Chapter 361 - 223: The Museum’s Prize Exhibit, a Master Sliver Creation [Part 2]
She’s quite adept at this game.
She once used this method to force two newcomers in the manga industry to quit, causing them to switch careers and stop drawing manga altogether.
In addition, she loves forming cliques, pulling in some new manga creators, coercing them to pick sides, and often creates "news" outside of the manga to attract attention.
For those who are serious about drawing manga, Isabella Hart’s behavior is akin to taking a crooked path, doing whatever it takes for fame and attention.
In the manga community, Nora Scott has always been indifferent, not caring about gossip. She knows authors through their high-quality works.
Logically, Nora Scott shouldn’t know Isabella Hart.
But, Isabella is such a troublemaker that she couldn’t ignore it. Her manga isn’t great, yet she insisted on creating drama everywhere. There was a time when the entire Mihua Comics forum was filled with her feuds with various authors, and even Nora Scott heard about it.
After that, she paid a little attention.
However, before anything was concluded, Mihua Comics self-destructed, and Nora Scott immediately terminated the contract with Mihua Comics, let alone paying any attention to Isabella.
"Brother Zhou, what did that person just now talk to you about?"
Suddenly, a topic unrelated to Isabella caught Nora Scott’s attention again.
Nora Scott raised her eyes and looked over.
Brother Zhou is the one who did Nora Scott’s makeup and styling in the morning, a girl in her mid-twenties, easy to talk to.
At some point, she was standing together with the group of three.
"It was a staff member from the ’Secret’ program team, asking if we had found an actor to replace José." Brother Zhou shrugged.
"And what did you answer?"
"They don’t film variety shows and came specifically to inquire? That’s suspicious, right?"
"What does it have to do with them?"
All three of them looked furious.
They only learned this morning about Luna Durant tricking José out of his room, and during their break, they’ve privately cursed Luna Durant countless times.
"I said that actor finished shooting long ago and left." Brother Zhou said.
"You didn’t tell them who it was, right?"
"Can’t say, it must be kept secret. Given that their program team has so many fans, if news got out that Actor Chapman is in Greenhill Town and the fans found out, it would probably cause trouble for him."
"Hahaha, I’m looking forward to when the documentary is released; Luna Durant drove away José but ended up with Actor Chapman instead—won’t she be furious? If only I could see her face then."
"Of course I didn’t say." Brother Zhou smiled happily, "It would ruin the surprise if I said it now. I just mentioned it was an unknown small-time actor, can’t even remember the name."
"Brilliant!"
"That person just now was definitely someone Luna Durant sent to inquire."
"Serves her right. Didn’t see that coming, did she? Making a smart move only to mess it up."
...
The four of them burst into laughter together.
Resting her chin on one hand, Nora Scott squinted slightly, listening to their casual chat, and felt significantly more relaxed.

By the time they wrapped up work, it hadn’t yet gotten dark.
Katherine Collins instructed the costuming and props team to return their rented items first, then asked several people to prepare for the following day’s work, before driving Nora Scott back to the hotel ahead.
Henry Chapman was staying in the room José vacated, on the same floor as them.
After a busy day, the pair was starving, and upon reaching the hotel, they headed straight to Henry Chapman’s room.
He was still asleep, and upon hearing the doorbell ringing like a summons, he came to open the door, half-asleep and without putting on a coat.
Seeing his half-asleep state, Katherine Collins felt a bit guilty, while Nora Scott showed no such mercy.
Nora Scott said, "Ten minutes, we’ll be waiting in the second-floor restaurant."
"Eating at the hotel?"
Henry Chapman slightly frowned, unimpressed by the arrangement.
"We could go out—"
Before Katherine Collins could finish, Nora Scott interjected, "Hungry, let’s just manage for now."
"..."
Henry Chapman stared at Nora Scott.
Nora Scott simply said, "Not enough time today, I’ll take you out to eat tomorrow."
"..."
After a three-second standoff, Henry Chapman compromised, turned back to his room, and closed the door.
"This Actor..." Katherine Collins edged closer to Nora Scott, tugging lightly at her sleeve, eyes sparkling with curiosity as she remarked, "He’s kinda cute, so easy to coax."
Nora Scott pondered and concluded, "When he’s not in the zone, he seems a bit naturally dazed."
The reason boils down to Henry Chapman’s good upbringing. Although he appears aloof and distant, making him not easily approachable, he’s actually easygoing, good-tempered, and adheres to some inexplicable principles.
"From his interviews, I thought he’d be difficult to get along with."
"That’s also true," Nora Scott said frankly, "For some people, he’s indeed hard to get along with."
