One Piece : Start As Celestial Dragon And Take Down Hancock

Chapter 180 180: The Bartender’s Vow.

Chapter 180 180: The Bartender’s Vow.

As Lakeman sat by the window of Makino's room on the second floor of her bar, the last hues of the sunset bathed Windmill Village in gold.

The ocean breeze carried the faint scent of salt and wildflowers, while the sky slowly deepened from amber to violet.

For the first time all day, the place was quiet—eerily so. Every villager remained unconscious, still under the lingering influence of his Conqueror's Haki from that morning.

He sipped the final drop of his drink, eyes half-closed, savoring the serenity that had replaced the usual laughter below.

Moments later, cheerful voices drifted up from the stairs. Robin, Lily, Stussy, Shakky, and the rest of the women returned from their shopping trip to the Goa Kingdom, their arms light after CP0 had already sent the goods to the cruise ship.

"Master," Robin teased, stepping forward with that familiar sly smile, "how was the bartender? Did she taste as good as she looked?"

Lakeman turned toward her, his lips curving. He pulled her onto his lap, biting the edge of her ear before replying in a low murmur, "Pure, yes. Fresh too. But I still prefer the taste of my historian when she moans over a Poneglyph."

Robin's teasing composure cracked into a soft gasp as his hand traced down her side, his fingers kneading her breast through the thin fabric. The other women exchanged knowing smiles.

"Looks like the great archaeologist has found her match again," Stussy chuckled, leaning against the wall.

Robin tried to protest between shallow breaths, "M-Master… the others are watching…"

"And yet," he whispered against her neck, "you're still trembling for me."

Her only response was a whimper.

The laughter around them softened, replaced by quiet sighs and the rustle of shifting bodies as one by one, the women moved closer.

What began as teasing turned quickly into temptation—and then surrender. Within moments, the sound of moans and rhythmic flesh meeting flesh filled the bar, rising and falling like music, escaping even through the open windows into the evening air.

Down the road, Mirana and Makino—returning from the harbor—heard the unmistakable sounds long before reaching the door.

"Makino," Mirana said with a mischievous grin, tugging her companion's hand, "your bar's gotten… lively again."

Makino's cheeks turned crimson. "O-Oh no"

"Oh yes," Mirana smirked. "Let's not let them have all the fun."

As they stepped inside, the bar's first floor was empty save for the faint glow of lanterns. But the sounds from upstairs grew louder—gasps, pleas, the wet rhythm of passion punctuated by sharp slaps.

Pah. Pah.

"Aaaah… Master… harder…"

Smack.

When they reached the top of the stairs, the sight that met them stole Makino's breath.

The door stood wide open. Stella, Koala, Erin, and several other maids lay scattered across the room, sprawled in exhaustion—some tangled in sheets, others half-asleep on the floor.

Lakeman was behind Shakky, his body moving with raw precision.

Shakky's moans were muffled—Stussy knelt before her, forcing her cum soaked slit on her mouth as the two women trembled in unison.

Each thrust drew another wave of shudders through Shakky's ass, her back arching beautifully as Robin sat above them, her soft cries mingling with his breath against her skin as his mouth full of her tits..

Mirana only smiled; she had long grown accustomed to such scenes. But Makino froze, her lips parting in stunned silence until Mirana brushed her arm lightly.

"Don't just stand there," Mirana murmured with a wink. "He'll notice you soon enough."

Trying to steady her breath, Makino whispered, "T-The villagers… some of them are waking up. They'll come looking for me."

Lakeman didn't slow down. Without a word, he extended a hand, and a faint shimmer of energy enveloped the building—an invisible soundproof barrier sealing every moan within. His red eyes met theirs for a moment.

"Now," he said calmly, voice rich and commanding, "no interruptions."

Makino hesitated, but when Mirana guided her closer, resistance melted into the heat that filled the room.

The evening stretched long and wild. It was nearly 11 at night when the last echoes of pleasure faded.

The women lay scattered in blissful exhaustion, skin glistening beneath the dim light.

Lakeman stood by the window again, gazing out at the waking village below. He could already sense movement—an approaching group led by the village chief, making their way toward the bar.

"Makino!"

The anxious shouts of the villagers outside stirred Makino awake. Her heart skipped a beat as she heard voices gathering near the bar.

Realizing the villagers had woken up, she hurried to dress, fumbling with her blouse under Lakeman's teasing gaze.

"You're quite hasty," he murmured, eyes glinting. "I almost prefer when you're flustered like this."

Makino blushed, fastening her buttons as quickly as she could before rushing downstairs.

