Chapter 471: The Fleet Admiral's Little Darling!
Chapter 471: The Fleet Admiral's Little Darling!
On the Training Ship departing from Elbaf.
Perona stretched lazily as she floated out from the cabin, her face showing undisguised joy.
"Horohorohoro! Finally, I don't have to follow that boring Mihawk to search for Laugh Tale anymore!"
She twirled contentedly in the air, feeling like even the air had become fresher.
"Long live the Fleet Admiral! Long live the training!"
However, her good mood didn't last long before being completely shattered by the scene on the deck.
When her eyes swept across the deck, Perona's little face instantly fell.
Franky was leaning against the railing idly sunbathing, Brook was playing a mournful violin nearby, the three Vinsmoke brothers sat with perfect posture, but their arrogant aura could be sensed from miles away.
Even the usually most diligent Zoro was currently arguing fiercely with Sanji over some trivial matter.
As for Luffy, he was sitting with Usopp and Chopper by the ship's side, each holding a fishing rod, presenting a picture of peaceful tranquility.
A sudden surge of inexplicable anger rose from the depths of Perona's heart.
Immediately after, she put her hands on her hips, striking a little-adult pose, her clear voice ringing across the entire deck.
"What are you all doing!?"
"We're here for training! Not for vacation! Why is everyone just lazing around!"
This sudden outburst immediately attracted everyone's attention.
Before anyone could react, Perona had already floated in front of Franky, pointing her little finger at his nose.
"Franky, aren't you the shipwright? Shouldn't you be inspecting the ship? Get to it!"
Franky blinked confusedly, adjusting his sunglasses: "I just inspected it! It's super fine!"
"Then inspect it again!" Perona declared righteously, giving him no chance to argue.
Before Franky could respond, she turned and floated over to Brook, glaring at him angrily.
"Brook! What kind of music are you playing? It sounds awful! Change it! Play something this princess likes!"
"Yohohoho..." Brook let out his signature laugh, bowing very gentlemanly, "This lovely princess, if I may be so bold to ask, could I see your..."
"Do you want to die, stupid skeleton!"
Perona instantly exploded, roaring to interrupt him, "I only shows it to the Fleet Admiral!"
She glared at Brook's empty eye sockets, then her anger inexplicably subsided halfway as she sighed.
"Alright, I forgot you're already dead and only a skeleton remains! Considering how pitiful you are, this princess forgives you!"
Brook immediately straightened up and bowed ninety degrees: "Thank you very much for your magnanimity!"
"Thanks my ass!" Perona reached out and poked his afro, "Hurry up and change the music!"
After finishing with Brook, Perona drifted menacingly over to the three Vinsmoke brothers.
She looked down at the three of them with an extremely fierce expression.
"Ichiji! Yonji! Niji! Are you three here for training or a fashion show? You can't even sit without putting on your arrogant act! This is a Training Ship, not your pleasure cruise!"
The three brothers exchanged glances.
The most hot-tempered Yonji immediately tried to stand up, but was forcefully pressed back down by Ichiji beside him.
"Don't provoke her," Ichiji warned in a low voice.
Yonji looked defiant. "Why can't we offend her? Will offending her kill us? Can't you see she's acting even more arrogant than us? We need to teach her a lesson!"
"Offending her isn't about whether we'll die or not," Ichiji tightly gripped his younger brother, his voice carrying a trace of fearful experience, "but that we might end up kneeling on the ground, shamefully begging her to kill us!"
Yonji's expression instantly changed.
Remembering Perona's terrifying Devil Fruit ability, he reluctantly hung his head and explained to her.
"We weren't doing anything! Where did you see us being arrogant?"
"If i says you were, then you were!" Perona proudly lifted her small head. "I never wrong anyone! You all have that look of finding everyone irritating! Now, immediately, right away, go to the training room and each do ten thousand push-ups!"
"My temper..." Yonji's fists clenched until they cracked.
"Ten thousand it is then." Ichiji decisively dragged him away. "Let's go to the training room first."
Watching the three Vinsmoke brothers head toward the training room, Perona hummed with satisfaction, then turned her attention to Sanji and Zoro who were still confronting each other.
"Curly-brows! Moss-head! Can't you two settle down!"
"If you have nothing better to do, follow their example - ten thousand push-ups each!"
The moment she finished speaking, Zoro and Sanji seemed to hit pause - one moment they were at each other's throats, the next they simultaneously turned and rushed toward the training room without looking back, moving as fast as lightning.
"And you three!" Perona looked at the fishing trio. "All you do is fish, fish, fish! Hurry up and go to the lookout tower to see if there are any pirate ships in the surrounding waters!"
Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper immediately dropped their fishing rods, gave clumsy salutes, and scampered off toward the lookout tower.
Meanwhile, in a corner of the deck, Hawkins calmly drew a tarot card.
When he saw the card's face, his perpetually stoic poker face finally cracked.
"Not good!!"
Before his words faded, Perona's figure had already floated before him.
"Hawkins?" Perona tilted her head, asking with a serious expression. "Did you predict what's going to happen to you next?"
Hawkins' facial muscles twitched violently.
"...I predicted it."
"Such accurate divination!" Perona generously gave a thumbs-up, then immediately threw a Negative Hollow at him.
Hawkins' knees went weak, and he knelt straight on the ground.
His entire body turned ashen gray, his eyes vacant and devoid of any will to live.
"I'm sorry for being born human... Please be sure to stomp me to death, then hang me on the mast as an example for everyone..."
"Hmph!" Perona hummed with satisfaction, then locked her gaze on Trafalgar Law in another corner.
"You there, yes, you, Trafalgar Law! Come fulfill his request - hang him on the mast to dry into salted fish!"
Several distinct black lines appeared on Law's forehead.
Although he wasn't afraid of Perona's Devil Fruit ability, this loli had the Fleet Admiral's special favor!
On this training ship, they'd rather offend the arrogant Hancock than go against Perona!
After all, offending Hancock would at most result in being petrified by a kick, while offending Perona would leave one kneeling on the ground begging for death in utter despair.
Just imagining that scene sent a shiver down Law's spine.
He was a composed man—how could he possibly kneel and beg for death over a mere disagreement?
With that thought, Law instantly teleported beside Hawkins, lifting him like a chick and casually tossing him onto the mast.
"ROOM."
The poor Hawkins was left dangling from the mast's crossbeam, swaying in the wind.
Observing the now "orderly" deck, Perona clapped her hands in satisfaction and chuckled.
"As expected, this princess is the Fleet Admiral's most considerate little darling!"
"Without this princess, this trainee crew would fall apart sooner or later!"
Just as she was basking in her pride, sudden thunderclaps erupted without warning in the sky ahead of the Training Ship.
Immediately after, a blinding flash shot skyward from an island countless nautical miles away, instantly illuminating half the sky as bright as day.
