Chapter 113 - 113 - Chaos in Greece (V)

Chapter 113 - 113 - Chaos in Greece (V)

Hades arrived instantly at the location of Typhon's Court, the Chrysler Building. The King of the Underworld's black armor seemed to absorb all the light around. The purple cloak over his shoulders fluttered against the cold and fierce wind.

Hades's black eyes seemed to burn with dark and cold flames; the aura of the dead spread throughout the entire place. Skeletons began to pile up on the surrounding buildings; the quantity was so great that it could make any brave man tremble from head to toe.

Wearing beach shorts, a Hawaiian shirt, and a pair of sunglasses, Typhon appeared before Hades like a gentle breeze. The blue eyes of the Second Generation Primordial God stared at the King of the Dead with an arrogant look.

He ignored the skeletons that covered a large part of the city and spoke in a casual tone. "Hades, it's been a while."

"You know why I came." Hades said in a calm and majestic tone; he looked at Typhon with a solemn gaze and felt that the deity before him had grown stronger while sealed for thousands of years.

"Yes, yes, I stole Zeus's authority, at least a part of it, but it wasn't just me. Uranus hid a part, and Cronus also kept a little." Typhon said with a cheerful laugh; he was genuinely happy to get a share of the Greek God King's Divine Position. This not only weakened Zeus but also made him stronger; how could he not be happy?

Hades didn't care about Uranus and Cronus; just as Typhon had said, these Divine Kings were more cunning than any other deity; they had so many hidden trump cards that it was quite unpleasant to deal with such ancient beings.

"Your mother is truly a bitch; I've wanted to cut off her head for a long time." Hades knew that Gaea had given the small share of the Greek God King's Divine Position to Typhon; otherwise, Typhon wouldn't even be considered a contender for the Greek throne.

"We are two, then." Typhon said with an arrogant laugh; he also wanted to cut off Gaea's head for a long time. The feeling of being manipulated by her for so long had made him hate his mother to the extreme. He really wanted to cut off her head. "Unfortunately, even if we cut off her head, she wouldn't die."

Of course, Hades knew it was impossible to kill Gaea, but he could cause pain and injury to the goddess, especially if Gaea dared to invade the Underworld.

"Ally with me in this war." Hades looked at Typhon and spoke in a majestic tone.

"If this is a joke, it's not funny at all, Hades." Typhon frowned and spoke with a very sarcastic tone at the proposal of the God of the Underworld. As someone who almost caused the fall of Olympus, he knew very well that the feuds between him and Hades were deep, even irreconcilable.

"Do you think you can defeat Uranus and Cronus with your mother's support?" Hades ignored the sarcasm and asked the most important question. If Typhon said he could fight both deities, then he might as well turn around and retreat, as he would not ally with an arrogant fool.

Typhon fell silent, but his silence was the best answer for Hades.

"You know it's impossible, so instead of fighting a losing war, you might as well ally with me in this war." Hades spoke in a calm tone. He didn't like to lie and spoke directly, without hiding his own feelings.

"So that in the end, when Zeus manages to pacify Greece, he will stab me in the back at the slightest moment of carelessness. You know your brother better than anyone." Typhon said with a sarcastic tone at Hades's words.

If Hades were the King of Olympus, he might even accept, but Zeus? Only a fool would ally with someone who was destined to betray him. Zeus's reputation was negative in all pantheons; everyone knew that the Greek God King was a complete paranoid and madman, unworthy of trust.

Hades felt a headache hearing Typhon's words; of course, he knew what Zeus was like, and even if he wanted to, he couldn't clean up his younger brother's name. You can't simply erase all of Zeus's deeds from the universe.

"We can swear an oath before Chaos." Hades did not hesitate to propose; he could not fight Uranus and Cronus with just Poseidon; it was an impossible task, as both deities had powerful subordinates.

Typhon's eyes lit up at Hades's words; if Zeus really swore in the name of Chaos, then he could trust the promise. This was Chaos; not even a God King dared to use the reputation of a being of such greatness lightly.

"I want my territory; even when the war ends, it must remain mine, and I want total autonomy over it, becoming king." Typhon said with a smile; he knew the price was totally unacceptable, but he wasn't the one who needed help to fight two God Kings.

However, when Typhon expected a refusal, Hades nodded and accepted the proposal. "I accept your terms with some alterations; you have to accept mine."

Hades said in a calm tone. "Under no circumstances must you, Typhon, betray or harm a member of Olympus; you and your territory will be yours, but you will have to answer to Olympus and fight for Olympus in future wars."

Typhon frowned, especially at the part about answering to Olympus; that was not the autonomy he wanted.

"You know that total autonomy is impossible; knowing my brother, he will not accept it." Hades said in a calm tone. If it were him, he would have accepted these terms; giving up a territory to save the rest was quite wise, especially in this time of war.

"And is that my problem?" Typhon said with an arrogant smile; he crossed his muscular arms and looked at Hades with a condescending gaze.

"It's really not your problem, but what will happen when you are attacked from three sides? After all, attacking the weakest in a war has become a habit for everyone, including mortals themselves." Hades said in a still calm and cold tone.

Typhon's expression froze; he twisted his lips and thought about the possibility of something like that happening, and the more he thought about it, the more he knew that Hades's words were true. He was the weakest side in this war; he would become the focus of Zeus, Cronus, and Uranus; this sent a shiver down his spine.

"I can fight in future wars, but I don't want to answer to Olympus, especially seeing your brother every summer and winter solstice." Typhon said in a non-negotiable tone; he would rather be attacked than greet Zeus every time he goes to Olympus.

"Do we have our terms?" Hades asked with a slightly relieved tone.

"Yes, we have our terms." Typhon nodded.

Both looked at each other, knowing that the next thing was to wait for Typhon and Zeus to swear before Chaos. Looking at Typhon, Hades retreated and headed towards Uranus's Court; he and Poseidon decided to confront the King of the Sky together.

"How impolite to want my head, my dear son." Gaea appeared behind Typhon and spoke with an elegant smile on her lips.

"Who told you to be the treacherous bitch you are? You have as many enemies as the bottomless pit you call a pussy." Typhon said with a touch of sarcasm in his voice. He looked at Gaea with a touch of disgust in his gaze.

"You're going to hurt my feelings, dear Typhon." Gaea said with a lovely laugh as she covered her mouth with her hand.

"You have feelings?" Typhon seemed shocked by Gaea's words and looked at her heart with an incredulous gaze. "Is there a heart in that body full of conspiracy, thirst for power, and revenge?"

Gaea looked at her son with a calm gaze; she lost her previous smile and stared at Typhon with her brown eyes. Deep and sharp eyes, which seemed increasingly crazy in Typhon's eyes. The Father of All Monsters really showed a touch of caution in his expression.

'This bitch is crazier than ever.' Typhon thought, feeling a shiver run down his body.

"Don't abuse your privilege, dear son." Gaea said in a gentle tone, but her words were not gentle. "I gave you life; I can make it worse than being tortured in Tartarus."

Typhon did not doubt his mother's threats for a moment; this woman was so crazy and vengeful that she overthrew two God Kings and was in the process of dethroning the third. Only a fool would ignore the threat of such a dangerous woman.

Ignoring Gaea, Typhon looked towards Uranus's Court and Cronus's Court in famous buildings in New York City. He knew that things had gotten even crazier.
