Chapter 550 - 542 Thawing Relations (Part 1)

The assistant pulled the car over to the side of the road and called out to Ji Anning.

Ji Anning looked up in the direction of the director, who was busy, and after thinking, she said, "I’ll call him and let him know."

With that, she stood up, grabbed her bag, and walked toward her car.

Once in the car, she finally called Director Beck to tell him she was going home to pick up the kids and that they’d dine together in the evening.

Today she was wearing the same outfit, but because her waist injury had healed, she didn’t feel as exhausted, just a bit sleepy. Once in the car, she had intended to take a short nap, but before she knew it, she had already arrived home.

"It looks like we have a guest."

The gate was open, and a car was parked in the yard. The assistant glanced at the car’s license plate and said to Ji Anning.

Ji Anning rubbed her groggy eyes and looked toward the car—a red BMW with a foreign license plate.

She was somewhat surprised, indeed a strange car and license plate, at least she had never seen it there during the time she had lived there, and the car clearly looked like it was driven by a woman, so the visitor was a woman.

The childish voice came from behind her. Ji Anning smiled and turned around to see Fenfen dressed in a thick housecoat, making her already chubby body look even more like a ball.

She was holding a handful of flowers of various colors, which Ji Anning recognized as those from the yard.

"Why did you pick the flowers?" Ji Anning frowned, walked up to Fenfen, crouched down in front of her, picked her up, and walked towards the sofa.

"Playing." Fenfen responded to Ji Anning while picking a pink flower and placing it atop Ji Anning’s head.

Seemingly pleased with her own creation, she picked another flower and continued placing it on Ji Anning’s head.

Ji Anning sat down, allowing Fenfen to sit on her lap, then she looked down at her and said, "Flowers are meant to be admired when they bloom, when you pick them, it hurts them."

Just then, a familiar female voice came from the doorway.

"Miss Kiyi, it was I who let her pick them. Seeing how much she liked them, I agreed."

She was surprised for a moment and looked up to see a tall mixed-race beauty in a sexy pencil skirt, a black top, and a white leather jacket walking in with a smile.

It was indeed that Korea!

A wave of jealousy uncontrollably surged through Ji Anning’s heart.

Korea smiled as she approached Ji Anning, then said with a smile, "Mr. Ji is coming home tonight and asked me to come over to pick up Fenfen and go out for dinner together."

Going to dine out together with Fenfen... Ji Anning asked blankly, "You... you guys?"

Korea nodded, "Yes, Mr. Ji has been busy in L City these past few days and had no time to take care of Fenfen. The issues were resolved last night, and he immediately went to the airport."

So he had not been in N City these past few days; he was on a business trip, and it was even an international one.
