Final Flash!!!

And a second later, the destroyer beam was shot out from Ouroboros instantly. ...Even though the attack got its damage reduced by many points, its range of attack was still enormous, not different from the previous one at all. So, the others gasped as they were looking for a place to take shelter, barely making it in time!

However, Waree and her demon, Lunarias were not bothered by that at all.

The two girls were even smiling, actually.

“I hope that you’re being a bit paranoid about this little beam like this because you’re worried about the others getting hit, Master. Because, from what I see, this attack isn’t that strong at all.”

After Lunarias finished speaking, she held up a hand to take Ouroboros’ attack easily. The shocking thing was that the beam that was coming at them in full force did not crash into Lunarias, but it just stopped midair, before it could get to the demon. Moreover, the demon slowly moved her hands to scoop the light up, before swirling it and shaping it into a ball.

“Master, I can eat this, can’t I?” the gorgeous demon asked.

“Sure, if you’re not afraid of getting diarrhea,” Waree answered.

Hearing the confirmation, the demon managed to take a sip of that ball of light, sucking it in her mouth, making the ball of the Final Flash flatter little by little, until it was gone in a blink later!

BURPP!

“...Oops! burping out like that is not appropriate, Luna. A lady should not do that, should she?”

“My apologies, Master. I just feel a little bit too full.”
