Chapter 152: The Opened Door Part VIII
Chapter 152: The Opened Door Part VIII
“...Fireball!”
BOOM!!
1,860!
Angie’s attack did not miss, but the thing that made the little kid raise her eyebrows out of shock was the damage number from the attack that she just made on the troll that was running in the front. ...That huge fireball struck its massive body precisely. It blasted a strong burning flame up, but the troll’s skin was not damaged at all. It could be said that the attack could only make the huge monster stunned for a second, and that was all!
“...I really hate monsters that are durable to magic!”
Angie bawled before she slowly ran backward and cast another big combo of spells.
While she was stepping back, another troll ran up to block her way scarily. It drew the large stick in its hand up above its head, then smashed it down, aiming to crush this tiny figure flat on the ground...
Ice Wall
BOOM!!
Luckily, one of the spells she had been holding in her brain was a defensive magic skill like the ice wall. Or the thing that the troll just smashed would not be the wall of a small iceberg, but the tiny figure of hers. And she could guarantee that if she got smashed by that stick just once, it would be enough to put her under the ground!
“...Getting blockaded like this will not be good for sure.”
Angie said to herself, before pointing her finger at the ground.
Flash Bomb!
After the spell’s name was called, a dazzling bright light like the sun blasted up from the ground, making the trolls scream as they covered their blurred eyes from the light. ...They struggled like that for ten seconds, before opening their eyes again, to find that Angie was not there anymore.
The two trolls had no idea how their prey disappeared. They looked at each other confusedly, but then... they turned and saw Wisana who was still running away from the other trolls with a terrified look on his face. That was all for them to decide right away, why would they care about the missing prey, when they could come after the guy right now?
After that, these two trolls joined their friends in chasing this cockroach that was screaming out of terror instead!!
“Angie, you traitor! How could you flee off like that? Shame!!”
He could not scream out for so long, because he had to keep his head down with a strong wind blowing past him, whoosh.
“These jerks, too. I dare you to come one at a time. I’ll slap your head off!”
WHOOSH!!
Finishing speaking, he almost did not have time to leap away in another direction. Many sticks were going past his body for like an inch away, making Wisana use his classic tactic, which was the godly ability to dodge!!
“Come on!! Why do I feel like I have to be running away all my life somehow?!”
He cursed at his life as he dodged the enemies’ attacks. The amber eyes looked at the trolls that were surrounding him and screamed out, when he saw that three trolls were waiting to step on him ahead, too!
“Eeee!! I’m not a freaking cockroach. Why do you want to trample on me that badly, huh?!”
Even though his mouth kept saying that, he still moved like a cockroach impressively anyway. He ran toward one of the trolls’ feet that was running in the front before he would get smashed by the sticks. Then the trolls that were chasing after him ran into the ones in his front harshly, collapsing on each other on the ground disorderly.
The troublemaker glanced over his shoulder, holding a hand up to his chest out of shock. But then he saw that there were still the other trolls that did not collapse because of his cockroach moves just now, too. So, he looked around, clicking his tongue.
“...Seems like you can’t move around that nimbly, huh.”
He said, while his brain was processing things calmly. From his experience in fighting massive monsters, they were likely to have fast movement speed, like Lord Inferno or T-ranra the dinosaur. However, these trolls were not one of that kind.
They could run fast but were awkwardly bulky in their movements!
And that was his chance!!!
After he could stand firm again, Wisana looked around attentively. He saw that at least four trolls were running toward him. ...And of course, this time he was not running, just waiting for the first troll that got to him to draw the stick up and smash it down on him.
BOOM!!
The sound of the stick hitting the ground harshly came, missing its target by just an inch. Wisana took the chance when that troll’s stick was still on the ground to climb up its massive hand, using another great technique of a cockroach, which was climbing on the enemy’s body!
And it worked!
The troll that he was climbing on its shoulder wriggled around as it tried to pick him off its body. And of course, the cockroach’s speed was on a godly level. Wisana managed to climb on the troll quickly until he got on its head successfully.
“Over here, airhead!”
BOOM!!
8,600!
Then a damage number popped up from the head of the troll that he was hanging onto. However, the damage was not done by Wisana, but by another troll that had a very good intention of whipping this annoying player off its friend. But it turned out that Wisana jumped out of there very quickly. So, its stick crashed right on its friend’s forehead instead, sending the troll dead on the ground.
“Bruh! If that were me, my head would probably bounce off for sure.”
Wisana said with a frightful gesture. Right now, the man was still not relieved, even though he had escaped from the enemies’ circle because those trolls seemed to be in shock from seeing the troll getting hurt by the other troll.
“Just like that, excellent.”
Suddenly, Angie’s voice spoke up from his party’s contact channel, making Wisana pause and look around right away.
“Angie, where are you? Come out and help me now, brat!”
“I’m afraid that I can’t do that. Right now, I’m affected by an invisible spell and my plan will be exposed if I show myself.”
“Plan!” The irritating one repeated with a high-pitched tone. “What plan are you... woah!!”
WHOOSH!!
He had not finished speaking yet when a stick of a troll was swung sneakily from his back, missing his head by just inches. ...Seeing that, Wisana decided to run past under the pester monster’s legs and just keep running for now.
“Don’t stop moving, you want to die?”
“No, I don’t. So, please come help me out.”
He said as he looked over his shoulder to see that every troll had recovered from the confusion he caused them a while ago already. And each one of them started chasing him ferally now!
“You see that, kid? Help me!”
“...I can’t. While I’m invisible, I’m also casting the most violate spell, too. If I show myself now, I will probably be targeted by the trolls.”
“Then what should I do?!”
WHOOSH!
He asked as he bent down to evade an attack from the trolls that missed him by a hairbreadth away!
“Could you buy me some time? I need at least 2 minutes.”
“That’s too long!”
Wisana yelled resoundingly.
Hey! Just staying still to cast a spell and running for his life were completely different. And he even had to put up with these buttholes for two minutes, would he not already be dead by then?!
“Ugh! If you have two minutes, are you really sure that you can kill all these trolls, brat?!”
“Yes, 100%.”
Hearing that, Wisana pressed his lips together tightly as he made a sound like a curse in his throat.
This girl was one of those who liked to order him around. Why did these girls always take him as a decoy? ...No, why did the monsters like chasing after him so much? Did his face have something that triggered them, or what?!
“Okay, fine! ...But I have to tell you that I can only hold 2 minutes, it can’t be longer than this, okay?”
“Okay.”
Angie agreed with a clear voice, without him knowing where she was sneakily casting the spell in an invisible mode. But he was sure that it had to be not far from here because she saw his movements and the enemies’ clearly.
Damn it.
For his second class, he would pick a back-line player class this time!
He would not be a tanker anymore!!
