Chapter 1035 - 1037: He’ll Come Out—Someone Will Let You Know

The Walton Clan is the largest automobile manufacturer in Country F.Walton Manor, naturally grand and imposing, showcases the luxury of the Walton Clan.

The black Maybach and Bentley parked in the shadows, perfectly positioned to see the entrance of Walton Manor.

Sophie Sullivan held a pair of binoculars in her hand, with Lucifer sitting in the passenger’s seat, having squeezed Charlie River out.

"Lucifer, when will Liam come out?"

Lucifer rested his head on one hand, laughing lightly, "That’s uncertain. Liam dislikes socializing and prefers peace. So I’m not sure if he’ll even leave today."

Sophie Sullivan dejectedly put down the binoculars, "So there’s a chance we might not see him all day?"

"Yes, if luck isn’t on our side."

Sophie: "..."

Having traveled so far to see her fiance, only to possibly not catch even a glimpse?

Sophie Sullivan couldn’t accept it; she didn’t believe her luck was that bad!

"I’ll wait, I must see him come out today!"

Thomas Shannon was beside them, calmly reading a file; inside the compartment, it had become his miniature office.

He was completely unaffected by Sophie and Lucifer.

There was still a distance from here to the Walton Manor entrance, so Sophie had to rely on the binoculars.

She frequently picked up the binoculars to see if she could spot the person she longed to meet.

Time ticked away every minute and every second.

The whole morning passed in waiting just like this.

With a snap, Thomas Shannon closed the folder. He turned his head, frowning slightly as he looked at the woman patiently waiting beside him, "It’s time for lunch."

"You go eat, I’m not eating." Sophie had no appetite right now. She was eagerly waiting, and the whole morning had passed in vain, with no end in sight.

Could she not be anxious?

Lucifer cleared his throat, "Cecilia, shall I have Leo bring you some food, alright?"

"I’m not interested in eating anything."

Thomas Shannon hooked up a cold smile, exchanging a glance with Lucifer in the rearview mirror, his disdainful look seemingly mocking him for bringing Sophie along when he shouldn’t have.

Lucifer shrugged it off, "If Cecilia doesn’t want to eat, then I won’t eat either."

He stayed with her.

Thomas Shannon’s face displayed a touch of contempt, childish!

Did he not know Sophie Sullivan had a stomach issue? Skipping meals would only upset her stomach.

Letting her be willful like that would only harm her.

Thomas Shannon instructed Charlie River to prepare some food, ensuring the lunch maintained its standard even in the car.

Exquisite food, cooked by the hotel head chef, with perfect appearance, aroma, and taste, was set out from the food box, the scent of the food instantly spreading through the compartment.

Sophie Sullivan’s stomach growled, but she paid it no mind, stubbornly staring at the Walton Manor entrance.

The next second, her head was turned by someone, and before she realized it, her binoculars were taken away.

Soon after, a pair of chopsticks was placed into her hand.

Thomas Shannon’s eye color was indifferent, his always deep voice now carrying an undeniable deterrent force, "Eat first; there’s no need for you to watch every moment. When he comes out, someone will inform you."

The bodyguards were all present, there was no need for her to keep such close watch.

Sophie didn’t try to act strong, understanding her own body well enough to know that if she didn’t eat, her stomach would start to hurt.

Eating in silence, Sophie’s expression was listless, feeling downcast and dejected.

Sophie didn’t eat much, and in a while, she put down the chopsticks. Thomas Shannon took a look at her, picked up a piece of sweet and sour pork, and brought it to her lips, "Eating so little, if your stomach hurts later, there’s no gastric medicine here."
