Ye Ling acted like a child, as she kept clinging to Chen Meiyi's arm, and she didn't want to let go of it no matter how many times she asked her to.

Meanwhile, Ye Lian walked on the other side of Chen Meiyi carrying Feng Yan'er, who insisted on going with them. She didn't have a problem with that because she liked little kids, and the little girl was too adorable.

Feng Yan'er herself liked Ye Lian so much, and she kept clinging to her while giggling together.

"Mother, you—"

"Ling'er, stop addressing me as a mother, okay?" Chen Meiyi helplessly spoke. "I know I saved you two in the past, but I'm no longer Xiao Guang. Although my soul is still the same, I'm now Chen Meiyi. Moreover, I'm much younger than you now, so I want you to call me by my name."

"No." Ye Ling refused with a firm shake of her head. "I don't care if you are now Chen Meiyi, Mother. To me, you will always be my mother, Xiao Guang, so I will continue to call you that."

Chen Meiyi turned to Ye Lian. "Lian'er, please tell your little sister."

"I agree with Ling'er, Mother." Ye Lian apologetically refused. "Just like Ling'er said, you will always be our mother, whether you are Xiao Guang or Chen Meiyi. It will never change, so please stop asking us to stop addressing you as mother."

"Hehe." Feng Yan'er giggled and spoke to Chen Meiyi. "Mother Meiyi, I think whatever they call you is fine, right? Since these two aunts are used to addressing you as their mother, I think you should let them call you that."

"See? Even Little Yan'er agrees with us, Mother," Ye Ling spoke with a triumphant smile, making Chen Meiyi even more helpless.

If they knew about your relationship with her, they would definitely attack your sect and kill everyone there."

"Cheung Yongheng, I came to you because I heard that you successfully reversed Zu Zhoushi's curse technique." The old man frowned at the woman who walked out of the hole. "My name is Xiao Kong'er, the void spirit. If you are willing to help me save someone, I will help you take revenge on that traitor."