Behind her, the other girls stretched lazily, some reaching for their scattered clothes, others still lying on the bed in quiet exhaustion.

Lakeman rose slowly, composed and unreadable. "Let's go," he said, glancing at Mirana, Robin, Lily, Shakky, and Stussy. Together, they descended the stairs.

––

"Makino, are you all right?" the village chief called out, his voice filled with concern.

"I'm fine, Chief," she replied softly, forcing a gentle smile.

"What happened this morning?" one villager asked, rubbing his head.

"Yeah! What was that huge, luxurious ship hovering over the coast before we all fainted?" another added, his tone uneasy.

"I can't remember a thing after that… Do you know anything, Makino?" a third pressed.

Makino hesitated, eyes flickering nervously. Before she could answer, the village chief stepped forward protectively.

"That's enough," he said firmly. Then, turning back to her, his tone softened. "Makino, if you know anything, please tell us. Many villagers are still unconscious, and everyone's worried."

At that moment, Lakeman and his companions appeared at the bottom of the stairs. His presence alone silenced the crowd.

The villagers instinctively took a step back as the young man's blood-red eyes swept over them.

"You don't need to trouble my lovely Makino with so many questions," Lakeman said calmly, wrapping an arm around her waist.

The sudden intimacy in his tone made a few villagers bristle.

"Bastard! Who are you? Are you harassing Makino?" one man shouted angrily, taking a step forward.

Before anyone could react—

Swish.

Mirana vanished from her spot and reappeared before the man, her movement too fast for mortal eyes. With a single graceful motion, she slapped him across the face. The man crashed to the ground, teeth scattering, blood dripping from his mouth.

"How dare you speak so presumptuously before Saint Lakeman." she said coldly, her eyes sharp as blades.

The crowd recoiled in shock. Murmurs spread like wildfire. Some villagers grabbed farming tools, fear mixing with anger, but before they could act, the village chief dropped to his knees.

"Forgive them, Saint Lakeman!" he cried, bowing low. "They are ignorant—please, have mercy!"

"Chief, what are you doing?!" a villager shouted, trying to pull him up.

The chief turned and struck him hard across the face. "Silence! How dare you speak before a Celestial Dragon-sama! Kneel, all of you!"

The words thundered through the air.

Panic rippled through the villagers; generations of ingrained fear surfaced instantly. One by one, they dropped to their knees, pressing their foreheads to the ground. Some trembled. Others wept, begging for forgiveness.

This world, twisted as it was, had long taught its people that Celestial Dragons were the descendants of the gods—the creators of the world. Fear and reverence toward them ran deeper than reason itself.

Makino's heart ached at the sight. She turned to Lakeman, her hand gently touching the arm that still circled her waist. "Master," she whispered, her eyes pleading, "please… "

Lakeman chuckled softly and waved a hand. A faint ripple of energy spread across the area, lifting the kneeling villagers effortlessly to their feet.

"Enough," he said. "All of you, stand. You're Makino's elders, her neighbors—the people who've taken care of her since childhood. For that, I thank you. And I'm not like the other Celestial Dragons. I don't need people kneeling before me for no reason."

The villagers slowly rose, still fearful but visibly relieved. Only the village chief, still kneeling, dared to lift his head.

"Saint Lakeman," he asked cautiously, "you and… Makino?"

Lakeman's lips curved slightly, his crimson eyes glimmering with amusement. He glanced at Makino, who blushed under his gaze.

"That," he said smoothly, "is between me and her."

Before the silence could grow heavier, Makino quickly stepped forward, her expression calm yet earnest.

"Village Chief," she began softly, bowing her head slightly, "please don't misunderstand. Saint Lakeman came here only to visit our village. His cruise ship docked near the shore early this morning. But before he could even greet anyone… Shanks appeared."

The villagers stirred at the name.

Makino's voice trembled just enough to sound genuine, though her words flowed carefully—each one shaped to protect Lakeman's image.

"Shanks unleashed his Conqueror's Haki first," she said. "That's why everyone fainted. He wanted to attack Saint Lakeman—to strike at him without warning."

"What?" gasped one of the men. "But… Shanks would never—"

Makino shook her head quickly, tears welling in her eyes. "You think you know him because he smiles and shares drinks with you. But that's just the mask of a pirate who's deceived us all. He has schemed against me… against little Luffy… against everyone in this village. He's not the man you believed him to be."

The murmurs turned uneasy. Doubt rippled through the crowd like a chill wind.

She pressed on, her voice gaining strength. "If not for Saint Lakeman, we might all have died today. Shanks's Haki struck without mercy, but Saint Lakeman's power easily overwhelmed him. He was defeated—completely."

