Chapter 253: Toying With The Li Siblings.

Lu San drove very speedily and arrived at the remote place where they had taken Manager Bai's daughter.

Following them was another car that had four guards that Qin Yichen had sent for backup in case things went out of hand.

Since he was their commander, the six guards all bowed as soon as Lu San stepped out of the car.

Once Rong Yue got down, too, they bowed again.

"Has anything happened?" Lu San asked them while standing in front of the abandoned building.

"Since the other call, they have left the two of them alone. I guess that they are waiting for you both,"

Rong Yue nodded in understanding.

"Let the six of them lead the way. These four can stand outside and guard things."

Even though her training hadn't reached the peak, Rong Yue was able to tell that these four were stronger than the six that were here before.

Lu San also knew their strength level and nodded in agreement.

Inside the abandoned building, Manager Bai had been tied up too, and his phone had been taken from him.

However, Li Zhelan was disappointed after going through all the contacts and seeing that, other than Rong Yue's number, there didn't seem to be any other contact that wasn't his family.

This meant that, truly, that was the only person he knew.

"She hasn't called back since. It must be that you aren't even important to the company," Li Zhelan mocked.

Manager Bai said nothing and acted like he didn't hear anything.

Li Zhelan was dissatisfied from being ignored and threw down one of his shoes at him.

"You better pray that she comes here. Otherwise, your daughter would not leave here with a complete body."

"Aren't you running your mouth too much?" Rong Yue's domineering voice rang out as she entered the room.

Seeing the men walking in, the four gangsters that were initially chatting sat up and picked up their sticks.

"Be a good dog and sit down. All your others have been taken care of."

Hearing that, the four of them shivered and sat down back.

"Come down and talk to me if you want answers."

As she said that, Lu San walked forward and used his handkerchief to clean one of the stools lying around so that Rong Yue could sit down.

"If you come down, there are a lot of possibilities, but if you don't, you can forget about leaving here today."

After she said this, Li Zhuhai stood up and came downstairs very quickly.

Unlike her brother, she had more composure.

"My brother and I are interested in your company, we would like to partner and thus, we requested that Manager Bai introduce us to the higher-ups. But who would have guessed that he was stubborn and didn't want the progress of your company? He actually tried to attack my brother instead of giving us the information we requested for."

"Because of that, we had to use some other means to get him to agree," Li Zhuhai said with a broad smile.

However, her lie was indeed too messy, and Rong Yue felt like her guess was correct.

These two siblings were very stupid. However, they were ambitious and used their family background to get matters sorted.

"Do you take me to be a fool? Or are you the stupid one?"
