Chapter 2202 - 2203: An Baobei’s Livestream (Part 5)

"Mhm mhm." An Baobei cheerfully went downstairs with An Jing and the others to cut the cake.

Su Changyi and Su Chengyu are not big fans of sweets, so they only had a little cake. On the other hand, An Jing, An Baobei, and Su Haoyu love sweets and were having a great time eating.

Seeing An Baobei enjoying the cake, Su Chengyu teased, "Baobei, you should watch your weight; if you overeat and gain weight, it could ruin your image, and your followers might drop like crazy."

An Baobei continued eating without a care, "No matter how much I eat, I won’t gain weight, I’m just built this way."

Su Chengyu laughed, "Part of the ’can’t gain weight’ club. Haha."

Su Changyi noticed Su Haoyu had already eaten a piece of cake and stopped him from eating more, worried he’d get an upset stomach because he had already eaten plenty at dinner. Taking advantage of Su Changyi’s distraction, Su Haoyu sneaked another small piece, finally satisfied, no longer envying the cake on the table.

An Jing also can’t gain weight, so she happily continued eating with An Baobei.

While eating, An Jing chuckled and said, "Baobei, your second uncle really gave you a lot of face today by inviting so many friends to support you."

An Baobei kept eating joyfully, mumbling, "The reward money was just too much."

"Where’s it too much? If you hadn’t asked me to hold back, I would’ve prepared a million for you right there. Your dad gave me fifty million to run the pub last time. I managed it on my own, so naturally, that fifty million became my pocket money~," Su Chengyu said shamelessly.

Su Changyi was used to it. Anyway, he makes money, and as long as his brother doesn’t cause trouble, the family’s money is usually at his brother’s disposal.

"Besides," Su Chengyu continued, "it’s your first live stream; it has to be grand, right? It’s perfect now. I’ve already decided that the top sponsor in your live stream should always be me. If it’s not me, I’ll keep topping it up so I stay number one."

An Jing laughed, "You’ve already splurged five million; who could possibly top that?"

Su Chengyu: "There’s a chance someone who’s a hardcore fan might surpass me, but I intend to hold that top spot. Baobei is one of us, and the top sponsor has to be someone from our family to hold down the fort."

An Baobei didn’t care: "Instead of rewarding me, why not just give me the money directly? It’d save the hassle of doing it online."

"That wouldn’t be flashy at all; isn’t it great now? You’re so dazzling," Su Chengyu laughed cheerfully. "In the future, when I say my niece is you, it’ll be a source of pride for me, too."

Su Haoyu snorted, "You only care about appearances."

Su Chengyu responded immediately, "Dad, don’t you want to be more prestigious?"

"What’s the point? I don’t do things your way; just having your brother is prestigious enough for me. No one would dare disrespect me. But you, when are you going to achieve something that lets me share in some pride?"

"Isn’t my pub flourishing? I’ve opened quite a few locations already, and business is doing well. I haven’t tarnished your and brother’s reputation, so why despise me?"

"The real reason I despise you is you might remain a bachelor forever."

"It’s always this talk..." Su Chengyu was speechless.

"Yet you keep asking!" Su Haoyu retorted irritably.
