Chapter 67
Chapter 67
"Huh?" Song Xici was completely caught off guard by Tang You'an's sudden statement.
"What's wrong? Can't we take a shower together? Am I not as good as Meng Meng?" Tang You'an looked at her and unexpectedly said these words.
"What nonsense are you spouting?" Song Xici immediately glared at her.
"Didn't you two shower together before?" Tang You'an glanced at Song Xici.
"Yes..." Song Xici raised her hand to scratch her head.
"Then why can't we? I'm your..." Tang You'an's tone revealed a hint of sourness as she spoke. She was her wife, after all.
"Uh..."
"Forget it, pretend I didn't say anything." Tang You'an then said another sentence before swiftly turning around, opening the closet, and walking in to rummage for her pajamas.
"Hey," Song Xici was stunned for a second before hurriedly running in as well. She stood next to Tang You'an, who was searching for clothes, and patted her shoulder, "Are you upset?"
Tang You'an pushed aside two pieces of clothing, turned her head to look at her, and after a moment, shook her head, then continued looking for something that caught her eye.
"No? Then why do I feel like you're acting like a sour lemon right now?" Song Xici examined her.
"I'm not. I'll go wash up on the other side. You should shower soon and get some rest too." Tang You'an took a set of cotton pajamas from the hanger and placed them in the crook of her arm.
To say she wasn't jealous would be a lie. Since they started dating, she still hadn't seen Song Xici's body, but Meng Meng, who was just a friend, had seen it hundreds of years ago.
However, just as Tang You'an was about to leave, Song Xici blocked her path.
"What is it?" Tang You'an looked her up and down.
"Don't sulk. If you want to shower together, then let's do it." Song Xici looked up at her, smiling brightly.
"Really?" Tang You'an turned her head to look at her.
"Yes, did you think I was lying?" Song Xici realized that she really couldn't stand seeing Tang You'an unhappy.
"Alright." After hearing this, Tang You'an smiled too.
"You're just like a child sometimes..." Song Xici let out a sigh, then picked out her own pajamas.
"Am I?" Tang You'an tilted her head and asked.
"Aren't you? All principles seem to go out the window with you." Song Xici muttered.
"Then I'm quite fortunate," Tang You'an thought for a moment and came to this conclusion, "There's a saying, what was it... Ah, when you like the right person, you get pampered like a child every day. So it seems I've found the right person to like."
Song Xici burst into laughter after hearing this.
"Alright, alright, let's go!" Seeing that Song Xici had grabbed her pajamas, Tang You'an pushed her shoulders from behind, taking small, happy steps towards the bathroom.
"Slow down, or we'll both end up falling..." Song Xici grumbled.
"Okay..." Hearing this, Tang You'an paused and slowed her pace.
Upon entering the bathroom and closing the door, Tang You'an placed her clothes in the storage basket, let out a breath, and turned to look at Song Xici. "Ready."
"Oh..." At this moment, Song Xici hesitated, then scratched her head, "Um, I'll go run the bath water..."
"Mm." Tang You'an paused, then nodded with a smile.
So, Song Xici went towards the bathtub.
Tang You'an tied up her hair, then lowered her head and began unbuttoning her shirt one by one.
However, as she was unbuttoning, Tang You'an's hands stopped when she saw the ugly scars on her body.
The wounds had healed well over this period, but during the healing process, some scars had formed. They were a bit unsightly. So, even when Song Xici wanted to check if there was any tearing or bleeding, she had Song Xici look through the bandages or clothes. After all, if there was bleeding, it would seep through.
Only she knew how unsightly these scars really were.
On the other side, after filling the tub, Song Xici noticed that a bottle of bath oil was empty, so she got up to get a new one.
"What's wrong? Why are you so slow..." As she came over and saw Tang You'an still standing there, having not taken off her clothes for quite some time, Song Xici became worried and stepped forward, "Did you pull your wound? Let me see."
"No..." Tang You'an quickly shook her head.
"Let me see." Song Xici glared at her and grabbed her collar.
"Does the wound... still hurt?" Song Xici looked at her scars, then reached out and gently caressed them.
"I don't feel much anymore, it's just that if the scars don't fade... you'll have to look at them every day from now on. They're a bit unsightly." Tang You'an said.
"We can always do scar revision surgery, and even if it can't be fully repaired, it's not ugly." Song Xici shook her head, looked at Tang You'an, then pulled her collar to the side, revealing the full extent of the scars.
"How can it not be unsightly..."
Tang You'an looked down at the scars on her body, but before she could react, Song Xici had already leaned down and gently kissed them.
"Xici..." At that moment, Tang You'an was stunned, and her body involuntarily trembled.
The soft sensation touching her body felt like an electric current spreading out. A layer of goosebumps appeared on Tang You'an's skin.
"I'm sorry, did I hurt you?!" Song Xici suddenly lifted her head, but as she did so, she accidentally bumped into Tang You'an's chin.
"Ouch--" This time it really hurt, and Tang You'an couldn't help but raise her hand to rub her chin.
"Oh no... I..." Song Xici became flustered.
"Silly..." Tang You'an shook her head helplessly with a smile, "It doesn't hurt."
"How can it not..."
"Really, it doesn't hurt." Tang You'an smiled.
At such a close distance, Song Xici could see Tang You'an's distinct eyelashes. Her high nose bridge, thin lips, and long, narrow eyes... Whether it was love making her see beauty everywhere or not, Song Xici always felt that every action and look from Tang You'an was alluring, even if it was just a casual glance.
