Chapter 154: The Opened Door Part X
Chapter 154: The Opened Door Part X
“Hey, what is it now? Silly, is this some kind of your joke or what?”
He started to lose it. Because getting trapped in here was irritating enough, but there was this annoying voice that kept saying things only she could understand like she was taking him as a fool,
“Don’t be afraid. Your destiny from now on will give you many difficulties. So, no matter what will happen, you need to get a grip on yourself firmly.”
“Destiny... the heck. Can you give any context on what you’re talking about? I’m not some kind of god with a vision to understand that.”
Hearing this, the owner of this sweet voice let out a laugh once again.
“Don’t be afraid, boy. Don’t rush to understand it, either. ...When it’s time, everything will make sense to you, ...everything really.”
And what he had to make sense of?!
Wisana shouted in his mind.
“...It’s a shame that our first meeting has to end now. But it’s okay. Today, I just wanted to see you and open an important door for you. That’s all.”
“...Door? what door?”
The trouble one asked irritatedly, lips pressing together thigh out of nervousness.
“Door of destiny, ...you have three doors of destiny, boy. The first one, you can open it by yourself. The second one, which is slightly open now, I’ll do it for you. And to open the last one, it depends on how far you can keep going, boy.”
“...W ...what are you talking about? Hey, if this is some kind of joke, you should stop now. It’s not funny at all!”
That was another time Wisana snapped intolerably. But that did not make his surroundings change at all. The place in the range of his eyesight remained dark and empty.
“...Didn’t I tell you, boy? You’ll understand when it’s time. But right now, I’m going to open the second door, the door of knowledge.”
“Huh?”
A second later, Wisana’s surroundings started illuminating. It was dazzlingly bright in the way that got him standing dumbfoundedly there. His amber eyes wide opened. His body that previously could move around a bit was now stiff and solid like a rock.
After that, letters, numbers, and many pictures appeared in front of him. His body then felt so light that he could not feel anything anymore. Those characters were coming through his eyes, getting his brain to process them fast.
It was like many words and stories were flooding in his brain quickly. Wisana felt like he just gained something in his body so instantly that it got him speechless with a colicky pain.
“...Wh ...what was that?!”
“Don’t be afraid. It’s not something to harm you. It comes to help.”
The voice said loudly beside his ear. It was so close that it sounded like a whisper. When he opened his eyes again, he saw a light in a human form holding him gently. ...The light looked like a long-haired woman. Even though her face could not be seen clearly, it was still so gentle that he could feel it right away.
“These things are the destinies that you must take. We’ll meet again soon. And until that day, please remember that I’ll always be by your side. Remember that, Wisana.”
Who are you?
The young man could only think of the question because right now his body was getting so heavy that he could not move again, not even move his mouth to speak. The light in a woman’s form curled up a soft smile before her hands cupped around Wisana’s face. Then, she leaned closer to press a soft kiss on his forehead.
“...Call me Alice.”
----------------
WHOOSH!!
It felt like forever, but just a split second had passed. A wind blew against Wisana’s face, making him come to his senses again after he was unconsciously standing still for quite a while...
When everything got back to normal again, he looked up to see these trolls that were holding up their sticks to crush him flat, were not moving. ...Or to be more accurate, they were moving in a super slow motion!
What was happening here? That was the first question that came across his mind. ...Right now, he was back to standing in the same place. But what was that woman’s voice just now?
Moreover, why were these trolls moving so slow that he could see them in a slow-motion picture like this? ...There were many questions in his head, but the tall figure could only look around himself confusedly.
Incoming!!
He could not be confused for so long, because his brain snapped, making him jump with pain. Until he realized that the atmosphere around him was going to change again. As fast as the thought, the time that looked like it was slowing down started going at a normal rate.
As well as the trolls, they were moving fast again.
So, right now, there were many sticks smashing on the ground with full force!!!
BOOM!!
“Wisana!!”
Angie’s shout came from the party communications channel at the same time.
Obviously, those trolls were using sticks to smash the ground, making the thundering sound continuously. Right now, the area was covered in dust and smoke that spread from the attacks. Then, Lord Orc curled up a smile, like it was quite satisfied to know that its enemy had been eliminated.
However, after the smoke faded, Lord Orc’s smile was completely gone as well. Because the body that was supposed to be under the trolls’ sticks, the breathless and still body...
It was missing from there.
“...That was close.”
A moment later, a soft voice of Wisana came from a corner of the battleground, making the trolls look at each other with dumb faces, as well as Lord Orc that was now gasping dumbfoundedly.
“Wisana, you... how did you do that? A while ago, you still...”
Angie was shocked just as much. She asked through the party channel, while Wisana was looking at his hands, speechless. Around him, there were green illuminating light particles floating, making him raise his eyebrows.
“...Good question, how did I do it?”
He said with a shaking voice. And that was all he could say because the trolls had just realized that their attacks missed him, and then managed to run towards Wisana again immediately. Each one looked like they were in the most feral stage, of course.
“Due to the fact that player Wisana has evaded more than 10 times of troll’s attack. The enemies are now in berserk mode.”
Jinnie’s voice spoke up instantly, but this time, it did not make Wisana’s expression change at all.
He still looked at the enemies with a surprised face, while his hands were holding up, fists clenched like he was gathering strength from every part of his body to be ready to use.
...Why does my body feel so light?
What was happening, exactly? ...Why did he suddenly,
Know about these kinds of stuff?!
In the blink of an eye, he held his fists out in front of him, before muttering a spell quietly.
“...The wind is my alliance, the light is hope, ...Blend the magics, release the third bond.”
After his words, the illuminating particles that were floating around him started swirling slowly around its center which was on Wisana’s palm before it transformed into the form of two suitable-sized knives.
Lavetear Holy Knives
The knives in his hands were different. One was shiny silver that was glowing beautifully. And the other one was pitch black with sparks of lightning flashing around it.
Wisana had unlocked these new weapons from the Element.
Lavetear Holy Knives *A pair of knives of air and light elements. It increased the speed of movement for the user. Its prominent point was the ability to sharply break the enemy’s movement parts. The success rate to break the movement parts is 50%.
Needless to say any more words, right now the amber eyes were staring at the enemies that were rushing toward him. His lips lifted to look like a smile without him even realizing it as his brain had already commanded him to...
Attack all the movements of the enemies!
