Chapter 246: Who the H*ll Told You to Announce the Plan Like That?!
Cutter: !
After a brief moment of shock, he suddenly snapped back to his senses.
Almost instinctively, he raised his hand to touch his own face.
Nothing wrong with me, right? My brain’s not fried, is it?
After questioning himself briefly, he suddenly realized—he’d been set up!
—That was a player!
Only a player could copy his appearance like that. No one here would target him like this!
Even if someone did, they definitely wouldn’t need to use this kind of method.
“You!......”
He whipped his head around, wanting to look back at the line of words on the ground—those words that Xie Antong had carved out using the All-Knowing Eye.But they’d already vanished completely, like they’d never existed!
What the hell does this mean?!
Was this all a setup?!
Cutter’s eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. He stared blankly at everything in front of him, then mechanically turned his head back to look at the imposter.
He didn’t have much time—Lu Ce had already begun his move.
“I have a plan!”
Lu Ce, now in Cutter’s form, had taken the stage. Cutter’s unexpected appearance was just a bonus. Lu Ce had almost forgotten about this player he’d once flirted with.
He’d initially planned to plant a seed for later. Well, now Xie Antong had gone and activated it directly.
Though Lu Ce wasn’t standing in the center of the prison, he was dead center in the crowd. Everyone was looking at him, watching him raise one hand.
A diamond-like radiance shimmered off him, mesmerizing everyone who looked. No one even realized they were being influenced or controlled.
But those far away—those who couldn’t even see Lu Ce—were just straight-up confused.
They’d been minding their business, doing nothing, when suddenly some strange force yanked their heads in one direction.
It shocked the hell out of them. Some had been working out, even facing away from Lu Ce, and then boom—whiplash from a sudden head turn!
A few nearly dislocated their necks.
“I have a plan.”
“I’m going to break out of prison!”
Lu Ce spread his arms wide, soaking in the spotlight as he dropped the bomb.
Know-it-All’s head was buzzing. He couldn’t make heads or tails of who this guy was or what he was doing.
Breaking out of prison? Are you f***ing serious? You’re just gonna say it out loud like that?!
It wasn’t just him—everyone else was dumbfounded too. In this prison, no one didn’t want out, but a jailbreak?
That kind of thing hadn’t even been thought about in ages.
Even if someone dared to dream it, no one dared to say it.
“We’re going to copy a movie. It’s called The Shawshank Redemption...”
Cutter was so pissed he wanted to curse out loud. This motherf***er was just parroting the lines word for word!
This guy was clearly coming for him!
He stared furiously at the letters appearing on the ground, thinking he’d finally met someone reliable—turns out this one’s even weirder than yesterday’s!
Meanwhile, Xie Antong had no idea that, once again, she’d taken the fall for Lu Ce’s antics.
Cutter started trying to struggle, wanting to speak up in the crowd.
“I’m not him! I’ve been impersonated!”
He started whispering in his immediate vicinity, but quickly realized—no one was even noticing him. People’s gazes couldn’t even land on him!
He couldn’t look at anyone either—it was hard just to turn his head to the side to speak.
And he didn’t dare shout. If he raised his voice, it’d turn into a fight. He had no clue what the other guy was planning and wasn’t ready to get dragged into the mess.
Besides, it looked like his whole plan had been exposed!
“We can get escape tools from Know-it-All that work inside the room and start digging a tunnel.”
As he said this, the Warden and a guard twisted their heads unnaturally to glance at Know-it-All.
“We need to gather players from several rooms to dig together.”
“We’ll take the others with us, so we’ll have enough manpower.”
“We’ll need someone to draw the attention of the prison’s top fighters, so I plan to stir up chaos—get some people killed, start a riot...”
Who the h*ll told you to say it like that?!
In the back of the crowd, the real Cutter nearly jumped out of his skin.
Even if the plan was going public—going head-to-head with the prison—but that last line should’ve never been said!
Your plan is to trick people into dying, and you’re just telling them straight up?!
Are you brain-dead?!
“What the hell are you saying?!” Cutter started spinning in circles. Never mind his plan getting blown wide open—this guy just dumped it all on him!
So this is what makes Hell Mode so hard?!
Nobody ever said there’d be someone actively sabotaging you!
Even if Xie Antong thought the plan was half-baked, in Cutter’s eyes, it had taken serious effort to come up with. And now it was utterly ruined.
Boom!
A massive blast suddenly rang out. Dust flew everywhere, and the crowd scattered. Right as Lu Ce was about to keep talking, a door panel came flying straight at him.
That force—it was basically a bomb.
Lu Ce shifted slightly, dodging it perfectly, but the splintered wood still sprayed across his body.
Bang!
The Warden leapt out from around a corner, slowly walking toward Lu Ce.
“You seem to be getting a little too full of yourself.”
“Announcing a jailbreak in front of me? Inciting the others too?”
“Looks like we’ve got more than one lunatic among this batch of newbies—plenty of suicidal idiots with no clue.”
The guards had been simmering since yesterday. They’d been itching to take someone down, but hadn’t had the chance.
Now, it didn’t matter who this guy was—he was dead meat.
The crowd quickly scattered, and the effect of Lu Ce’s Legendary Weapon was wearing off. People were able to shift their focus again.
The real Cutter hurried to blend into the fleeing crowd. Whoever the hell was trying to screw him over—they could go have a nice chat with the Warden!
But Lu Ce had no intention of changing back. Instead, he shouted at the sky again.
“All eyes on me!”
He wanted everyone in the prison to look. Watch him. Watch “Cutter” get tortured to death.
That way, Xie Antong and the real Cutter might finally become useful.
And as for himself—he could go figure out what “feeding” really meant.
Everyone’s gaze shifted back. Even those who’d already turned to flee whipped their heads around again!
A bunch of people fell flat on their faces from the sudden motion, eating a mouthful of dirt.
“Heh.” Lu Ce looked at the guard right in front of him. “What’s the rush?”
