Chapter 517 516: I Bought It!
Chapter 517 516: I Bought It!
Autumn Lotus Road, BMW dealership. Qin Heng was here to buy a car for commuting. The Lius' residence wasn't close to Beijing University. Qin Heng couldn't be bothered to take a taxi or rent a car, so he decided to just buy one. After all, he didn't lack the money.
Originally, he had thought about settling for a car worth around three million yuan. However, there weren't any cars of this level for sale near Beijing University, and it wasn't necessary to go far. So, Qin Heng went directly to this BMW dealership on Autumn Lotus Road, the nearest one to Beijing University. This was considered the most high-end car dealership in the area.
As Qin Heng was about to enter the dealership, a security guard at the door suddenly shouted, "Stop right there! Kid, this isn't a place for you! Go play somewhere else!"
In the security guard's view, Qin Heng, with his student-like appearance and unbranded clothing, definitely couldn't afford anything. He figured Qin Heng would at most come to the BMW dealership to gawk, not to actually buy a car. The security guard didn't want to let Qin Heng in at all. He was standing right in front of the door, blocking it, and if he let Qin Heng in, he'd have to step aside. This step isn't worth it for Qin Heng, just a poor student. He's not worth me moving an inch, the security guard thought.
"What's the meaning of this?" Qin Heng frowned slightly, looked at the security guard, and said, "I've never seen a security guard block customers from entering before."
"Customer? Heh," the security guard scoffed. "A poor student like you? What kind of customer are you? What right do you have to make *me* step aside? Get lost! Get lost! Scram! Don't fucking cause trouble here for no reason!"
SMACK!
Qin Heng couldn't be bothered to waste words on him. A single slap landed squarely on the security guard's face, sending him flying backward. Blood poured from his mouth, and several teeth were knocked out.
"You! You!?" The security guard stared at Qin Heng in disbelief. He never would have dreamed that Qin Heng would actually hit him, and with such force! A single slap had sent a grown man flying! What the hell kind of monstrous strength is this? Is he even human?!
Qin Heng acted as if he had merely swatted a fly, not even blinking. After sending the security guard flying, he walked straight into the BMW dealership.
Inside, there appeared to be two rather important VIP clients. They were a man and a woman, both appearing to be around twenty-six or twenty-seven. Young and dressed in luxurious brands from head to toe, they were very flashy. Their outfits alone were possibly worth hundreds of thousands. Six sales associates were all gathered around these two, their eyes gleaming as if they had seen the God of Wealth. Sales associates received a commission for selling cars.
When Qin Heng entered, no sales associates were free; they were all fawning over the two clients.
"Steven, look, a student actually came in here," the woman said, noticing Qin Heng. She gave him a quick glance and added with a faint smile, "He's probably just here to look around. He doesn't look like he has any money."
"Mary, you're right," the man chimed in with a laugh, looking at Qin Heng with disdain. "This student is dressed in cheap clothes. He probably just wants to take pictures to post on his social media."
These two shared the security guard's opinion: they didn't believe for a second that Qin Heng could afford a BMW. After all, this dealership mainly sold the BMW 7 Series. The cheapest models started at over seven hundred thousand yuan, and the most expensive cars even exceeded two million. Students simply couldn't afford them. The sales associates also showed no interest in Qin Heng; one look told them he wasn't someone who could make them money.
Qin Heng ignored them as well. He walked straight to the counter, found a receptionist who was working, and said, "Call your person in charge."
The receptionist didn't even look up, acting as if she hadn't heard Qin Heng. Deliberate ignorance. Clearly, she also deemed Qin Heng, a student, as having no value and therefore ignored him. In her eyes, Qin Heng was just one of those "fake customers" utterly worthless of her time.
BOOM!
Suddenly, a deafening crash reverberated through the entire BMW dealership, startling everyone. It also drew everyone's attention to the counter. With one slap, Qin Heng had shattered the entire counter into pieces. The receptionist was petrified, her eyes nearly popping out of her head as she stared at Qin Heng in disbelief, as if seeing a ghost.
"You! Who are you?!" the receptionist stammered, bewildered. She had never seen anyone with such strength. The counter, though not solid wood, was still very sturdy, yet this student-looking person had smashed it into pieces with a single slap!
The six saleswomen were also stunned, frozen in place. They stared blankly at Qin Heng, completely at a loss. A monster! He's definitely a monster!
The man and woman who had previously looked down on Qin Heng were also stunned. However, it wasn't with horror. Rather, they watched Qin Heng with a hint of excitement in their eyes, like mad scientists who had just discovered new experimental material.
They communicated via their phones:
Great strength. This must be an Inlander, a Martial Artist. I didn't detect any energy fluctuations just now, so it must be pure physical strength. Very impressive.
Not simple at all. It seems his physical strength is already formidable. Add to that the so-called 'Inner Strength' that Inlanders talk about, and he should have tremendous research value.
Exactly! And he seems to be a student, which means he should be easy to deal with. We can try to bring him to Hong Kong to cooperate with our experiments. Perhaps we can break through our research bottlenecks.
This student seems to like cars but doesn't have much money. We'll buy him a car later. That will make it easier to establish a good relationship with him and then take him away from Beijing.
Alright, let's do that! Inlanders are poor. With just a little money, we can easily hook him, heh heh.
Steven and Mary, communicating through their phones, were already treating Qin Heng as prey. It seemed they were from a secret research organization in Hong Kong, visiting the mainland to collect "materials."
The loud crash earlier had alerted the manager of this BMW dealership. A man in his thirties, dressed in a suit with immaculately groomed hair—the epitome of a successful person—walked over. Upon seeing the shattered counter and Qin Heng, his brows furrowed for a moment, but then they relaxed.
"I am Wu Qiang, the manager of this BMW dealership. May I know what you require?" Wu Qiang, as the manager, was obviously much more professional. He didn't belittle Qin Heng based on his attire, at least not outwardly.
"I don't require anything," Qin Heng said indifferently. Then, pointing to the people around him, he continued, "The receptionist and those six saleswomen—fire them and hire new ones. Oh, and the security guard at the door, fire him too."
Upon hearing this, the room fell silent. Everyone looked at Qin Heng in disbelief. The receptionist and the six saleswomen stared at him as if he were insane, barely stifling their laughter, on the verge of doubling over.
"Who do you think you are?! How ridiculous! Daring to speak to Mr. Wu like that!" At that moment, the security guard whom Qin Heng had sent flying earlier stalked back in. Pointing at Qin Heng, he yelled, "Get out now, or I'm calling the police!"
"Sir, what exactly are you here for?" Wu Qiang also furrowed his brows and said to Qin Heng, "You are merely my customer. You have no authority to fire my staff."
"No. From now on, this BMW dealership is mine," Qin Heng said, pulling out a black card. He told Wu Qiang, "Two hundred million. I've bought everything in this store!"
The Supreme VIP Black Card! How is this possible?! How could this student-looking young man possess a Supreme VIP Black Card?!
Wu Qiang's pupils instantly constricted to pinpricks; he almost doubted his own eyes. The receptionist and saleswomen were also stunned, collapsing to the ground, pale as death.
Steven and Mary were shocked as well. Recalling what they had just said—that Inlanders didn't have much money and that buying him a car would suffice—felt like slapping their own faces! Owners of a Supreme VIP Black Card possessed at least ten billion in cash!
