Chapter 178: Help Me

Before long, it was dark out, and Qin Yichen packed up the rest of his work. Usually, with his workload, he would stay overtime in the office, but since Rong Yue and Qin Heng were in the office with him, he decided to handle the rest.

When he entered the break room, Qin Heng had slept off, cuddled in Rong Yue's arms while Rong Yue seemed to be talking to someone on the phone.

"Manager Bai, if we don't strike first, others will act on it. I'll create the plan in a document and send it to you. We must speed things up."

Since she followed Qin Yichen's advice, she had to speed up some things.

Previously, she had planned to open chains of the arcade centre around the capital and then look at other provinces later, but now that he advised her to put Manager Bai in charge of the game company.

She felt that now was the best time to arrange matters.

Qin Yichen walked to where she was and lifted Qin Heng out of her arms. Even though she wasn't showing any sign of discomfort, Qin Heng was still a seven-year-old boy and wasn't exactly paperweight. He didn't want her hands to become sore because of him.

"You are done with work?" Rong Yue asked as she stood up and carried her bag.

"Hmmm, I'll continue the rest at home,"

"Yue'er, I have asked Lu San to tie up any loose ends over there and come over to assist you. I don't know what your main goal is, but I do know that it is certainly big."

Deep down, he could tell that she seemed to be chasing something. Perhaps, she knew her mother's secret and was working towards being able to protect them.

Or maybe she had another goal. But he knew that her goal wasn't money. And he wanted to assist her in any way possible.

Rong Yue's eyes teared up slightly at his words. If it had been a month ago, she would have refused his help first, but this time, she nodded her head in understanding.

She was already used to working with Lu San. Also, if he were seen assisting Manager Bai, then things would definitely be easier for them.

They talked all the way home, the both of them not realising that the boy in the back seat had long woken up and watching them.

As he watched them talk, Qin Heng hated that he was still young. Even if the family all said that he was just as intelligent as Qin Yichen, every child in the Qin Family had a growing process.

Because of him, his Second brother had already broken so many rules as the current head of the family, but even as the head, he still had many elders that he had to consider sometimes.

So Qin Heng knew that he couldn't request to work or get involved in some matters yet. Regardless of how much he wanted it.

Rong Yue felt his gaze eventually and looked back.

"Little darling! You are awake. Are you hungry?" She turned her body to face him.

Qin Heng nodded his head sideways, and Rong Yue nodded. Seeing that he had returned to playing with his tablet, Rong Yue turned back.

Just as she pulled her phone out of her pocket, she saw a flashing notification.
