Chapter 399 - 393: Fate Plays with People Like This (Part 8)
Ji Anning hadn’t slept much on the plane and now felt a bit sleepy. She rested her head against the car window and didn’t know how long she had dozed off when the car stopped, which woke her up.
"Are we there?"
She lifted her head, her eyes bleary as she looked out the window, "What place is this?"
"The pan-fried buns you wanted." Ji Chicheng unbuckled his seatbelt while replying to Ji Anning.
Pan-fried buns? Ji Anning took another look outside, her eyes lighting up, "Elite Pan-Fried Buns!"
Her eyes sparkled as she turned to Ji Chicheng, "Uncle, how did you know I liked their pan-fried buns?"
Ji Chicheng rolled his eyes at her, "I was just passing by."
Saying so, he haughtily turned his head and stepped out of the car.
"You say one thing but mean another; you obviously knew I liked them and came here on purpose." Ji Anning quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car as well.
A mobile food cart, with a large advertisement on top: Elite Brand Pan-Fried Buns, eat them and become an elite.
’Pfft’
Seeing this slogan made Ji Anning burst into laughter.
"What is it?" Ji Chicheng looked at her perplexed.
Ji Anning said, laughing, "It reminded me of Qi Helian’s class teacher."
"It seems you’ve been getting along well these past two days." Ji Chicheng frowned, clearly jealous.
Ji Anning hastily changed the subject, "Let’s go eat; I want two servings."
She dragged him along, and from a distance, she could already smell the savory scent of the pan-fried buns. She called out to the lady who was busy clearing the tables, "Two servings... make that three servings of pan-fried buns."
Then she scanned the few crude dining table, chose one nearby, and tried to pull Ji Chicheng over, "Uncle, sit."
"Take it back to eat, or eat on the way."
Ji Chicheng, with his hands in his pants pockets, stood upright, too proud to bend over.
Seeing the other two tables occupied by elite students, Ji Anning also felt that it wasn’t appropriate for them to stay long in such a public place, so she didn’t force Ji Chicheng.
The fame of these pan-fried buns came from the soup inside; one needed to be especially careful while eating them to avoid getting burned or spilling the juice on their clothes.
Therefore, Ji Anning didn’t dare eat in the car and waited until she got home, where she eagerly opened the bag.
She sat cross-legged in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoying Hai City’s night view while eating the street-stall pan-fried buns.
One side was high-end, the other was down-to-earth.
"Finish and drink the milk." Ji Chicheng brought over a cup of milk and placed it next to Ji Anning.
After calling her, he turned to leave.
Suddenly, Ji Anning called out to him, "Uncle."
She picked up a bun, holding it up, "Have one."
"I don’t want any." Ji Chicheng disdainfully glanced at the golden brown bun.
Ji Anning reached out and grabbed his pant leg, "It’s really tasty, try it."
She tilted her face up and pouted at him playfully.
Ji Chicheng frowned, "Let go."
He too grabbed above the pant leg and tugged hard.
Ji Anning, feeling mischievous, held on tight, "No, try a bite."
"Then I prefer tasting this way."
Ji Chicheng coldly smirked, suddenly bending down, he kissed Ji Anning’s greasy lips, and then pinned her down.
He gave Ji Anning no chance to resist, his kisses grew more fervent, his hand reached her waist and slipped in, touching her at a certain spot, he pinched hard.
"Ah..."
It was a mix of pain and pleasure, and Ji Anning cried out.
"Ha, you finally screamed." Ji Chicheng felt a full sense of achievement, he wickedly smiled, mischievously repeating his earlier actions.
