Bo Jingyi and Sun Li were childhood friends. As one was from a family in politics and the other from a military family, both of them had strict upbringings.

However, their personalities were greatly different from each other, and with them being in different grades, they hardly kept in touch anytime Bo Jingyi was not in the city.

"How's your brother? I heard he got promoted again. Isn't he too young to be a Mayor?" Someone asked Sun Li.

The promotion had happened a while back, but neither of them had been successful in making Sun Li come out for dinner.

Now that she was here, they wanted to try and get some gossip out of her mouth.

Sun Li knew what they doing and just shrugged dismissively, "he's not the first young person to advance that quickly. As long as you are capable enough, the sky is the limit."

Bo Jingyi smiled as she heard Sun Li's response thinking that she had indeed changed a lot from the past.

"The legendary Qin Family's first son is the first and youngest General, he already created the record 3 years ago and from what I have heard, he has climbed about two ranks higher now,"

For the next thirty minutes, the group of six talked about the Qin family and other top families in the capital.

Bo Jingyi did more of the talking as she had the most experience and stayed in the capital.

"I heard that the Second Young Master is the most impressive. The two brothers aren't in competition and other young masters in the capital treat the Second Young Master Qin as a god," someone started as she remembered a gossip that she had heard online.

Bo Jingyi's eyes deepened when she said that and she smiled.

"He is the most capable one among them," then she turned to Sun Li.

"Li'er, my father said Second Young Master Qin came to your brother's party, is that true?"

Despite going to the capital, she had realised after a year that meeting Qin Yichen was no easy task. When she came back home and tried to get help from her father, he had told her to forget it and focus on another person.

But how could there be another person like him? As she heard about the gossip of him going to the Sun family sometime, she made someone plan this dinner and then invited Sun Li out.

Sun Li looked at her from her side eyes. With her instincts she could already tell that Bo Jingyi had interest in him. Thinking up to how she had seen Qin Yichen with Rong Yue more than once she suddenly didn't feel like responding.

"There seemed to have been such a guest, I went upstairs early that night," Sun Li lied.

"You guys, I invited a new friend of mine over, from the Tong family," one of the girls announced as she looked at her phone.

"Tong Yang?" Sun Li asked, her nose scrunching up in disgust.

"Yes, that's true, you both attend City A high school."

"Did you know that she scored full marks for the college entrance examination?"

Sun Li nodded. However, even after seeing that screenshot, she still felt like something was wrong somehow.

Since they were in the same class, she knew that Tong Yang's grades weren't too bad because she sat beside Rong Yue.

In the past, Rong Yue didn't have her guards up against her and during normal school examinations, tests and assignments, she would usually copy from Rong Yue.

It was an open secret. It was even clearer after the both of them separated, Tong Yang's ranking in class had dropped before the college entrance exams.

"You guys, I'll get going now, my curfew time is in an hour,"

"Ahh, you have a curfew time even after examinations? As expected of a military family!"

Sun Li gave no reply to the girl and left.

Bo Jingyi waited a while more before also leaving.

As soon as they left, Tong Yang grabbed her friend's hands, "Young Miss Bo is so elegant,"

"Hmmm, I heard that despite skipping a grade and going to college ahead of us, her grades in college is still impressive,"

"Can you help me invite her to my celebration party tomorrow?" Tong Yang asked, revealing her intentions.

The bigger the identity of her guests, the more connections her family would be able to build. Also, she felt like she would make a better impression on Bo Jingyi if she saw her tomorrow when she would be the center of everyone's attention.

"It's hard to bring those two out of their house, but I'll ask her and see what she thinks,"

The remaining four of them talked for a while more before splitting up.

Tong Yang left there feeling on top of the world.

She had no idea that this was the last moment of glory she would have about the matter.

Back in the capital,

Rong Yue and Qin Yichen had finished lunch since. Since the weather was not bad, she followed him back into the garden with her laptop.

"You should use this with all the time you spend looking at your computer," Qin Yichen passed her a black case that was obviously a glasses case.

Rong Yue looked at the sleek and low key case. From the feel, she could tell that the material used in making the case wasn't just any material.

The glasses inside was just like the case, black all around other than the lenses but it looked solid and sturdy. It was exactly the kind of style that she would have gone for.

After putting it on, she went back to work immediately. As she had a purpose, Rong Yue didn't want to waste time on anything else.

Infinity was going to launch in two weeks and the paper works was almost done.

The first launch was the game that could be downloaded on the store and every gadget that had access to their web store.

However, before the next update, she wanted to create and release the virtual reality version of the game and she needed to prepare the machines that would make that possible.

Just thinking of all she had to do made her unable to be too relaxed and her fingers flew fast across the keyboard.
