Chapter 571 - 563: His New Life (Part 2)

Suddenly, the burly foreign man behind Yang Danning stepped forward, grabbed her hair, and slammed her against the wall.

"Ah..."

Yang Danning cried out in pain but didn’t show weakness. She immediately raised her knee to kick the man in the groin.

The man reacted quickly, slightly bending to dodge Yang Danning’s attack, then he violently yanked her hair again, causing her neck to twist in the direction he pulled.

Ji Anning was shocked for a moment, then realized what was happening. Her eyes quickly scanned the ground for a suitable weapon. Finding none, she lifted one foot, slipped off her high heel, raised it, and rushed forward, smashing it hard onto the man’s forehead, "Let go, I’m telling you to let go right now."

She shouted with each strike.

"Shit!" the man swore at Ji Anning, then freed one hand to grab her. Ji Anning dodged.

She threw the shoe in her hand at the man without thinking.

It was no use; the man was too burly. She and Yang Danna were powerless against him.

While Ji Anning pondered, Yang Danning was tangled up with the man again, and the man had kneed her in the stomach several times.

She grew anxious, turned toward the entrance of the restaurant, and yelled, "Police, there’s a fight here!"

There was a police booth not far from the restaurant entrance.

"Ji... Anning, don’t shout."

Ji Anning had yelled twice and was about to continue when Yang Danning, sounding very weak, stopped her from shouting any more.

She instantly realized that Yang Danning was afraid of going to the police station for an investigation, but like this, she could be beaten to death; the man had clearly lost control and was blinded by violence.

Ji Anning, desperate and at a loss, simply threw herself forward, grabbed the man’s arm, and bit down hard.

She bit as hard as she could.

"Ah..."

The man cried out in pain, his strong arm forcefully pushed her, lifting Ji Anning up and throwing her far away.

Ji Anning fell to the ground while Yang Danning took the opportunity to break free from the man’s grasp, but he was not willing to let her go and chased after her to continue the assault.

Just then, the hotel’s security personnel arrived.

"Who is fighting?"

The security staff, all professionally trained, quickly subdued the man who was attacking Yang Danning.

Ji Anning breathed a sigh of relief, only then realizing that her fall had left several parts of her body sore.

She gritted her teeth, unable to get up for a moment.

"You all come with me."

The man had been taken away, and the security grabbed Yang Danning by the arm to take her away.

"I didn’t participate; it was those two fighting. I was just trying to break it up."

Yang Danning shoved off the security guard’s hand, stepped back a few steps, and pointed at Ji Anning, saying that Ji Anning was the real instigator.

Ji Anning’s heart sank as she looked up and frowned at Yang Danning, "Yang Danning, what are you saying?"

Seeing Yang Danning’s arrogant face, Ji Anning felt a pang of betrayal. She had not abandoned her but had rescued her from that foreigner’s hands, and now she was turning around to bite the hand that saved her?

Was this the honest, justice-filled Yang Danning she knew?

Yang Danning tilted her chin up and said righteously and loudly, "I don’t know what shady dealings you had with him, but I saw you fighting with him and tried to pull you away but couldn’t control you both. Just admit it."

Ji Anning’s heart went completely cold, and she scoffed, nodding, "Okay, very good, Yang Danning."