The atmosphere in the air became thick.
Song Xici's throat moved as she swallowed, then she leaned in towards Tang You'an's neck and lightly kissed her lips.
After a brief touch, Song Xici quickly pulled away, "Um, I'm going to take a bath! To promote blood circulation..."
With that, Song Xici grabbed the bottle of essential oil and ran to the side, pushing open the glass door between the shower and the bathtub, and pulling the curtain closed.
Seeing this, Tang You'an followed, pulling back a corner of the curtain, ready to enter.
"Oh, I just remembered, you can't come in here!" However, at this moment, Song Xici called out.
"Huh?" Tang You'an was taken aback.
"You have wounds, you can't soak for too long. You should just take a shower." Song Xici said.
"Alright." Tang You'an let out a sigh, so she retreated, lowered her head to undo all the buttons, put her clothes aside, and turned on the shower.
However, while showering, the feeling that Song Xici's kiss on her chest wound had brought earlier kept lingering in Tang You'an's mind, refusing to go away.
That strange yet wonderful sensation was something she had never experienced before... Tang You'an closed her eyes and wiped away a handful of water from her face.
Since a shower is naturally faster than a bath, it wasn't long before Tang You'an finished. Then, having no reason to stay inside any longer, Tang You'an looked at the drawn curtain and had no choice but to leave the bathroom first.
After quite a while, both of them finally lay back in bed.
"Set an alarm..." Before sleeping, Song Xici picked up her phone.
Hearing this, Tang You'an turned her head to look at her, then spoke up, "Let me massage your shoulders and back."
"Huh?" Song Xici held her phone, thought for a moment, then shook her head, "No need, it's fine."
"I'll give you a massage, I guarantee it'll be more effective than your bath." Tang You'an insisted.
"But..." Song Xici hesitated, "Your... wound... I'm afraid you might strain yourself..."
"If I were really that fragile, how could I survive on a film set?" Tang You'an looked at her, "Thanks to you, I've been using the best medicine and eating the most nutritious food these days, and I've recovered quite well. Besides, I'm not a child, I know my limits. If I feel I can't handle it, I'll stop."
After hearing Tang You'an's words, Song Xici scratched her head, feeling like she couldn't find any fault with that reasoning.
"Well, alright then..." Finally, Song Xici nodded.
After that, Song Xici sat with her back to Tang You'an, sweeping all her hair to the front of her chest. "Okay! Baby, here's your chance to work your magic!"
Hearing this, Tang You'an smiled, then reached out and placed her hands on Song Xici's shoulders and neck. Her touch was neither too light nor too heavy, causing Song Xici's body to sway slightly back and forth.
Sometimes kneading, sometimes tapping, Tang You'an demonstrated quite a professional technique.
After a while, Tang You'an's hands were massaging Song Xici's shoulders, but she slowed down her pace, then leaned closer to Song Xici and asked near her ear, "How does it feel? Compared to last time, has my technique improved or regressed?"
Tang You'an's sudden mention of last time brought a flood of memories to Song Xici's mind. Inadvertently, Song Xici's face reddened, and she stared at the bed, her throat feeling a bit dry, "It's good."
"Then... just like last time, why don't you take off your clothes?" Tang You'an gazed at her snow-white, porcelain-like skin and said softly.
"I..."
"Last time you took them off willingly... why not this time? Besides, what am I to you? Hmm? Can't I see?" Tang You'an tilted her head, staring at her neck which had already started to turn slightly pink.
"You're my... wife." Song Xici said, lightly biting her lip. She was just... shy. Why else would she be so conservative in her acting? As for last time, she truly felt like she had used up all the courage of her life.
"So, do we really need to be so formal?" Tang You'an's hand slowly caressed from her fair neck down to her delicate shoulders.
Just this simple gliding touch was enough to make Song Xici's body feel hot.
"I'm not, don't get the wrong idea..." Song Xici said in a low voice, then reached out her hand, breathing unsteadily as she unbuttoned her front, "If you want me to take it off, I will..."
"Alright, let me help you." Tang You'an's lips curved into a slight smile as she reached out and placed her hands on the now visibly loose collar, then pulled it open towards both shoulders, gradually pulling it down.
A moment later, Song Xici's beautifully contoured shoulders and back were revealed. Looking at her body, Tang You'an felt her throat becoming dry again.
At the same time, Song Xici's back tingled slightly where Tang You'an's hand had touched her.
"Are you cold?" Tang You'an stroked her arm, leaning slightly forward to ask in her ear.
"What?"
"Your body... it's covered in goosebumps..."
"Ah, yes, it is a bit cold..." Song Xici bit her lip.
Hearing this, Tang You'an's throat moved as she swallowed, then reached out from behind and embraced her in her arms, "Then, how about this?"
The unclothed body felt exceptionally soft and comfortable in her arms, and Tang You'an was deeply enamored with this sensation.
As the warm breath scattered near her ear, Song Xici's body couldn't help but shrink back a little, "You'an..."
"Mm...?" Tang You'an kissed her neck, her hand gently caressing Song Xici's soft abdomen, with a slight tendency to move upwards.
"It feels... strange..." Song Xici pressed her lips together, tilting her head to one side, her cheeks flushed red.
"What feels strange..." Tang You'an buried her face in the crook of Song Xici's neck, inhaling her scent.
"My body..." Leaning against Tang You'an, Song Xici felt herself becoming incredibly hot.
"Do you need me..." Tang You'an kissed her shoulder again, her chest rising and falling.
