"No!" Song Ningran screamed in alarm, "Stop! You can't kill her! Stop!"
"I want more than just to kill her!" Li Yan, his expression crazed, threw his empty handgun at Song Ningran and roared madly, "After I'm done with you, I'll kill that bitch mother of yours too! Oh, and that little bastard you brought back—I'll kill him as well! HAHA! FIRE! FIRE!"

A fierce, dense volley of gunfire erupted, once again targeting Chen Li. But this time, without her mutated bone armor to protect her, she was merely flesh and blood!
Against such an intense, rain-like barrage of bullets, death was certain!
"No!" Song Ningran screamed, her voice hoarse and strained. Ignoring the blood streaming down her forehead where Li Yan's gun had struck her, she tried to rush over and shield Chen Li!
No matter what, this was her own mother!
But just as she moved, she saw Song Hua Jun had already reached Chen Li's side. He threw his body in front of Chen Li, directly facing the rain of bullets!
