Chapter 432: The Great War Between Nations and Alliances

The explosion of Brook's enormous Tailed Beast Ball left cracks within that small alliance of sages and fully exposed Brook's terrifying power.

"Carry out the original plan at once. Suppress the entire Kingdom of Ten Thousand Nations, gather all the power of the ninja world, and capture Brook's women!"

The Great Toad Sage spoke with grim resolve. There was no room left to retreat. Brook's threat just now had made one thing painfully clear. They had to move quickly.

Otherwise, once Brook came for them personally, there would be no chance left to fight back.

Those queens within the Kingdom of Ten Thousand Nations were probably Brook's weakness.

And with Brook possessing the Flying Thunder God Technique, his speed was far too great. They could not afford to delay.

"That is our only option."

The Sage of Six Paths let out a long sigh and voiced no further objections. His soul summoning plan had been brutally broken apart, leaving him with no room to argue. At this point, he could only turn his attention toward the descendants within the Kingdom of Ten Thousand Nations.

For the sake of the entire ninja world, some ninjas would have to be sacrificed.

"Then use the Reverse Summoning Technique and return to the battlefield immediately."

The Great Toad Sage moved at once. In terms of long distance transfer, Reverse Summoning was even more practical than the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Seeing Brook use it, he immediately understood what must have happened to the lurking Otsutsuki.

"That's right. Your reward is death."

Countless enormous black cubes came crashing down onto the three sage. These beings still possessed physical bodies. They could not ignore purely physical attacks like this.

The White Snake Sage cried out in alarm. At that moment, it truly felt like it had stepped into a disaster far worse than Kaguya Otsutsuki herself. By following that dead old toad this far, it had dragged itself into a nightmare.

"White Snake, summon your clan at once. This time, we fight to the end!"

The Great Toad Sage shouted while summoning powerful toads one after another, including Fukasaku, Shima, and Gamabunta, all to help stop the two Ten Tails beings.

The White Snake Sage hated the Great Toad Sage so much its teeth almost cracked, but there was no other choice. It summoned the strongest serpents of Ryuchi Cave as well, including Tagorihime, Ichikishimahime, Takitsuhime, Shinya, and Manda.

The Slug Sage was different. Its main body and clones were all one and the same, and Shikkotsu Forest itself was its domain.

"So now we're fighting a war of numbers, huh?"

Brook sneered and opened a spatial portal. From it emerged the Six Paths of Pain and a group of Edo Tensei warriors.

Animal Path Pain immediately began summoning a large number of powerful creatures.

On the main battlefield, the Six Paths of Pain and the many Edo Tensei had already pushed all the way to the headquarters of the Shinobi World Alliance. Otsutsuki Tokuko, the Fourth Raikage, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kurotsuchi, and Genji had all been driven into despair.

The fact that the Sage of Six Paths and the sage had still not acted, even after the fighting had reached this stage, had already made both Tokuko Otsutsuki and Jiraiya begin to suspect they had been abandoned.

Now that the Six Paths of Pain and the Edo Tensei had disappeared, they were finally being forced to face the alliance's direct counterattack.

The moment the Six Paths of Pain and Edo Tensei vanished, Orochimaru filled the gap with a swift, ruthless deployment. Those undead and puppet forces had already dealt severe damage to the Shinobi World Alliance, and although their disappearance hurt the Kingdom of Ten Thousand Nations, the advantage still remained.

Moreover, Orochimaru's side had conserved far more strength. The alliance was already exhausted.

Kakuzu successfully captured Mabui, the Cloud ninja who possessed the Heavenly Transfer Technique, and looted Kumogakure's treasury along the way.

When Kakuzu saw that mountain of money, his eyes nearly fell out of his skull.

With Obito fighting to the death out front, all Kakuzu had to do was collect the rewards from the rear. For him, this was the perfect mission.

On the main battlefield between the Kingdom of Ten Thousand Nations and the Ninja Alliance, the fighting had already reached a fever pitch.

"Minato, stop helping evil! Wake up! Brook is a villain!"

Jiraiya roared as he fought, his voice full of fury and frustration.

"Konoha today is no longer the Konoha you once knew. Stop now. Join the Ninja Alliance. That is the right path!"

"And I know you're already dead. If you stop resisting, I'll have the Sage of Six Paths release your soul!"

After hearing the testimony of the Great Toad Sage and the Sage of Six Paths, Jiraiya had completely convinced himself that Brook was an intruder. He had already resolved to fight him to the death.

What he could not bear most was seeing his own student turned into Brook's puppet. That only made his hatred for Brook grow even deeper.

But without Fukasaku and Shima to help him maintain Sage Mode, Jiraiya simply could not match Minato Namikaze, the Yellow Flash, who possessed the Flying Thunder God Technique.

"Master Jiraiya, Lord Brook is the only true god."

Minato's voice was calm, almost serene.

"Only by unifying the ninja world can war finally disappear from this world."

"And who told you I'm dead? I am a real living being now."

Brook had altered Minato Namikaze's will with Kotoamatsukami, so Jiraiya's words could not shake him in the slightest.

"Damn it! Minato, I will make sure your soul finds peace!"

Jiraiya could only grit his teeth and continue trying to subdue him. But now, his summoning techniques had been completely rejected, and all support from Mount Myoboku had been cut off.

Tsunade snapped back irritably, glaring at Kurenai.

Right now, she did not even know how to fight this battle properly.

Her speed surged.

Her body returned to its peak state.

"Lady Tsunade, please stop forcing us!"

Kurenai shouted. Even though she wanted to compete with Tsunade for the position of queen, she still did not want to truly injure the woman Lord Brook favored.

Tsunade, however, quickly saw through them.

"You lot do not actually dare use those Grim Reaper masks, do you? After all, Brook likes me too much."

She smiled faintly, instantly putting pressure on the youngsters with a veteran's instinct.

She was also deeply wary of those masks, but she immediately used her words to strike at their hesitation.

Still, Tsunade did not dare overplay that hand. She simply did not want to be captured alive.

So the battle between Tsunade and the seven younger fighters turned into a prolonged deadlock.

On the right flank of the battlefield, the fighting was even more savage.

The proud and violent Uchiha clan, led by Fugaku Uchiha and Uchiha Shisui with their incomplete Susanoo forms, clashed head on with the hot blooded forces of Kumogakure.

The Fourth Raikage A, whose original arm had been twisted off by Brook, now fought with a reattached arm. It was clearly not as strong as the original, but even so, he still managed to overpower Fugaku and hammer him brutally in close combat.

Fortunately, Shisui was there to support Fugaku, and together they barely managed to restrain the Raikage.