The villagers stared at her, wide-eyed.

"Afterward," Makino continued, gesturing toward the women behind Lakeman, "these sisters under his command protected everyone. While the battle raged, they carried each of you far from danger, then treated you once the fight ended. Every one of you was tended to with medicine and care."

Robin nodded gracefully, adding without any shame, "It's true. We made sure no villager suffered harm. You were all unconscious when we arrived."

Lily folded her hands behind her back and smiled faintly. "Had Master not intervened, this entire village might have been destroyed."

The chief looked from Makino to Lakeman, his face torn between disbelief and reverence. "So… Shanks attacked you, Saint Lakeman? The same Shanks who used to drink here?"

Lakeman gave a small, unreadable smile. "He did. Pirates have a habit of hiding their claws behind friendly grins."

The villagers murmured again—this time in fearful awe rather than confusion.

Makino stepped closer to Lakeman, her tone softening. "Saint Lakeman didn't wish for conflict. But Shanks forced it upon him. Please, everyone… don't hold on to false memories of a man who was never what he seemed."

The village chief lowered his head, his voice trembling. "Then we owe you our lives, Saint Lakeman. On behalf of Windmill Village… thank you."

Lakeman's red eyes glimmered faintly in the afternoon light. "Protecting what belongs to my people requires no thanks," he said quietly. "But I will accept your sincerity."

The villagers bowed deeply once more, no longer out of fear—but out of gratitude and awe.

Makino exhaled softly beside him, her heart still racing from the lie she had woven so smoothly.

Yet when she glanced at Lakeman, the faint, approving smile on his lips made her chest tighten with a strange warmth.

Lakeman tilted his head slightly, his expression curious. "Tell me, Village Chief—how did you recognize me?"

He could have easily reached into the old man's thoughts with a flicker of power, but that would have ruined the fun. Life, after all, was far too dull when every answer came without effort.

The chief bowed slightly, smiling with restrained reverence. "Actually, Saint Lakeman, it was Vice Admiral Garp who spoke of you. He praised you more than once—about your deeds in Alabasta a few years back, your efforts toward peace, and your… uncompromising stance against pirates. Garp rarely praises anyone, so your name stayed in my memory."

Lakeman's lips curved faintly. "Oh? So this is Vice Admiral Garp's hometown." He looked around, feigning surprise. "Then I suppose I'll stay a few more days—to experience the charm of the place that raised such a man."

The villagers exchanged nervous glances, unsure whether to take his words as a promise or a command.

Moments later, Lakeman led Robin, Lily, Shakky, Stussy, and Mirana toward the pier, their figures regal against the fading light. His luxurious cruise ship shimmered like a floating palace in the distance.

Before stepping aboard, Lakeman turned slightly toward Makino. "Finish up here, my lovely bartender," he said with a teasing smile. "Then come join us for dinner."

Makino nodded, her face soft with warmth and shyness as she watched him walk away with the others.

When their footsteps faded, the village chief finally broke the silence. He looked around to make sure no one else was listening before speaking hesitantly.

"Makino… you and Saint Lakeman…"

She met his gaze, her expression both bashful and proud. "I'll be leaving with him," she said gently. "He's already… my man."

The chief blinked, startled. "Makino… are you sure about this? Should I contact Garp? Did he—did he force you?"

Makino's lips curved into a soft, reassuring smile. "Please don't worry, Chief. Saint Lakeman is kind to me… to all his women. He's gentle, generous, and—" she hesitated briefly, her cheeks turning pink—"he's someone I've given both my heart and my body to. I want to stay by his side and serve him wherever he goes. I'll be his personal bartender."

Her voice softened into a whisper as she turned toward the door. "That's my choice."

Before the old man could respond, she bowed politely and hurried down the path toward the pier, her figure disappearing into the evening light.

––

At the Village Chief's home

The Den Den Mushi on his desk. The chief glanced at it, hesitation flickering in his eyes.

Despite Makino's words, unease gnawed at him. Finally, he picked up the receiver.

"I hope this isn't a mistake," he murmured, turning the dials to call Marineford.

Buru buru…

––

Marineford – Naval Headquarters

Inside Vice Admiral Garp's quarters, the air was still. The old Marine lay sprawled across his couch, snoring loudly, a snot bubble growing and shrinking with every breath.

Buru buru buru…

The Den Den Mushi beside his bed rang insistently.

The bubble popped.

Garp jerked awake, blinking groggily. "Huh?! Who's callin' me at this hour?!"

He rubbed his eyes and reached for the receiver, muttering under his breath. "This better be important… or I'm sending whoever it is flying outta Marineford…"
